First midwife appt and a very sick dog

So finally today is the day, in a half hour or so, of my first midwife appt/scan!! I'm not sure if they do an u/s on the first visit or not here in the US but I sure hope so....all I want to see is a heartbeat!

However, my dog has been pretty sick the last three nights in a row, needing me to get up every 2 hours to let her out. We've tried everything--switching her food, giving her rice and pumpkin, taking her off her pain meds (she has a hurt knee). Nothing... So there's a vet appt set up for after the mw appt. The vet asked me to pick up a stool sample....let me just say that very sick dog, (I won't go into the details but it looks serious), plus ms.....was a VERY bad mix!

I'm hoping the best for both our appointments today

Hope your dog feels better soon. We just fed rice when our dog was poorly.

I'm in the uk but I don't tank they normally do a US or listen for a HB that early any where. Best of luck for all the appointments today

Yeah we fed her rice too to no avail! Crazy...
