Angel, stay away from doc Google. From what I have read, a lot of kids measurements are all over the place on those charts and that their height weight and head size are not the same percentile. If they measured Pierce standing up that could be why he measured smaller. The growth charts up until age 2 are designed for babies who have had their length measured laying down and stretched out. Another very likely possibility is that Pierce is about to have a growth spurt. Another possibility, since he has been walking a bit already maybe his spine has settled a little bit? Hope I helped! Pierce is fine hon. There is absolutely nothing wrong with him. He is a big and healthy boy!

Thanks ladies for the reassurance. I'm going to try to trust all is well with Pierce's growth pattern. He eats well so hopefully by his 18 month check up he'll be on track. I'm fine with 70th percentile as long as he is growing! My DH's sister said he was chubby until he was 2, then thinned out...maybe that's what P is doing

Angel, a catered thanksgiving sounds great! I've also known lots of babies to be chubby and then have growth spurts. Especially boys so don't fret hun!

Please stay away from google Angel. Pierce will definitely be tall because your dh is VERY tall and I believe you are well above average too! Even though height is influenced by many genes, kids tend to take after their parents. Same reason Simon is tall because Laura and her oh are tall. These growth charts cause so much worry for parents, especially mothers. I think we tend to worry so much, but only because we love them. Oh one example, Natalie has barely grown this year, but I am sure she will have a growth spurt soon. Oh, forgot to mention Aly is taller than me and my dh now! She is about 5'8''!! Size 10.5 shoes. She is a beauty. We got the referral for the gi clinic. So I am going to call first thing Monday morning!! Yay!! Sophie still has terrible reflux, barely eats, so I have no idea how she weighs almost 30 lbs. I hope this doesn't mean she is going to be overweight when she gets older, because she is quite heavy but does look quite lean. She wears much bigger clothes then her age and they fit in length, but the waist falls off so I have to adjust them to her slender build.

Amy ~ 10 days and you get to Can you test daily before that and watch if the test gets darker or not, does that work with IVF? (I only ask because one of the surrogate Moms on here tested 5 dpt and got a squinter BFP)

I'm having issues w/ P's diapers leaking at night *whomp whomp* I'm even using Pampers' over night A leaky diaper means an awake baby--I try to stay quiet as I put fresh pj's on him, but it still takes him an hour to doze back off Means we're up from 4a-5a...so much for sleeping through the night! Any tips?

Angel, do you think that maybe you need to go up a size at night or try another brand? Lorelei pees a ton so I think that I will need to move her to size 5 at night soon.
Thanks about her pony! When I wear her in the store people call her Pebbles lol. TTC isn't really happening as my spouse is never home long enough. He hasn't even had a week in between projects- it is pretty crazy and he is burned out.

Jess, yay for the referral! I don't think that she will be overweight though. When I was in HS I was very petite but much heavier than people physically bigger than me. Maybe my bones are made of lead either way, we are pretty solidly built in my family. Maybe Sophie is too!

Nothing exciting from me. Have to go out for cat litter tomorrow. Sigh. I tricked Kitty into eating wet food tonight by saying that it was a treat for him- he always likes treats! And I have a pretty amazing photo of Lorelei sobbing because I wouldn't let her eat the energy bill. Toddlers are fun

Yes, I think Sophia is big boned. lol. She is 30 pounds but the clothes fall off of her waist (so hard to find clothes that fit) She is very tall so I would assume her weight goes with that. Plus I was just like you growing up Bethany. Only I was taller than many and heavier. lol. Even at a size 6 I am on the heavy side. My daughters are all like this.

Any suggestions Angel, on brands that run a little slimmer on the waist but still accommodates a baby with thick thighs and arms? lol. Right now we buy any brand that has an adjustable waist. Its stressful going to the stores because I have to take Sophia in to try the clothes now because of her different proportions. And she wears way different sizes for different brands. I can't even buy her osh kosh. They are made too skinny for her. Gymboree fit a tad bit better. I am about to buy her winter wardrobe so I am scared to have to return a bunch of clothes that don't fit right. Janie and jack is pretty good but wide on Sophie. I do like that they are preshrunk though.

Angel, you use the pampers overnight diapers and he still leaks. Is it possible the legs are too loose and need to be tighter or does it actually leak out of the back? I wish I could be of more help. Sophia rarely pees at night now. When she wakes up her diaper is usually almost dry. I am thinking the same thing might start happening with Pierce as he gets older. Does he drink any milk before bed?

Jess have you tried Hanna Andersson or Mini Boden (a UK brand)? Pierce has a pot belly, so Janie & Jack is perfect! It's easier for me b/c I've a boy and it's ok if he is dressed stocky I hope the call to the GI Dr went smoothly and they get Soph in quickly

Bethany ~ Toddler tantrums haha! Poor things just don't understand why everything isn't theirs...Pierce recently started throwing back when I take something (aka a pen) away from him It's worse when he is tired

Diaper leaking: I think I am going to try going up a size for nighttime...I'll grab some size 6 later today. The diapers seal around his legs, but it could be a position issue---meaning if I don't point his pee pee down and he lays in his side he pees up and out! Maybe a larger size will accommodate this issue

+ve OPK: So my newest inner turmoil is to try or not to try. I've been using OPKs and got a +ve today. My DH comes back from a trip today and is the stereotypical "reclaim what's mine" guy, so BD is inevitable. I'm not sure if I want to pull the trigger and jump down that rabbit hole or not

Angel, LOVE your PMA! hehehe Day 4 and Im hanging in there. My mom and DH asked that I not test before my beta on the 25th... do they not know what they are asking of me?!!?!? Ugh! LOL How are you doing? Did you say your hubby is out of town right now?
