Fruits for 3 month old? :/

4 months old is when I started with the boys...cereals and then fruits and veggies...we waited a few days in between but now they are about 5 1/2 months and are eating fruits..veggies..and chicken... they are great eaters and still eat their bottles..they oatmeal and a fruit in the morning and then for dinner they get rice cereal and a veggie/protein....they also get a cereal bottle at midnight...its all up to you...just stay away from the obvious allergy triggers and also keep in mind any food allergies that run in your family and avoid those too...and no citrus either..otherwise its your choice..Im starting to make my own baby food coz with the boys its just too $$ lol...and also going to make my own rice and oatmeal cereals too! soo exciting!! and there are cookbooks for baby foods as well! that tell you when you can introduce certain things and tell you what spices you can use too!

Recommendations here is: 4-6 months just tasters like a teaspoon of pears, prunes, bananas and crucial is gluten (like the special childrens porridges as regular oatmeal doesn't contain enough) to prevent intolerance. But only if baby seems interested.
Bananas can cause constipation though so I'd start with pear or prune.

From 6 months you can introduce solids more properly than just tasters.

And no dairy until 12 months because of the low iron content. Continue bf or ff while introducing solids.

That's the guidelines here.

They can have dairy from 6 months in food form but not cows/goats milk as the main milk drink. Just mixed in food, yoghurt, cheese etc.

Sorry, yes of course! That's what I meant :dohh::flower:
