going abroad - what to do about milk?

can i ask a really stupid question, could you open the cartons without using scissors? i was worried about thos on the plane as i struggle to open them?

You could always try and open a carton before you go. Or the cabin crew, I would imagine, would be happy to help.

im thinking more for going through security & them asking you to try it

i think cow and gate do little plastic bottles of formula with screw top lids? this might only be the toddler milk but your son might be old enough as i *think* the toddler ones are suitable for 12 months plus?

We took DD away when she was 7 months old, we took tins of powder formula and a few cartons for if we were out in the day for longer than a bottle would last.
When we were making up bottles, we used bottled water but bought the one with the lowest sodium content, but tbh, we bought some cartons of Spanish baby milk cartons while we were there just coz it was just easier (good job I speak a bit of Spanish or I wouldn't have known which one to get).
We are going away again in September when she will be 14 months and we will be just taking cartons this time (all in suitcases).
Have a fab holiday :)
