Oh is terrible with coke (full fat), apart from when he's at work where he drinks orange squash and hot chocolate all he drinks is coke. It really worries me sometimes as he won't drink anything else apart from the odd glass of milk. I've told him he should cut down but he doesn't listen!
I used to be similar to my oh pre pregnancy but now I only have one, sometimes two glasses a day and some days I don't have any. I drink flavoured water instead. I love coke but I know it's not good for me and I can't have too much caffiene anyway due to breastfeeding so that's also my motivation for not drinking it excessively.
I agree with the pp who mentioned cutting down gradually, I'd imagine your body will go into some sort of shock/withdrawal due to the sudden drop in caffiene and sugar if you went cold turkey. Cutting down gradually will mean your body has time to adjust so the withdrawek effects will be lessened, and it will probably be easier on you mentally too providing you stick to it.
