yes that sac was wierd, it completely came away and was flaoting around in the pool!! The midwife was amazed as usually it stays attached to the pladenta at one end lol

Looking through all these great pics makes me realy want another baby just so I can have a home birth AGAIN!! :HAHA:

Very excited to watch your video.. who and how did you film it and with what? Sorry for all the questions, I really want to film my birth this time round, and just trying to think who could do it (and if I can't get anyone, then I'll have to borrow a tripod,, and leave it running, but don't have the capacity on my camera - have to buy a mega card) Or what equipment o use. I could borrow my friends HD video... but I'm not sure I wan't to be in HD!!!?!?! LOL

Haha. My OH filmed it. He almost missed the birth as he was showing the second midwife where to park outside which is why it starts rolling with Rafes head already out.

We just used a normal camera that has a video camera function on it and OH just stood there and filmed it then stopped as soon as he was born No special equipment or anything.

I'm so glad we did film it now It makes me well up every time I watch it! Haha.

It is beautiful!! So pleased I watched it. No need to reduce any volume either! You made some noise, but you were also talking, and seemed really relaxed. Thought you were fantastic!

I'll have to get 2 cameras I think - give one to the MW to take pictures, and the other to OH to do video.. though he is rubbish at taking video.. and his thigh was really useful to hold on to at my end last time! Think I'll borrow a tripod from my sister.. umm you have really got me thinking..
It's something that I really will treasure, as I know you must.

Would you girls mind if i share my photos here, i wanted a home birth but i wasnt allowed as fainted a few dyas before chloe was born, but i had a natural mudwife lead water birth in hospital.

Hiya Everyone,
I am desperate to have a home water birth, my 1st 2 births were in hospital and although vaginal deliveries not the best of memories as hospital not the best and the care received is naff! 3rd baby born at 31+3 and due to my severe pre eclampsia and bp being so high no chance of induction so had emergency c section. Midwife led hospital further away won't take me as considered high risk, but gynae consultant at my hospital said very very unlikely I would have PE again so really gonna push for the home birth if all in the pregnancy goes well. Few questions, does anyone know someone who has had a home birth after a previous c section, and where did you all get your pools, don't wanna spend a fortune in case it doesn't get the full use!!

Those photos are lovely!! Id love to have photos done but don't think hubby would be as excited about the idea lol

It makes me a bit envious though the the lady on the first page still looks bloody gorgeous in labour. I'm pretty sure I never looked that good xxx

Wonderful experience and although it was very intense towards the end, Id definitely do it again. I cant imagine birthing any other way now it really was amazing!
