How did you announce your pregnancy on facebook?

Posted the ultrasound the first time.. this time I took a photo of me holding my daughter and had an arrow with her age pointing and an arrow with the new baby's age pointing at my belly. There are a ton of ideas out there using your other children.

I won't be announcing on facebook.....till bubba is out and post family only pictures

We'll be posting this on Tuesday once our NT scan is done and everything looks great.

My hubby posted a pic of him holding the positive pregnancy test.
I posted a pic from my first scan.

I was worried about telling ppl early, but he was so excited he wanted to tell the whole world - so I bit the bullet and couldn't be happier. Everyone was super excited and surprised.

This is how we did it! :)

I'm planning to announce tmrw after my scan. :). I'm probably going to frame an 8x10 photo of the scan and take a pic of the kids holding it. :)

We are going to do it once our scans took place.. whenever that is haha..

We are going to stand by the antenatal unit with the sign in the background and caption it "we have had the best day" see if anyone clicks haha x

We haven't announced it yet but got my scan on Friday (Valentines day) - as long as all ok will put a picture of the scan & probably something like 'the best valentines present we've ever had... our first scan of baby due 5th September' & will tag hubby in :) I'll be 11 weeks but might have dates put forward hopefully, next one after that won't be til 20 weeks & there's no way I could wait that long!
xo.

Love these ideas... I was thinking of getting some t-shirts printed up and giving these to family, saying "grandchild due [date]" or something like that. I love the idea of taking an obvious photo and posting or sending it to people and waiting for their brain to click and realise what is going on... I think I will you tube alot of ideas too. I have plenty of time, just newly ttc. :)

So many cute ideas! For my first pregnancy we did this:image.jpg

Love it Montana, how long did it take people to realise? Very cute!!

After our 8week scan I just posted the scan picture and said something with it.

I'm thinking after my scan I'm going to get a photo with my son and daughter either side of me holding the scan pic over my little bump and say in the caption baby #3 is in the making or everyone meet the newest member of our family due jan/Feb 15 x

I've been changing my banner to reflect the fruit of the week - right now I have a picture of apple seeds. Just apple seeds though, no information as to why. I am otherwise keeping mum until 15-20 weeks, depending.

im not sure how we will choose to announce it
but it will definitely be sometimes after we find out the gender so probably 18-20 weeks along which will be the end of august or first couple of weeks in september
so we still have a while to think about it

I didn't announce on fb until after I had my 20 week scan. I just added a new life event saying "expecting a baby boy" with the due date and two of my fav 20 week scan pics.

I'm not a big fb person so I don't like the idea of announcing as soon as I find out seeing as anyone who doesn't know by 20 weeks is probably not someone I care too much about. If I were to mc I wouldn't want to have to share something so personal to a friend of a friend or someone that I haven't seen since high school.

My cousin announced her most recent pg the day she found out with a pic of her test. To me, that is a bit... yuck. showing 300+ people (most of whom you don't even see IRL) your pee stick, but that's just me lol! I figure, if I don't talk to you in person at least on occasion or you aren't family, 20 weeks is early enough.

That's bloody brilliant xx
