Bubble wrap it first? You can pick some bubble wrap up from large Post Offices.

Just buy a nice gift box, or old box and wrap that x

or you could combine the ideas already given and bubble wrap it and then put it in a box and wrap it, just to be safe

I agree, use a box! You could even get a nice gift box and stuff it with tissue paper, then you wouldn't need to wrap!
