How do you pronounce

Tiffany = Tif-fa-nee

I'm pretty sure I don't have to phonetically spell out Claire's name, it's pretty self-explanatory.

I have to agree with the post about b.astardising the english language just to make a name look different from anyone else. It makes me cringe. Some names look fine with it, but others.....I just think if you like a name, use it. Don't kill it by adding loads of extra vowels. Or names spelt phonetically. Not a fan.

Oh and Niamh is a traditional Irish name, not something I made up

Traditional Irish names are great, never spelled phonetically are they? e.g My ex's sister was called Ailbhe, pronounced 'Alva'.

When people ask my daughters middle names and I say "Blaise" they think it's "Blaze" as it's pronounced the same. One of my best friends is called Blaise, it's actually a Saints name (a man) but it really suits her and suits my daughter too
