G is dry overnight so I try & catch that 1st huge pee in a potty 
if I don't we get dressed, breakfast & I change a sodden nappy 45min later. After that we mostly get 3-4 hours although most days at least once I open his nappy & find it dry. I've started to put him on the potty after naps too if the nappy is dry (which it usually is) although he's less likely to go then than in the morning. It all saves washing!
