Thanks all, he's a bit bummed. I brought him a drink and we have already booked his test for the 23rd July. Defo hope for a cancellation prob is by the time the 10 working day wait is up his instructor is on hol so immediately we are looking at mid June. (Which is still better I know!) Right now we are weighing up all our options, might change instructor or insure our car as a provisional to get practice

Aw I'm sorry, was he close? Hope he gets a quick cancellation, my first test was cancelled on the day but managed to get a cancellation 3 weeks later.

He got the serious fault but only 4 minors. His instructor is back from the 3rd so we are hoping for something then.. Or see if another instructor will take him short notice..
