I know they are only doing there job but ARGHHHHH

This is a bit extrem point but a point nun the less.
How old would you say this woman is on average?

please tell me it isn't you before I take a guess.

I always get ID'd too :(

yeah its their job but some of these ppl take it way to far, bloody power mad lol

i was with my oh n i was buyin booze, she id'd me and then my oh. i asked why ru iding him when im buyin n uve seen my id. she said he doesnt look old enough.
i then said so if im with my baby or my little sister u wudnt serve me cuz im with them? she didnt no what to say lol my ohs 25 but does have a baby face, but it wasnt the point so i complained about her.

also happened to my sister, she got id'd didnt have any so my mum said ile buy it with my shoppin. women said im not serving u cuz its for her so my mum said fine n walked off leaving her monthly shop on the till lol

If there is more then one person present when buying alcohol you are supposed to ID everyone incase they are buying it for them.

Ive had to turn people away as not everyone had ID. ive been called rude, a bitch, power mad, crazy, stupid, blind and even been threatened because i wouldnt serve someone.

We are not allowed to sell a age restricted item if someone says "oh ill buy it instead then" as clearly their just doing it because you have refused the other person.

My life would be easier not to be strict about ID'ing i wouldnt have to put up with all the silly aggression over booze but its the rules and i have to follow them.

I get id'd for buying a 15 year old dvd in asda..I don't get id'd anywere except for asda no matter what it is, if it has a age restriction they Id me... I once said what? I have a baby..lol to which the woman replied yea u could have a baby at 12 lol which is quite true but shocked me

You lot would go crazy in the US...you wouldn't dare try to purchase alchi if you look under 40! Hehe.

My aunt got carded for cigarrettes when she was 44!! She had just lost her license that week so she had to have my 18 y/o cousin go in and buy them for her!

I'm 21 but look older (always have) and I'm forever getting ID'd... but I have no ID! :dohh:

i only had a citizen card up until recently where ive finaly got a passport lol
my mum sent me down the shop to buy her cigs when i was 19 n the woman who id'd me for them used to sell my cigs when i was 14! then she id'd me again afew days later so i informed her of what she used to sell me at 14 n that shut her up lol

i think the rule if id'ing everone in the group is rediculas as like ive said, what if im with my little sister or child. surly that rule would apply then also

Lol, I get disappointed if I don't get ID'd now! x

i get id'd all the time at the garage down the road but purely outta spite i used to go out with the woman son (like 5 year ago) and i was same year as him and 3 days older she knows this as shes friends with my uncle
ive actually complained about her as she id's me for everything when theres no need since the guy who owns it id'd me once and know says its fiine ive seen your id x

I was ID'd buying a scratchcard when I was 37 weeks pregnant when i was 25...The woman had served me before though!!I was even wearing a wedding ring, and she knew I was married...stupid woman...I had to be 16 to do that at least!x

My OH got id'd in the toby carvery the other week. He got 3 cokes and a larger. We were with my grandparents, Why if he was under age, would he go to the bar when there were to people who are quite clearly in there 60's stood there?

Yes they have to do there job but a bit of common sence wouldent go amiss sime times

My mum got id'd for buying some arosol deoderant with her weekly shop. She is 43 and blatantly looks 43 and i was with her, stood calling her mother. She just laughed at the girl and asked to see her superrvisor.

I never get ID'd. Im 19 and always have my provisional liscence with me just in case. But Ive never in my life been asked for ID. My boss who's in her late 40's and you can tell was ID in wetherspoons for an irish coffee.

LOL I always get asked for ID, its tiresome and boring but theyre only doing their job.

What annoys me is little snotty kids behind a counter doing it to prove a point when infact they are barely legal to sell it themselves

this woman in a local bar really hates me and i have no idea why, on every night out shed id me. when i was pregnant she said to a girl not to serve me as i was too drunk! wasnt even drinking and i hadnt even seen her while i waas there.

and during the day me n oh went in, where a child can go in and eat with a adult anyway, but she id,d my oh who had id then she said well ur with her so im not serving u unless shes got id. we wanted food and soft drinks as i was again still pregnant.

i really ment to complain about her but never got round to it, she was just a nasty little cow

just bee to tesco's to do weekly shop, me oh little one and his 6 year old little girl

in this weelky shop was ONE bottle of beer and the woman asked me for id

ok i know they are only doing there job so i said sorry no i dont carry it ill just not have it

her response was you should carry it if you want beer I said i am 29 in 3 weeks and she said yeah right you dont look 21 so no beer

i very nearly told them to stick all shopping all £150 worth of it as it was nappy and milk week LOL

i mean look at my pics do i look underage https://www.facebook.com/#!/tessica123

Was it the big Tesco? If so, they are always like that in there, my OH and I get ID'ed everytime we buy anything with an age limit, even DVDs. I got ID'ed for a 15  and I've been ID'ed for scratchcards in there too. Not surprisingly, I don't get ID'ed anywhere else!
The staff there seem to have major attitude problems.. not shocking really since the majority of them are fresh out of school!!

my oh got id'd for a nuts mag once n the lad knew how old he was, he was just being a git lol

This rule is the most ridiculous rule i've heard ever!!
My OH is 28 and was ID'd for cigs and he showed them his licence and then they asked me when i was like fully pregnant and i was like 'Yeah cos of course there for me you complete utter moron!'

And then whilst with my dad i got ID'd and my dad left and went else where.
It's a ridiculous rule it seriously is,round my area we get it quite a bit and so many stories in the paper and there thinking of getting rid of the rule here because it's insane!

Saying that i never get ID'd anymore even though i'm underage:dohh: i go into shops and buy OH cigs and beer even without little one and no one gives a damn LOL!

p.s: but i agree you shouldn't of been threatended...but seriously there are some twats out there that do it to piss you off so i have become gobby before cos it winds ,me up!
