I shouldn't post here but I'm wondering if you remember me?

I would def go back to docs, just for peace of mind xxx

Regardless or the strength of die in the test I would say you need to have your hog levels monitored by your doc given that you have contraception in place now. Get yourself seen and looked after. X

Get a second opinion from a different doc in a different surgery if you need to. If you had an incomplete D&C it can make you extremely ill. If you are pregnant with an IUD it can be really dangerous too.

Don't let them fob you off, it's your health not theirs at risk.

Sorry for your loss and good luck with getting an appointment somewhere! Xxx

Ugh! I will see the doc ASAP. I feel angry that they are taking these risks by not seeing me.

I still can't see my doc and I tested again with FMU and my test is just as dark,
If not darker. https://i122.photobucket.com/albums/o277/harrietthepenguin/65F2B836-385B-4542-B440-7C9893F01C57-163-000000064898F128.jpg

You are in my thoughts & prayers Hun, keep us posted when you can

I am going to say an extra prayer tonight. I hope all is well and you get some answers.

Thanks . They didn't do an ultrasound but the blood work said negative. I am relieved.

I'm glad you got the answers you needed. :)

I'm glad your bloods came back negative but if that's the case, how are the tests still showing a faint positive?

Did they just use the word Negative or did they give you a <5 number of hcg?

It is strange that they didnt give you.an actual reading yet said.negative but tests are still +ve. Have you tested again today? Xx

You said you had a bleed before getting the device put in and I was thinking maybe it could have been implantation bleeding instead of an actual cycle. If that was the case it would correlate with when u had it put in and when u had a + test. For my own sanity I would continue to test and if it got darker in the next couple of days I would demand a more proactive Dr who is going to take you seriously. On another note, a friend of mine had the device actually implant into the side of her uterus and her body thought she was pregnant so it started making the hcg

Went to ER had blood work , negative. Ultrasound showed normal ovaries and iud in properly. But, they removed IUD because it hurt. My hcg is finally 0. And now I want to TTC in a few months.

:hugs: Glad you got some answers hun x all the best
