my OPKs were blaring positives when I found out I was pregnant when my HPTs were faint, so keep it up I still see the faint lines on all your HPTs though!

OPK s usually almost always have some sort of faint line on them as there is always a little LH in our bodies. It has to be a positive opk in order for it to indicate possible pregnancy. 8dpo is still early; hopefully you will have some lines in a couple days.

OPK has to be as dark or darker to be positive, in which indicates ovulation or pregnancy or AF. Some ladies do not get positive OPKs while pregnant.

I'm pulling for you Leah. Good that you are only 8 dpo. That leaves plenty of time for that second line to darken up and stop hiding.

Opks cannot tell the difference between LH and HCG. OPKs measure a chemical subunit that is in both of these molecules. Most OPKs only detect HCG at 40 mu so your HPT will turn positive well before an OPK will if you are pregnant.
