Thanks for the links Interesting about the possibility of using cannabanoids in pediatric medicine, although I doubt that would ever happen anytime soon considering people's attitudes and misunderstanding

If marijuana affects sperm count, nobody ever told my OH that... or me for that matter as I'm pregnant to him again and we didn't TTC long for either child. I realize that everyone is different, but we *both* smoked it when TTC. I don't believe in this link between mj and decreased fertility based on my experiences, it didn't hold true for me at all. As for the link between THC and breastmilk, that is interesting, never heard that before

My OH was smoking when I got preggers too and we were were using birth control so according to my extensive research haha pot produces super sperm that bypasses condoms!

Maybe you should read your post again.. First of all you say I know, when in fact you dont know... You just 'heard'

Its bad regardless of whether it has the same ingredients as breastmilk but FOB smoked it when I fell with the twins and they are here.

There are lots of reasons for miscarriage..

But you know what I dont need to explain to everyone because in the end I'll still be wrong, right?

Well thats because you are wrong you dont know for a fact so you cant know thats the reason they miscarried, you know they miscarried but that baby could have had a chromosone problem which had nothing to do with smoking... Unless you have a medical test that proves they miscarried because of them or their OH smoking cannabis then you dont 'know'

Thats the point I am making here, you can only say you think its cos of that.

She's not being rude youngmummy94, she's just informing you that there is no way you could know that you were right as there is no way of knowing if the cannabis caused the miscarriages or if some one of the other myriad of reasons for a miscarriage caused them.

Yes and I said I know of people who have.. I was told by a doctor that it COULD have been due to that and so have others, it just seems so coincidental that as soon as it was stopped, pregnancy occured. I really think people need to get the full story on here before just jumping on them, and there are nicer ways to say things, not just YOU ARE WRONG.

I think you could tell by the that she wasn't being entirely serious when she said "you are wrong"... the doctors only said it could have been caused by that, there are plenty of other things that could have caused it. One in four pregnancies result in miscarriage so its not like its uncommon... and coincendences are just that, coincedences - correlation /= causation

Anyway, nothing wrong with smoking cannabis but most certainly it should never be around children or babies!! I don't agree with it in pregnancy either.

I think cannabis is far less evil than alcohol and would rather be around a stoned person over a drunk person any day!

For the record, alcohol, fast foods and driving sober are more dangerous than smoking a joint.
