Hi, my DD has global development delay and poss learning difficulties, she goes to a child development centre 2 days a week. Last week one of the teachers pulled me to one side and said they were going to start doing this with my DD. 3 questions , 1 has anyone else had this if so how successful was it, 2 what can I do at home to help her and 3 does this mean she has learning difficulties cause on Google it says its given to children with learning difficulties or autisum.
She doesn't talk alot, gets very distracted, often seems like she's in a world of her own and although she loves being around children and will play along side them she will not interact with them. She is one of the most loving little girl you could meet, she is always smiling and happy and loves cuddles and kisses, she is so quiet and never naughty. I was heart broken when the teacher told me that she thinks she'll have problems learning at school. Nobody has told us anymore, we know she's globally delayed but that's all.
