iPhone - Anyone getting redirected when clicking on a thread ?

Anyone had issues whilst on pc?

Last night pop up came up saying something about apple.inc wanting to open. Closed it down now my laptop has a virus . ..... Not sure if they are linked or not?

Sad to say I'm having a overload of "win an ipad" fedirects tonight, seems to be a new obe along with a Apple pop up one - and have cleared cookies so I've only ever accessed Bnb since. :(

Tonight when using the browser buffaloed posted I got it, much to my surprise-again only Bnb has ever been accessed on that browser since install

Edit: done a total clear of history and cookies 5 mins ago
And it went like this

*open empty fresh Safari
*type in Babyandbump in google search bar
*click on Babyandbump main link in google search
*babyandbump tries to load, but redirects me to I've won an apple piece of mince :grr: literally could not log in and I kept going back to the main page but it kept redirecting. My phone almost got lobbed out the window!

Autocorrect :grr:

Ps not grumbling at Babyandbump as its clearly apple orientated, I just thought I'd send some info to help xx

Exactly what I'm getting and exactly what I've done to try and solve the problem! :flower: x

Can I ask you girl's if you are closing safari too?

I am of course getting the same issues on my iphone but just want to confirm you are shutting it down prior and not just going to settings, onwards.

1. Click the home button on your iPhone to get to the home screen with all of the applications
2. Double-click the home button to bring up the application switcher tray (see https://support.apple.com/kb/HT4211)
3. Tap and hold on Safari until it jiggles, then pressing the red minus button to quit it (see https://support.apple.com/kb/ht5137)
EDIT: please quit all open applications
4. Click the home button to return to the application launcher screen
5. Tap on Settings
6. Scroll down to Safari, tapping on that, and scrolling down and tapping "Clear Cookies & Data" (see https://support.apple.com/kb/HT1677)

If you did not close down originally please follow the above instructions. If the problem persists please note what sites you have visited before the problem reoccurred.

Thanks :D

Yup that's what I did the only other site I visited was my bank  they're the only 2 sites I usually use on my mobile, my bank and BnB x

I don't use safari at all, I'm using the google chrome ap on iPhone

Please attempt shutting all open applications (will change post above) before clearing and start again.

Thanks Kelly! If others confirm closing all open applications and still receiving problems it would be helpful to let us know what pages and apps you may have opened between clearing and receiving the problem again.

:D

Wobbles...I did those steps the other day, and just had another apple pop up occurr :-/

We need to perform a test. Please turn off your device's wifi and load the site through your data plan. Let us know if that stops the redirection.

I'm posting via my iPod so I can't turn the wifi off since there's no data plan to connect with. However I'll get DH to lend me his iPhone later (he's already checked the problem is occurring on it) and see how I go :)

I usually use my data connection when Im out at work and I sill get the pop ups. Will turn it off now and clear history, close apps etc and try again x

I've been redirected to sites with viruses many times. So much so I now only use my ipad and this site. I will not go on this site on my PC!!

If you have some malware - download and run Malwarebytes. It's free and will sort you out. If you need help message me (I am an IT Consultant)

Install an anti virus - Microsoft Security Essentials it's free and very good.

Quite annoying the redirects tbh

I didn't log in on hubby's iPhone and I had him clear the cookies, close all apps and reboot the iPhone before I tried. Using the data plan I still had the same issue. All I opened was safari and then typed the address in directly (didn't want to chance a dodgy bookmark). It took a few pages but I got the 'Apple rewards' page within 5 minutes.

Try this link and let me know if the redirection stops:

It doesn't happen with every thread you click on its just every now and then x

Can you give me the url of the thread? Use your mouse to copy/paste the link so you don't open it and get redirected.

It's different threads I think but next time it pops up I'll post which thread it was x

Ok I think it's started again for me, anyone else?
