Hi, ladies!
So, I went on 500 mg per day of Metformin on Thursday, so this is my third day of the stuff. Today, I was on my final day of progesterone to induce a period (so I haven't had withdrawal from the progesterone yet). For the first time in my LOOOONG 87 day cycle, I noticed spotting with brown blood at first, then bright red as the day went on. I also started cramping slightly. I'm wearing a pad just to catch the spotting, but I'm not sure I should count it as CD1 yet.
Since my progesterone hasn't dropped in my system yet, could this be from just 3 fulls days of my metormin? Is this a sign that it's working? I was REALLY excited to see that spotting today!!! It's the first blood of any kind I've had ALL during this monstrously long cycle.
Did metformin start working for YOU that quickly? I'm shocked that I started bleeding//spotting//cramping before my progesterone was done.
