Is there any mummy's to be over 35 on the forum!!!

aint it great just how many ladies our young age are out their lol

Hi I am 35 (will be 36 next month eek!) and I am expecting my 4th. The hospital haven't made me feel old thankfully :) x

I am 35 and 29 weeks with a 10 year old! I have been made to feel more fat than old I would say, but they did tick the old box in my yellow book so a nice mix of fat AND old. Makes me feel well lush.

36, almost 37 when LO arrives and it's my first too.

I will be 35 in November & have 17 & 7 year old Sons ~ With a Daughter Due in December :cloud9:

I have found that with each pregnancy I suffer that little bit more with various complaints ~ But.....Is that my age, or the fact its my 3rd :winkwink:

Hi can I join in?
I just turned 35 at the end of August. This is my 1st baby and he's due around December 21st.
Still feel like I did when I was 25 - thankfully!!
:)

1st time mummy to be at 39.. sooo looking forward to seeing him in my arms, i had an ectopic 18yrs ago so this is truly a miracle baby xxx

Hi, I'm 37 and having my 3rd son. It's my 5th pregnancy; but so far so good! My sons are 9 and 12 so I feel like I'm starting all over again. The good thing is I'll have built-in helpers around the house, but the bad thing is I spent the last almost 13 years of my life raising children, and now that I'm going to grad school and planning on having a good career, I get pregnant again. I'm super broke and living on student loans! So I'm the opposite of the 30-something women who has her life together and a good career . Ah well, it will be beautiful and worth it, I know!

Congratulations to all you ladies on your new babies-in-making!

Good to see more young age mummys out there!!!

Well I would like to say a big congratulation to all you first time young age mummys, hold on to your seats your in for such a ride lol

And congratulations also to us on our 2,3,4,5,6!!!! Here we go again lolxx

Hi I am 35 (will be 36 next month eek!) and I am expecting my 4th. The hospital haven't made me feel old thankfully :) x

The hospital/doctors have been really good with me too actually.

To begin with I found myself constantly almost apologising for my age saying things like 'well at my age...' and without exception I've had the response of 'what age..?'

Everything I'd seen previously on the internet suggested that once you get to your mid-thirties you're kind of past it, especially first-timers like me.

Is clearly not the case though as all you lovely ladies are proving :) x

Hope you guys don't mind me bouncing back to second tri. I'm 38 years young. This baby willl be my 4th child. 19 boy, 18 boy, 10 girl. This pregnacy is a lot different from the other three, but everything is going well.

My MW has been fine about it too - no comments on my age apart from when we were discussing chromosonal testing. In fact my age simply hasnt been regarded as an issue in anyway at all.

However I was at home with MS in 1st tri watching a programme on women trying to get pregnant and ALL the Drs seemed to be telling these women was that "well after 35 you may as well give up, your chances are so small, have you thought about adoption?" I was so angry I almost threw something at the telly! :growlmad: Stupid inaccurate thing to say!!

OMG so insensitive and definately inaccurate!!

If only we were all there to challenge those stupid doctors. I would love to see their faces when I told them it took me and my OH 6 weeks ... x

Wonder what the medics would think of us then,me and husband said on our wedding anniversary (22nd May) we would try for baby no3,the following week I conceived and we only done it twice as hubby works abroad alot for work,I can even give them the 2 dates lol,and im 37 will be 38 on Feb10th and this is my 3rd all conceived in my 30's

Well my first two didn make it, but I have concieved 3 times in a year. And the longest it took us was 3 months. So much for that nonsense then. Honestly, the programme (oh I wish I could remember what it was called but these days I can barely remember my own name) really made these women feel as though they were wasting their time trying to conceive naturally - Grrrrr :growlmad:

I am 36 and still be when bump is born .... third pregnancy for me.

I'm 36 (will be 37 when this lo is born). I've got 2 boys already - 7 and 12yrs, and this time it's a little girl.

Feels loads different this time since I did it in my 20's! I'm soooooo knackered lol

Great thread btw

I'm 36 and this is my third. My daughter is 15 and my son will be turning 12 when this LO arrives.

hi, I am 37 and when the baby is here it might coincide with my 38th birthday. My doc says I am doing great. The baby is developing and all is fine. I don't know the gender yet. I am 15 weeks plus 3 days.

But I feel sooooo crappy. I am still tired - I force myself to wake up and get along with my daily routines. I care for nothing but to lay down on my bed. In my head I build castles and do all kinds of things but physically I am disabled. I force myself to the gym and cant go more than once a week, prior to the pregnancy I went 5 times a week and worked from 9a to 8 pm. I cant eat much, I vomit atleast twice daily... Momentarily I can not say that I am enjoying being pregnant. I am really counting days when this will be over. Still, dont get me wrong I love the baby and am excited as hell.

:)
