Is there any mummy's to be over 35 on the forum!!!

First time mom at 35 here :) very happy! I have had a smooth pregnancy except for spotting early on. Energy is great, only occasionally do I get uncomfortable.

hi, I am 37 and when the baby is here it might coincide with my 38th birthday. My doc says I am doing great. The baby is developing and all is fine. I don't know the gender yet. I am 15 weeks plus 3 days.

But I feel sooooo crappy. I am still tired - I force myself to wake up and get along with my daily routines. I care for nothing but to lay down on my bed. In my head I build castles and do all kinds of things but physically I am disabled. I force myself to the gym and cant go more than once a week, prior to the pregnancy I went 5 times a week and worked from 9a to 8 pm. I cant eat much, I vomit atleast twice daily... Momentarily I can not say that I am enjoying being pregnant. I am really counting days when this will be over. Still, dont get me wrong I love the baby and am excited as hell.

:)

Its hard when its so exhausting isnt it - I am in awe you still manage the gym once a week - I have a completely unused pregnancy swimming costume here and still waiting to feel enough energy either before or after work to use it. Now that the kids are back at school the pool should be emptier in the mornings but can I manage it - can I hell.

I can say I do have more energy that at 15 weeks and previously - I can do full days at work and more and still feel okay - sadly at the moment im sleeping badly so that is zapping me but im SOOOOOO much better than 1st or early 2nd tri .

Hang on in there hon - I didnt enjoy it at all for about 16-17 weeks but after that, especially once you can feel the baby it all seems so much better!

Thanks Mizze for your encouragement...!
Looking forward to improvement.

Have a good day!

Im 42 and this is my 7th pregnancy, two live babies, 16 & 12, with number three safe and sound kicking away nicley!

Wow had forgotten about this thread and I happy to see there are lots of us around, congratulations to those of you about to have your first baby its utterly incredible.

I wish that I had started sooner I have to say... i never ever wanted kids and then i literally woke up one morning and my first thought was i have to have a baby and it consumed me since then.. i am so thankful that it happened because to miss out on being a parent is to hard to imagine now. I wish I had started sooner as I would like to have 3 kids I think but I am not sure I can do it again.

My MS has gone for the most part but still feeling pretty tired and exhausted most of the time.. hoping I get some more energy at some point soon.

Hope your all doing well.

Hi

I'm 36, will be 37 in 15 days :sad2:!! this will be my first baby (fingers crossed). I didn't want children either then woke up one day and desperately wanted to have a baby! Luckily DH felt the same way and here we are!!

Hi comicwife, I'm 34 will be 35 just after baby is born. This will be my 4th.
I didn't think i was an older mum until one of the ladies at my daughters school said to me " god just think when you bring this little one to school you will be the oldest mum in the play ground " bloody charming.

I had my first baby at 16 :dohh: then another one at 22 another at 28 and this one 34. I can honestly say i was and am so much more relaxed with these last two. I seem to have more time and think things through more. I have loved having every one of my children but i am more settled in myself and home life now which i think makes a difference. At my age i don't feel like i have to prove i can do it anymore. lol :hugs::hugs::hugs:

My mum has a little saying which i think is quite funny, she says " if it suits the wearer bugger the starer " In other words if you dont like what you see don't look lol :hugs::hugs::hugs:
