We are ttc#3 , not to positive it will happen for us this month, weve had a poorly dd and then I have been ill last 2 days so we havent had chance to bd on any of our fertile dates though we managed to get a bit of in day before , so Testing day for us will be 11th July if doesnt show beforehand! Though I swear im feeling her letting me know she is coming and early this month

Justfluffy It doesn't sound like it's working for you. However some people don't have as strong of a surge and don't get a pos opk even testing 2x's a day. Depending on your insurance and funds I would wait until CD35 to call the doctor, then they can put you on something to start. (that was my first month, I didn't even have to go back in).

I never got a stinkin' smiley!! It's so frustrating!

Justfluffy It doesn't sound like it's working for you. However some people don't have as strong of a surge and don't get a pos opk even testing 2x's a day. Depending on your insurance and funds I would wait until CD35 to call the doctor, then they can put you on something to start. (that was my first month, I didn't even have to go back in).

I seriously think I O'd Monday. I had really bad pain that day. I tested and it was negative. They're always negative. With the smiley's you will either get a smiley face or a circle. I also use the internet cheapies, but never even get a faint line. I may try temping next month.

Well i believe i am 10dpo today. I usually temp but my thermometer broke half way during my cycle and i never got another one. If i had to guess i O'd CD16. We BD on CD14 and 16. I hope i did enough. I used a FRER yesterday and it was a BFN. My boobs hurt, but i've had that before AF.

It's a tough journey. I thought it would get us pregnant the first round but I didn't even O. So, I know exactly how you feel. Keep your head up, nothing in life is easy. It's funny how for so long we avoided pregnancy and when you are finally ready it doesn't happen nearly as easy as you thought it would.

Yeah, I hear ya! I was so against having kids at first, and now that I want them, I want them now! It's comforting for me to know you didn't O your first cycle of Clomid either, what did the doctor do? Do you O now?

Yes I do. First round 50mg..., then the last 5 yes i did.
Have they run any test yet?

No tests yet. I am just going to my OB for now, not a fertility specialist so I wonder if that's why? I guess we will just see what happens next cycle and go from there. Although I AM completely opposed to upping my dosage every time. If I don't O next cycle and he recommends that I will probably insist on some kind of test.

I would definately ask for a cd21 test next month, for progestrone.

Are they testing your progestrone? That will let you know if infact you O'd not everyone gets a strong enough LH surge to be detected. If you O'd Monday you should have had a smiley Saturday or Sunday.

Guess what?!?! So, after talking to my OB yesterday, I decided to give up on this cycle, but still take my OPK once a day, in the morning. Well, I woke up today (CD22) and look what I saw! A SMILEY FACE!!! I couldn't believe it! It's a little weird though because on the actual strip it doesn't show two lines, just the control line, and a big smudge. Has anyone else seen this? It says on the box not to base the result on the strip alone, but it kinda throws me a bit... I am hoping it is not a false positive! If it was, that would be a cruel cruel joke... My and the DH haven't since Sunday! Yikes!!! I need to get busy today and tomorrow, hopes it's not too late!

Danielle, can you change my test date from the 7th to the 13th please? Thanks!

You started clomid late so your O was probably late. Follow the SMEP, dtd tonight tomorrow and the next night, skip a night and dtd again the next night.

Is there any way you can double check with another opk stick? I know that LH changes by the HOUR sometimes and you might not get the same result - but I hate to say that that stick looks faulty to me I know it says to not look at the stick however it looks like the dye didn't go across right

That's what I was thinking too! I plan to take another at lunch time (to give my pee time to recharge LOL). Hoping for the same result.

Good luck sweets! Have everything crossed you get another smiley - however, even if you don't I'd still cover your bases the next few days just in case - those sticks can go from + to - within a few hours and you don't want to miss the eggy!

That's what I was thinking too! I plan to take another at lunch time (to give my pee time to recharge LOL). Hoping for the same result.

I just googled in and looked at a few answers from there and I wasn't able to find anything that said it mattered what the lines inside were like. To be honest.....I've never even thought to look at that We've been trying for over 2 years. GL, let us know the lunch results.

The stick that you had posted with the smudge i've had before. I use them sticks for my CBFM. I've had plenty of smudges that work itself out after a few minutes. I never paid any attention to it. I figured the monitor would know what was what. I'd take it as a positive and just BD next 3 days!

im a little behind, hows everyone doing????

I've had some weird things going on with me yesterday:
5dpo- thick light yellow in color cm in am, mild little cramps thoughout the day on left side near hip bone, very watery cm white, face breaking out (nothing new) sleepy and one more!! I went to bed at 8:30 or so woke up at 11:30 to get DH off the couch lol and he came in and looked at me and said "what's wrong baby??' I said "nothing, why" he said that my eyes were very very puffy and swollen looking, I didnt pay ny attention and went downstairs to talk to my sister, she said the same thing! like I had been crying for hours! weird. sorry sooo long

I've seen this before too I think this article is referring more to the darkness/lightness of lines per individual person during their cycle moreso that whether the line is defined or if it looks like it is smudged iykwim?
