June...here we come!!!

Sarah, hopefully you're like Erin and beaglemom and will be ready to trigger after that first ultrasound. I went for my ultrasound on like CD10 or whatever it was, my follies were never ready so they'd have me come back 2 days later... 2 days later they still weren't big enough, so I'd go 2 days later again... It was annoying. The last monitored cycle I did, even the 3rd try they weren't ready but I was out of covered ultrasounds and I would've had to pay like $500 for another one, so they told me to just do the trigger when I got a positive OPK. I don't know why I was always so late with mine, but I know that my situation was unusual. So I hope for your sake that you're ready to go after that first one!!! Lol.

Happy Birthday Floridasian!! I hope you are having an excellent day! :cake:

MissStacy, thank you...so funny you woke up DH! Hope you were experiencing some O pains...time to BD! :)

Erin, I am still shocked! I know we discussed twins back in November and I would have never believed that I would ever get twins. I still keep checking my ultrasound pics to make sure it wasn't a dream! I am hoping both of your embryos stick too...I need a buddy on this wild journey :)

Sarah, I think the tech thought they were fraternal. They have their own sacs and aren't too close together. I hope to get another scan soon and find out more news. ttc is tough but it is definitely rewarding and this was worth the wait. I know you are going to get your bfp soon too!

Michelle, Thanks! I thought I heard the tech wrong when she told me there was two...I must have sounded crazy when I asked her a million times if it was true! It can and will happen...you will get your bfp!

Thanks Floridasian, Beaglemom, Allison and Moni!

Thanks again girls for letting me post some updates here...I love following along and can't wait to see each of you get your bfp! :)

Just a quick update - testing tomorrow morning at 12DPO and totally freaking out! :headspin:

Was excited this morning when my temp rose again (not much, only 0.04, but a rise is a rise!), but trying to bring myself back to reality. My temp could drop in the morning and AF could show, what I'm feeling could unknowingly be side effects of Clomid or all totally in my head!

Either way, I'm just happy to finally be ovulating!

Thanks everyone for your warm birthday wishes! DH and I had a nice dinner at a romantic Italian restaurant and we even had tiramisu! Yum!! :)

I decided not to take progesterone this cycle unless I get a BFP. I'll be testing early and get on it as soon as I test positive. Honestly though I don't think my progesterone is low.

When I put my temp in this morning FF gave me dotted cross hairs and said I o'ed on CD9. I then changed the detection method to research and it took away my cross hairs. We'll see what happens tomorrow.

So I'm up late and decided to order my cbopk and then I see this conceive plus lubricant. Apparently it is supposed to be better than preseed because it has calcium and magnesium to help sperm live longer. Anyone heard of this? I'm soo interested!

You guys are so sweet, Floridasian and Miss Stacy...I'm glad I my cheery disposition is rubbing off on you today. Lord knows I don't always have it, but I'm so blessed to have ALL you ladies to cry AND smile with!!

Just finished reading through the last few pages...

Suzy...so good to see you, girl! I know how it is...when I was without my laptop I didn't post much because I hate picking at my iPad I need a full keyboard! So this is going to be your first month of Clomid too? We'll be in it together!! Are you doing monitored, trigger, IUI and all that jazz?

BeagleSarah-- ;) So excited for the possibilities ahead of your family with your husband's work opportunities opening up. That is so great. It must give you such a sense of everything falling into place. Although everything sounds very positive, I would thing that even if he doesn't end up landing this particular job, his company has taken not of his great work ethic and will give him a chance to move up sooner rather than later!

JCM...your hot flash story had me in stitches. Sorry I know it wasn't funny but it was a funny mental image...you laying there naked with all the fans on. I really should consider karma as I laugh about this as I will be starting Clomid myself soon. Is this your first day to be taking it? I'll be a couple weeks behind you but we can be buddies all the same!

Erin, you posted while I was writing so editing this to include you. Thanks for the encouragement. I'm hoping it's just the boost we need. When you say low dose...wasn't it less than normal? I thought I was remembering someone on 25...was that you? I asked the nurse what the dosage would be, and she said 50 was the lowest and usually what people were started on. So not sure if I'm making things up in my head.

Sending hugs out to everyone else I didn't have something particularly to respond to!

Hi Sarah!! :) I'm starting Clomid today! It's not monitered for now. The dr prescribed Clomid for 4 cycles. If that doesn't work out, we're going back and he'll refer to a specialist. How are you doing? Do you think AF is on her way?

SarahLou, you may have some good signs going on...good luck!

SarahOK - very excited for you...no reason to compare you new path with our failures. Each fail brings us close to a success & you are starting the road to success! I hope the IUI clomid works for you...one suggestion, take your clomid before bed. Sometimes it helps you sleep through your symptoms. Also, if you have a melt down day, blame it on the clomid. It happened to me & Erin. I only wish success to everyone on here...each of us will have our moment.

Thanks for the advice on Clomid Beagle. I'm starting today and will take it at night instead of in the morning. I've read some reviews and may women experience side effects. So I prefer to sleep through them. I just hope I don't wake up tomorrow feeling nauscious or anything like that. Thanks for the tip!

Hi girls! I have been out of town for close to a week but I wanted to catch up and check in and see how everyone was doing.

My little update. Today was my first ultrasound, I was excited and a bit nervous. Well I got the biggest surprise when the tech told me there was two...I am having twins! Both babies are doing great and are measuring on track with my accurate FF information. Super excited right now :)

Congratulations savvy!!! It's so good to hear from you again and you're having twins! How have you been? I bet you're happy and excited about all this. Wishing you all the best and a great pregnancy honey

Happy birthday floridasian! This is going to be a great yaer!

Thank you! I am very excited, I always dreamed of having twins!

Good luck to you this cycle, looks like you have a great plan this month! :flower:

Michelle I ordered conceive plus for this cycle. I have not used it yet. I also read it is less sticky. My husband says sometimes the pressed gets sticky if air hits it.

My temp remains high so tested with FRER 6 days early test... BFN at 12DPO.

So now I am just waiting for AF, assuming she will show in the next day or two.

A positive may not show this early. Just keep hoping.

I start my injections again tonight but I forgot to get them out of the fridge. I hope I remember when I get home. They need time to get to room temp before I inject at 8 or they will bruise worse & hurt more.

I am so ready for the week to be over! I am so excited for Monday...I hope to see at least 2 eggs developing strong.

Fx for you girl, good luck tonight!

Hello ladies!

Savvy, that's awesome that they can tell they are probably fraternal. Either way would be cool, but I think if it were me (as a twin) I would prefer to be fraternal just because they have more individuality (obviously not sharing the same DNA). That "identical twin connection" might be cool, but I think I'd prefer to be different. Either way, it's such a blessing!

Amy, sorry you're having a rough morning. It really is super early to be feeling like you're out because of a negative. But I know it's discouraging to see that temp drop at all. But like you said, it's great that you're ovulating! Hugs!

Floridasian, sounds like a wonderful birthday with your hubby! Mmmm...tiramisu!! Yum! I got some answers about the progesterone at my RE appt. I was worried that my progesterone might be too low (causing me to have luteal phase defect and losing pregnancies, though I have never gotten a BFP), so I asked him about it. He showed me a chart of progesterone throughout the cycle, and said that it could vary wildly from day to day, even depending on time of day. So that is why even though my number seemed low in my CD21 test, it was nothing to worry about. It was high enough to confirm ovulation and that was all they were concerned about. I know you said you had never been tested, but since you were discussing progesterone, I thought I'd share that.

Michelle, never used conceive plus...you'll have to let us know how it works for you.

Suzy, I'm excited to hear about your Clomid journey. I'll be starting in about a week and a half I guess. I'm doing monitoring and all that jazz, so I'll let you know how that is in case you end up having to go on to that. Hopefully you'll get your BFP in these 4 unmonitored cycles though! You asked whether I thought AF was on the way. Not really sure...I'm a week into the TWW now and not having any symptoms of anything. Though I've never gotten a BFP even when I've had symptoms...so I'm starting to think they're mostly psychological. I've never had really sore boob or the shooting nipple pain people discuss, so if those start up, I might get excited. But mostly I'm handling the TWW very well just because I have so much hope for the next few cycles of Clomid/IUI.

Beagle, I was thinking about your injection...if you forget to take it out of the fridge, could you immerse it in a cup of warm (not hot) water to get it to room temp? That's how I cheat when baking and eggs are supposed to be at room temp but I forget to take them out of the fridge. LOL Excited to hear about your follies Monday. Keeping fingers crossed.

Hi Erin and everyone else! Happy Friday!
