June & July 2020 Pearls & Rubies!

Lisa isnt it crazy to think you could go from 2 boys to 4, or going from only doing boy stuff to having 2 girls?? So fun!

Nice lines wanna!

Lisa wow this is so huge! I can understand why you're in shock, it's a big difference if you don't expect it (and probably also if you think you do...). But I'm so happy for you that you have 2 strong hearbeats.

Wanna those lines look good!

I am very worried although my lines keep progressing and everything feels fine. My temperature went consistently down in the past few days, so I started taking progesterone just in case.

Great lines Dixie!!

lisa, I haven’t called about an appointment yet. It’s complicated where we live. I think I will call in a couple weeks when my friend who’s visiting us leaves (I don’t plan on telling her yet).

So my hcg didn't look good and my ob's nurse said I was miscarrying and they would call me back. That was over 2 weeks ago and they haven't called. I had scheduled an appt with the only on group in the town I'm moving to when I first found out I was pregnant and never cancelled it so I went in knowing they said would do an ultrasound. As of right now we have a baby with a heartbeat. Baby is measuring a week behind so I don't know if it's looking good yet. They scheduled an appt with a hematologist and another sonogram, and will schedule me with a maternal fetal specialist (I'm high risk). I don't feel like the new ob is one I would like to stick with so I don't know what I'll do yet.

Baby is supposed to be 7+2, but measured 6+2

@Heather.1987 its so insane to think about! The last two days I've woken up like holy guac this isn't a dream. How are you doing?

@Nima yeah I still can't believe it. Now I feel twice as worried though lol especially since this automatically makes me high risk. I stopped taking tests and everything because I figured there was no point in worrying. I hate to say trust your body because I deffinately understand not trusting it! But stress isn't good. When do you have an appointment? (Sorry if you've already said my memory is horrid!)

@Livvy are you UK? I know many moms on here are. I'll keep my fingers and toes crossed for you. I totally understand not wanting to tell people.

@blessedmomma is it possible at all you ovulated later than you thought? I know mine are twins but they only measured 6w4d on Thursday when we were supposed to be 7w1d. You've got a heartbeat though and that's amazing! A good team you trust is imperative to yours and babies wellbeing, I hope you find someone you mesh with and does an amazing job! Dont forget you can always change! I changed OB's with my last at 20ish weeks and it was the best choice I made!

I really hope to gather the strength to stop testing and temping but at the moment I just can't, I'm so worried. Appointment is on the 21st, so still a while to wait. Good thing I have a very intense full time job, so not much time to drive myself crazy...

Blessed_ I think it’s a great sign you saw a baby with a heartbeat... it could very well be that you ovulated later... if I wasn’t testing for O this month, I wouldn’t have known that’s ovulated on cycle day 21!!!

Nima, totally on the same page with the worrying... everytime I feel something down there, I run to the washroom hoping not to see red... and because there’s nothing else I can do to make sure the baby is ok, I even took a test today at 17DPO.. the line seems to be the same as 14 DPO but the control line is lighter ... I don’t know what that means... should the test line be darker than this for 17DPO???

Blessed! Congrats on a baby with a heartbeat!!! I pray this baby makes it and is healthy too!! Glad to have you back in the group! Did they change your due date?

Nausea is really hitting me hard already. I never actually threw up with any of my pregnancies so I cant say its terrible.....but it sucks. This time it's the worst on the middle of the night. I cant sleep I feel so sick. But again, I guess that means baby is growing. But I also worry EVERY SINGLE TIME that when I wipe I'll see blood. I'm so glad this is my last. I'm so over pregnancy and hope this baby sticks!

Hi :) I've havnt been on here a few years. I'm about 6 weeks with my 4th bub (me and my OH first together ♥️) cautiously popping into this group. I'm not sure my DD yet either end of June or start of July. Had my betas done last week I wouldve been just over 5 weeks at 1150. Have dating scan in 5 days. So nervous and excited:)

This just means its detected lots of hcg and the test line has stolen most of the dye! It's a good thing!!

@wanna_baby I think it could be that the urine sample was less concentrated.
Fingers crossed for healthy babies and less stress <3

When I had my first scan I only measured 6+1 when I was supposed to be 7+1, she said it really doesn’t matter as the measurements aren’t accurate this early due to baby being SO small you can’t get an accurate measurement, sure enough a week later at 8+1 baby measured 8+4 and has stayed a few days ahead ever since!

Yes I hope that it was just the urine was diluted ....

Welcome MiissMuffet!!!

@heather, although being sick is no fun, it is a relief knowing it’s because your body is changing... I still have no symptoms.... come to think of it I don’t think I had any with my first two either...
just can’t wait till these next 2 weeks to go quickly so I can have a scan.....

Welcome miiss! I'll add you to july 1st and if it changes let me know!

How do you girls get around the "are you pregnant" questions. I'm bad at lying. So sometimes I just reply with "meh"

Thanks ladies! I'm cautiously excited. I've seen miraculous things happen in my pregnancies. I'm hoping and praying for that this time!

Lisa- with my last baby i switched dr's at 37 weeks! I definitely don't feel obligated to stay with this guy. It just sucks that the practice and hospital is only 6 minutes away from the house we are building. The next city over I'll have to drive about 30-45 minutes for appts and the hospital. Since I'm high risk I'll be going in to see the dr and two specialists every month and forget about the end when you're going in all the time. I'll have a few appts a week. It's a small town so there are no other ob groups there. It would be very convenient. I just don't know if this guy was worth it. Pretty arrogant dr which doesn't sit well with me.

Heather- according to the sonogram, he wrote on the picture a due date of 6-23.

I don't usually o late. If anything it's early. BUT, after charting for the last 10 years I didn't the last two months. So nothing could be certain, but I know my body well enough that i had my usual symptoms around my usual o time. Anything is possible though. I wasn't temping.

Welcome missmuffet!

@Nima were appointment buddies. My next is on the 21st. How are you doing?

Blessed - I totally understand the driving thing. My office is about 20 minutes away and the hospital I want to deliver at is about 30-45 minutes away depending on traffic. But they have the best nicu in the city so I would rather deliver there if needed. Plus that's where I had my last and they were amazing.

Afm - drs office called and told me all my blood work looked great and even my iron was good I have a history of low iron so I was concerned about that since my prenatals apparently dont have any in them (just found that out lol) the only thing is I apparently have a bladder infection but I have no symptoms! Other than having to pee a lot which I just assumed was the mass amount of water I've been drinking combined with twins pushing on my bladder. I feel so ridiculous not knowing. ](*,)

Lisa at least you had no symptoms! I have chronic utis and they suck! Very painful!
