Kate McCann releasing a book...

And who would carry a 4 year old child like that? Across the arms? Holding them up to the shoulder makes alot more sense. It's making me feel a little bit sick thinking about it but the sighting by Jane Tanner was constantly inconsistent where are the people who saw the "other man" didn't seem to change their story and obviously they walked past him and were able to describe so much more

They were saying, that Jane Tanner said the man carrying the girl had her head in his left arm, but if an abductor took her from bed, her head would be in the right arm. If she thought it was maddie, why did she not say anything to anyone?

And to be honest if I'd seen anyone carrying a child like that at that time of night I'd be instantly suspicious.

That wasn't the only sighting:

https://www.mccannfiles.com/id162.html

Creeps me out.

I've heard of that sighting but never read it in full. Wow. I scrolled down and saw Jane Tanner's confused descriptions. She goes from a White Caucasian man to a Mediterranean man in the space of a few months

And to be honest if I'd seen anyone carrying a child like that at that time of night I'd be instantly suspicious.

To be fair, in a holiday resort, it probably isnt that uncommon, but I think I'd notice too, especially as it wasnt a family together having a meal etc, just a man on his own x

There was a window at the back of the apartments that wasn't visible to them from the restaurant which was also open although the only fingerprints found on it were Kate's

surely anyone seen wearing gloves in that climate would draw attention to themselves?

Could've had them in their pocket and popped them on to get through the window? explains why no fingerprints are found.. if somebody forced entry night before they was bound to of thought everything through before hand..

I guess so, but would be more difficult taking them off while holding an almost 4 year old girl. But then if no1 noticed a man carrying a child, theyre not going to notice a man wearing gloves i suppose! x

I doubt in the dark aswell they wouldnt notice it, exspesh when the attention would be to what he is carrying xx

All this actually makes for some disturbing reading. It's creeping me out so much that now I can't sleep.

I feel exactly the same way. Most bizarre stuff I've ever read. I can't get my head around how a little girl can just disappear off the face of the Earth. And to think of Gerry Mccan walking down a street holding her.. where was he going? What the hell happened that night. Ugh.

I don't know what's worse. Imagining some stranger sneaking into the room, snatching her and running off or imagining her own father carrying her away after something awful had happened to her. It's hard to get your head around. She was such a beautiful little girl. Like I say though, people don't just disappear. If that was Gerry McCann walking towards the beach that night then there is only really one conclusion

Both thoughts make my stomach churn. Though saying that, what ever happened to Gerry's clothes he was wearing that night? Were they tested, were the dogs set on them, were they washed or did they just disappear too..? Off to find an answer..

“The McCanns hid the body on the beach”

Gonçalo Amaral was the first inspector who coordinated the search for Madeleine, the girl who disappeared in Praia da Luz on 3rd May 2007. In October 2007, after having considered the girl’s parents Kate and Gerry McCann, arguidos, of having hidden their daughter’s body, he was removed from the investigation. In July 2008 he decided to leave the police force in order to narrate his version of the events. The result is Maddie, the truth if the lie, published by Esquilo.

Q: According to you, what happened on 3rd May 2007?

R: Madeleine McCann died in an accidental manner upon falling behind the sofa in the apartment. This sofa had been moved when the disappearance was announced. I think that someone found the body, hid it, cleaned everything and moved the sofa against the window.

Q: Who?

R:Madeleine’s parents

Q:Upon what basis do you make this statement?

R:The dogs provided by the British police discovered cadaver odour behind the sofa and in the parents’ room. Also on the little girl’s cuddly toy, on Kate’s clothing and in the cupboard and on the keys of the car that they hired later.

Q: How did they hide the body without anyone seeing them?

R: They were seen! An Irish family saw a man pass carrying a child at 22.05, heading for the beach. They later identified the child as Maddie. But they did not realise that the man they had seen was Gerry until they saw the McCanns arriving in the UK on TV.

Q: What happened?

R: The manner in which Gerry was carrying one of the twins and his way of walking were identical to what they had seen that night.

Q: But, 22.05 was when Kate said that the girl had disappeared and Gerry was with her...

R:The times are not clear. The only thing that is sure is that the McCanns contacted the National Guard at 22.40. So, before then, Gerry had time to hide the girl’s body on the beach.

Q: And nobody saw the body there? During the night they were already searching for the girl.

R: Yes, but they were looking for a living child, not a dead child. Furthermore, I am not saying that the body remained on the beach all of the time. It is clear that the first thing was to remove the body from the apartment. Afterwards they could find other solutions to hide it. Witnesses from the National Guard said that they had seen the McCanns go towards the beach twice very early in the morning. They surely found a better place quickly.

Q: How do you explain that the dogs found cadaver odour in the McCanns’ car? They rented it 24 days after the disappearance.

R: I was investigating that when I was removed from the case.

Q: Do you think that they preserved the body in a freezer for all of this time? Where?

R: There is a journalist who claims to have seen the McCanns enter an apartment block near to the beach, during the month of June.... But we do not know what floor of the block they went to. It is a building for tourists and many people go in and out.

Q: And why did the dogs not detect cadaver odour on Gerry McCann’s clothing?

R: Do you know what clothing Gerry was wearing that night? I still do not know

Q: Is there any more information that hasn’t been provided?

R: We asked the British police for reports about the couple, whether they had a nanny in the UK, if they had any problems at work...we never received these replies.

Q: Why not? Do you believe the McCanns have high level connections?

R: I don’t know. I do not want to comment on this, but it is curious how the British Prime Minister, Gordon Brown, showed his support for the couple even after they were declared arguidos.

very, the sofa thing would tie in with the blood too

Ugh. So horrible. He makes a lot of sense though. Body hidden on the beach, later transported using the hire car the cadaver dog picked up the scent in. Like he said, at the time they were looking for a living child so wouldn't have automatically been searching possible burial grounds. Perhaps that's why they concocted the story of abduction, to get people out looking for someone who might have het, to give them time to move her body before the search began on looking at the possibility she may be dead

Reading that makes my spine shiver

you would have thought someone would have noticed him burying her on the bech though would you, unless he went somewhere realy remote but that wold have meant more time and if it was around 0pm then he didnt have that time x

It could of been anywhere, in a remote part of the beach, in a little cave or something. There is absolutely nothing on what Gerry Mccan was wearing that night and what happened to his clothes. Ugh. I think I've been convinced now.

Who was the person to check on them after Gerry? Was it the guy who just peeked in? Cause I think Kate was the next person after that.

As much as I don't really like either of them, I totally dislike Gerry McCann. He has far too much to say and is always tripping himself up. He even looks creepy

The other guy was after Gerry, but he apparently only saw the twins as he didn't go right in. Then it was Kate.
