Hello ladies and welcome to the new ladies! Happy to have you. The more the merrier! Eleanor I hope things are progressing well for you.

Afm- went on a walk last night and had some pretty crazy hip pain but that all went away. I feel baby girl super low so that's a good step. I see my specialist and my ob tomorrow so I will have more information I hope tomorrow. Getting anxious!

Had my 38 week appointment and irritated I wasn't able to get checked by my dr. My midwife is a lot more easy going so I wish I had seen her today. My worries are eased at least at the sudden position my little booger is in, I'm definitely feeling her butt in my upper stomach and she's head down which is great because I got paranoid she suddenly became breech or something.

Wish I knew if I'm dilated any further. I've been steady bouncing on my little ball, squats, and walking to try and calm my impatience but it's so hard!!!!

Ladies, I'm due in hospital on Friday for a c section at 39 weeks pregnant. I am on labour watch, but to avoid it as a c section is the safest option for us now. I was up for 4 hours Sunday into Monday with very irregular contractions. I had a midwife appointment on the Monday morning and baby isn't engaged so wasn't labour and midwife said it's likely they would continue all week due to my big bump. I can't believe I only have 3 nights, but still feel like I can't cope that long!

So ive been trying this whole walking thing to try to get labour going lol.. Well i head out every night and by the time i get half way i really have to go #2. Like squeezing my bum have to go.. But i can't run back home because it makes it worse.. And tonight while trying to hold it, i started getting contractions which made it even harder. Haha dont get me wrong.. I held it. But for frigg sakes can nothing be on my side hah.. I just want to walk this baby out

I feel babys bum as well. And I think it hurtd like heck. I don't know what she's doing in there but I get bad pains when it gets hard and I can feel her to one side of my belly. Always my left side

One bump- yay for friday!!! Can't wait to see pics of your lo. Good luck I am sure you will do great. I am having my section next friday and I am nervous as hell. That is unless she comes prior to then.

Mississippi - sorry to lol but that's a little funny. Same thing happens to me sometimes.

I have my 39 wk appt tomorrow. I think I will probably get a cervical check. I've declined them so far this pregnancy, so I'm kind of nervous. I will probably also need to have my gbs swab redone as I'd had it done early due to thinking I'd go preterm! Obviously that didn't happen though.

Mississippi, that's a good sign baby is getting lower happens to me too lol is quite an awful feeling though.

I've now starting daily monitoring at the hospital due to high BP baby was perfect on the monitors this morning so that is good. No signs of anything happening though.

Same here! My LO loves to snuggle in my side and it does hurt when it gets hard plus a full bladder ouch.

My baby hurts so much every time they move. It's possibly the best pain I've ever felt ;-)

Ditto with the baby movements hurting, sometimes I think i'm about to have a full clown contraction and its always the baby moving into a side pocket or something.

I do still have some plug coming away this morning but no period pains yet today, i'm not expecting it to come to much anyway, just hoping that it's all good signs towards a natural birth!

Me too... he likes the right side the best... I can always feel his butt and back. Sometimes he presses it out. His newest thing is burrow into my cervix. That is the most shocking and painful thing I've felt in pregnancy so far. It's really intense and hard to get used to.

I had an appointment yesterday and I declined my cevical check. Last time it made my uterus cramp like a b****, and I was only 1/2 cm anyway. Next appointment at 39+5 (next Tuesday).

Hi ladies, just to update I had my baby at 12.21pm today, our yellow bump turned pink . The pessary irritated my uterus so I had a lot of pressure from 5pm yesterday (pessary in at 1.30pm), I had contractions from 10pm onwards which only dilated me to 2cm (I was 1cm at the start of the induction) by 3am, it was very disheartening and made for a sleepless night. A little after 11 DH arrived at the hospital just as active labour started, labour was 1 hour 1 minutes long, once it got going it really got going! Home now . Good luck everyone, sending you all my spare labour dust!

Congrats Eleanor!

Still no news my end...lost more of my plug this morning. Got another sweep tomorrow morning. Fingers crossed that does something as I really really really don't want to be induced on Friday.

Congratulations Eleanor!!

I had very loose bowels this morning, and have felt period pain'y all evening. I realise statistically it's still very unlikely anything would be happening at 37+3, but I can't help but hold onto a little bit of hope!
