Larger girls/Spray tans

Any of you larger ladies had a spray tan? What was the experience like? I really want one for my friends babys christening but i'm so nervous - the positions i'll have to get in to be sprayed all over will be ridiculous and i don't have the best looking boobs in the world - i'll be mortified stripping off infront of some size 8 beauty queen

Spray tans look so bad.
It is so easy to tell, I say go natural

^ Not if they are done correctly. Main problem is people try and go too dark thats why they look un natural and orange. And use crap product and/or equipment

I used to get them all the time and people would not believe it when i told them it was fake. Plus i have sprayed hundres of people myself, brides and all. Every one of them looked like they had a nice natural glow, how spray tans are MEANT to look

I have big boobies so you just hold them up while the tech sprays underneath lightly, dries them off then sprays the top.....and areas where you have creases etc you just need to flatten them out by stretching etc. I have sprayed some very large women and if u know what you are doing they come out perfect, just takes a little more time and drying off in between creases before they resume the normal position again etc.

I dont think you have to get in positions hun, when I had mine done I was just standing in like a star shape. Im not large but I dont think anyone likes getting them done, but please dont worry about your body shape it's a sure fact the girl who does it sees all shapes and sizes xxx

see that's what i'm embarassed of.. lifting bits up and smoothing bits out if you were doing it i wouldn't mind cos u're abit more mature.. i know whoever i go to will be about 19, barbie like and SLIM and spray tans look very natural if done correctly. everyone looks better with a bit of colour, that's why i want it doing! hopefully get some nice photos of me and my friends together without looking like a big overgrown ghost! x

No unless you are quite large you just have to stand there basically. And you can wear whatever you like, bra and knickers if u want, bathers .... although most people just were knickers x

Do u know anyone who can recommend you somewhere good to go?

Believe me we supply to salons all over Australia and overseas and most of the therapists are not 19 year old barbie dolls hahaha

i had one when i was 11 stone and i was nervous at first but it was alright really lol i just wore a bikini and stood in a star shape you dont have to strip infront of them haha they leave you and then come back in once your ready you should get one they are worth the money.

I did my spraytanning course at Christmas, since then sprayed a few larger ladies, a couple were nervous about getting it done before hand, but i think when they feel comfortable with you - its fine!
Most the ladies i do stay in their underwear, others go topless with just nickers on!

Be confident hun, I used to get mine done when I was a size 16, it was absolutely fine. As far as I was concerned, I was holding the money and all the girls were really nice and chatty, they don't care. Get a'spraying!
