letting your milk dry up

what is it like? how long does it take? does it hurt? I'm still BFing, until she's 3 months old. I'm just anxious about when that time comes...

I'm working on it at the moment and have just been 'using them' less and less. So I went from 6 x a day, down to 5...etc... I've not BF for three days now and I am a bit tender and leaky but not too bad so far so fingers crossed thats it!

Hiya, I tried breast feeding but only did it 3 times, the 1st time she really took to it but after that it just wasnt working and it got to the point where she was starving so I gave in and bottle fed

but anyway after about a week my boobs went very really hard, it was uncomfortable but I wud not say it hurt and then after about 4 or 5 days they felt normal again but still leaked lots, my baby is now 5 weeks old and my boobs have just about stopped leaking.

Honest its nothing to fear just have lots of breastpads and nipple cream at the ready

I was wondering this too. Also, do your boobs shrink in size noticeably?!! Mine are HUGE!

Mine have shrunk quite a bit which i am a bit sad about lol and they are real squishy rather than firm and full like when you are breastfeeding

I was a C before getting pregnant, i went up to a D and now i think i shrunk down to a B!!
