I got watery/bit stretchy cm this morning so things are looking up. I 'usually' get at least 6 days of fertile cm before OV, but coming off the met might have messed that up, so... I'm gonna start opk'ing today.

So i think im considered irregelar...i used to have 26 day cycles but after i had my last baby in feb...i get a period every month but its usually always a week later than the last day...you know what i mean? Like instead of four weeks its like five...so i dont when i ovulate.? COuld any of you give me a clue, last cycle was 36 days, im on cd2, havent temped at all, could i start tomorrow or is it too late? Sorry confused....

You can start temping tomorrow, that would be fine If your cycle is 36 days long, you''ll likely ovulate around CD 21 or thereabouts.

Keep your eye on your cervical mucus, and when it's like eggwhite or watery, use an OPK. Good Luck, and sorry the got you!

CD2 should be fine to start temping still. Go ahead and give it a try =) I'm guessing your best bet for guessing around when you're ovulation would be to go by 2 weeks before your AF is due. But for the sake of it I'd start temping and keep an eye on that anyway. And if possible at all start using cheapie ovulation sticks from day 10 on. If you're "regular" around 5 weeks then next month will most likely be the same as this month as to when you can expect O.

And just to keep us girls satisfied, why not start a FertilityFriend chart, so we can peek in on your temperatures as well?

Scrap that, I agree with what was said in the post above. Start using cheapie ovulation sticks when your notice a change in your cm

So do i just get a thermometer that you put in your mouth...like a digital one to take a temp..or does it say BBT on it at the store...i have to run and get one tonight?

A BBT one takes your temp to 2 decimal places. It's more accurate Take your temp at the same time every morning, before you get up, talk or anything, and after at least 3 hours solid sleep.

I've only had my BBT thermometer for 2 days now, before that I simply used a regular oral one. Just stick it under your tongue the first thing when you wake up (don't talk, walk or brush your teeth) and fall asleep again until it beeps. Or well, that's what I do anyway.

When you can however, try and get a BBT/Fertility one. The only difference is that they're a little more accurate and show in 2 numbers beyond the . instead of just 1. I was soooo looking forward to finally getting to put a 'slight off' number in my chart today, so the dot wouldn't be on the line anymore ... was absolutely gutted when I got a 36.10 *sigh* Hoping that tomorrow will be 36.16 or something.

I looked around the shops here for one of these thermometers, but failed to find any. I ended up getting mine off the internet, bundled with a bunch of ovulation test sticks. Can't have too many of them when irregular =)

Also my period seems to have slowed down alot, making it only two days, im still bleeding but not like i normally do..sorry tmi! anyways i have really sore bbs, theres no way im preggers right?...it just seems different than any other af? also is your cp high when you have af??? i thought it was low, mines pretty high, hard to reach?

Cervical position can vary, so that's probably nothing, BUT sore boobies is weird, because its progesterone that causes the soreness you get after you ovulate, but, in order for AF to visit, preogesterone drops. So, generally when AF comes, the sore boobies go away.

The shortening / lightening of AF could mean it's not actually AF at all... but it's hard to say.

You only 'need' to temp for 6 days before you ovulate, so no, cd 3 should still be absolutely fine. Have you signed up at https://www.fertilityfriend.com/ ?

Yeah i have...i havent done anything with the chart yet though! i was actually still signed up with my last baby, but got preggers on ttc # 1. Yeah i was a week late and then started spotting, sat, sun, and mon, than bleeding on tues (alot) and yesterday, now today it doesnt really drip just there when i wipe and if i would put a finger up there..tmi im sorry! ...my cycles are at least 7 to 8 days, and heavy up untill the last 2 days....kinda confused. I had orignally had an appt scheduled today to see ob/gyn to get an iud...( old appt) , didnt realized we were going to ttc at that time..anyways still have to appt...maybe go and talk with her? have a urine test done? only thing is my pregnanices are so bad(medically wise for me and have premies) so kinda nervous to tell her we are ttc..!! we are like good friends...but still nervous should i tell her! also member when i kept having positive opks...should probly check that out too eh. sorry this is long. HEHE thanks hun

Well i went to the dr today...it was an appointment originally to get the iud. But obviously i dont want that anymore. So i didnt really tell her whats going on other than the bleeding and sore boobs, she said areyou pregnant? i said noo trust me im not. But also i've gained like 8 pounds in the last month and idk why...im thinking homronal problems...
So anyways she said that i should wait at least a year to get pregnant because my pregnancies are so bad. I have a seventh month old and she wants me to wait!!! So she said if the blood work comes back all good than she would want to give me the iud.....and said when its removed that i WILL get pregnant!.......I dont know what to do or think.., i know my pregnancies suck but i just dont want to wait...what do you ladies think.

Btw..she did blood work like hcg, FSH, LH, and thyroid i believe...i didnt ask tbh

So as of now idk whats going on, but im still bleeding so theres no way i could be pregnant with all this blood unless i was miscarrying or something! So i will let you know what the blood work says, but for now i believe i have af and hope you guys could give me some advice...thanks ladies!

When you say your pregnancies are so bad, what do you mean? I can't imagine what's so bad you'd need to wait a year... but then she is a doctor and maybe she knows best? If another pregnancy could be bad for you physically, maybe you should wait? I don't know... only you know what the risks are...

well i had blood clots with both boys, i have svt(heart arryithima), but take meds for it, premature labor, and bed rest, also kindey stones/infections and thats about it.. with the last baby i did also have hyperemeis(really terrible morning sickness) required a picc line, kinda like a central to feed me and give me meds...so yeah its just kinda crazy, but im healthy now and so our both my boys. and the heart problem will affect me more as i get older so thats why i dont want to wait, as well as i only have one ovary, ...

Hubby and i really believe if God has another planned for our future than it will happen at the right time, sometimes i just get carried away with thinking maybe it will never happen again, just need to be paitent....
