So I'm back with you irregular girls!!

I think this first cycle won't be a proper one anyway, so I'll wait until next time I bleed to count CD1. And god knows how long it will be before I get to CD1!

anyway where are all the other buddies gone? how are you gilrs doing? are your cycles getting any better?

How are you feeling? Welcome back

Well no suprises with my cycle so far - except for the ups and downs on my chart. Perhaps my thermometer is on it's last legs and might need replacing. How long do they last for I wonder. I can't change the battery so I might have to invest in a new one.

I've gotten stuck into my stash of IC's that arrived last month too. It's probably way too early for me to be using them but it's this POAS addiction that I have!

I bought grapefruit juice yesterday as I read that it can help with CM and althoug my CM gets to the watery stage I don't usually see much evidence of the EWCM (sorry if TMI). So I had a glass and UGH! It was gross! So bitter I nearly gagged! So I blended it with some Robinson's squash and water. I'm a wuss. It probably doesn't work at all if I do that.
I might invest in some Robitussin instead. Hope it's more palatable.

Hubby was out watching footy on saturday and told me yesterday that one of the guys in the pub told him his girlfriend is expecting and I felt really jealous when DH told me. Isn't that awful of me. I just wish that one day it will be mh DH sharing that great news with the guys about us

LMB, I think grapefruit juice works... at least I tihnk it worked for me. If you don't like the taste, you could buy a blend of orange and grapefruit or something like that. Blending is perfectly fine, cause all you need is the vitamins and good stuff from the grapefruit... and anyway in your stomach everything gets mixed up anyway.

I hope you don't need o buy a new thermometer. Perhaps you just need a few days for the temps to settle down.

On my way to the shop at lunch I nipped into the chemist and bought a bottle of Robitussin as I've also heard it's great for increasing CM. I'll stick with the grapefruit juice that's in the frdge too but willl most definitely be blending it with orange to make it go down easier.

I have heartburn now from the Robitussin

It'll be worth it if it works though

Newbie here with irregular cycles...

Last few months will you give you some idea... 42, 32, 45, 36, 30, 43, 57,

Assuming I got ovulation right, I'm now 18dpo and AF should've arrived Thursday or Friday last week. I did a test yesterday but didn't even get a control line... think I might leave it at that for now and try again next week.

Do you chart your cycle at all? I find that taking my temp every morning and using fertility friend is great for analysing my cycle and seeing exactly where I am. I' definitely recommend it as it really helps to identify OV.

You must be so puzzled by being 18dpo and then not to get a control line! It's a mystery to me. What brand test did you use? Perhaps you could test again.

I've only been charting my cycle for the last few months as the doc wanted some idea of what she was dealing with - not that she's been much help. ARGH! I've tried doing the temp thing but I think I need a degree to work out Fertility Friend, or is it just me? Plus I'd always forget to do it sometimes. Is taking the temp thing useful? I keep reading that when your temp goes up, it's after OV which is too late by then. I've just bought one of those ClearBlue fertility monitors... I know my cycle's erratic (and it does work with some long cycles, just means twice the OV sticks lol) but at the moment I'll try anything!!

Yep 18dpo is driving me insane!!!!!! I'm tempted to test again but I know I'll just be setting myself up for more disappointment. Btw, the brand I used is Babystart... think if i do another test I'll try a different brand.

Hi tickledpink i'm an irregular graduate but still like to pop by! You can attach a link to your Fertility Friend chart in your signature and that helps us BnB chart stalkers help you make sense of your chart! Your right that after you OV your temps go up showing you when you ovulated retrospectively however if you combine temping with checking your CM/CP you can get a good idea of when OV is about to arrive even with irregular cycles (worked for me! )

Thanks again for the welcome Maybe I'll give the temp thing another go, something else to keep me occupied lol. I check CM but relying on that... well, that's why I'm doubting when I OV'd I keep thinking I got it wrong. But the OH says how can you get it wrong? lol And congrats to you!!!!!

If you didn't get a control line then definitely retake the test. Probably it was either defective or you didn't soak the stick long enough

Oh well... earlier this evening I started feeling really sicky and noticed my back was aching, so I went rushing to the loo. Looks like AF is on her way So I'll be trying out the CBFM tomorrow and will try and remember to take my temp each day... Signed up with Fertility Friend again, still looks like another language to me

No sign of Ov for me either and my addiction to POAS is seriously ridiculous. I'm only on CD14 but I know myself I shouldn't be testing this early but part of me always thinks this could be the miracle cycle where it goes back to a normal cycle length and I'll be OV sooner than before. stupid I know

Nah, I'm a dilluisonal-POAS-late ovulator-optimist

Thank God I'm only using my stock of cheap IC form Babymad otherwise I'd be a penniless-dilluisonal-POAS-late ovulator-optimist

Okay I'm confused... Wednesday night.. sick queasy feeling, achy back and brown spotting.... Usually I only get that for a few hours before AF arrives. It's now Friday morning, no achy back, no sicky feeling but still brown spotting and i feel a bit light headed sometimes. If AF is going to show up, I wish she would get a move on!!!!

The CBFM has gone back in the box for now.... I'm now on CD42

Ooh, sounds promising. Spotting could be implantation! Have you O'd? If so how many days DPO are you? Have you a chart we could look at for you?

I think it might be too late for IB.... I only started charting my temp two days ago so no help there I'm afraid. Assuming I got OV right (only rely on CM), that was 30th/31st July, which makes me..... 22dpo!?

Hope that answers all your questions lol. I think it might just be playing games

Wish I could say that CM is a sure fire sign of OV but I had a couple of rounds of EWCM and Watery CM during my last cycle I also had a lot of spotting that didn't come to anything either. I will attach a link to my FF chart for you so you can have a peek.....would be great if you could add yours too!!!! We are all a bunch of chart stalkers on here i'm afraid!!!!

I go from 30, 31, 43, 42 back to 30, 31, 38 - no rhyme or reason to my cycles. They just do their own thing.

Well...I did another HPT and got a BFN, which is what i was half expecting. So i can only assume that this is the and maybe the VitB6 that I've been taking these last three or four weeks, has helped with the sore boobs, the really sick/faint feeling and the bad back cramps. Why didn't I take it sooner? lol. So... I started the CBFM, now on CD6 and did my first test this morning Think the OH is a little nervous when I switch that thing on... he's worried that one morning I'm going to switch it on scream, "PEAK!" and pounce on him

I've been taking my temp but I'm still trying to figure out FF. Way too much info on there and my head is about to burst! I've been charting my temp and I think this is the right link
