We are using the withdrawal method; however, I just started tracking my ovulation in June based on BBT. He uses the $ excuse as well but I know that it is shear terror that drives his reluctance. Drives me bonkers! Im a total live by faith alone type gal, he's more of a well God gave me a brain, so I'll help him out type guy...

I have actually been miscalculating my O because I thought it was the day of the dip...then I found out that it is actually the day before the Rise...
Fingers crossed for this cycle 6 dpo....

Haha nice! It was a logic thing for me for a while that made me stay on BCP. Then thought I was preggo and went off, and God changed my heart and I feel like we need to just let Him control it and make love when we wanna! Haha then hubby got all logical on me and then after arguments, discussions, tears, and make up sex, he told me his mind says wait but his heart says it is time, so we are leaving it up to God and FINALLY fully NTNP. I am starting to chart this cycle because they have been irregular and it's stressful *thinking* I am late when I maybe just Ov'ed early. Plus I wanna make sure I am ovulating so we can get any issues out of the way ASAP and onto the real baby making! Haha thankfully, I have these ladies here to convince me it's a good idea to temp to sneer stand my body. Plus this last cycle at 37 days, I was 5 days later than the previous cycle so I was kinda convinced I was pregnant and it stung when I got my period... so gonna temp starting Saturday most likely, cuz my bbt should arrive on Friday. A little late in the cycle, but can't hurt to get used to it even if it isn't accurate this cycle!

IF I ovd today after the cramps and aches and my temp goes up tomorrow to 36.5 and stays up for at least 3 days FF will say I ovd. Can't help but play

you definitely learn a lot about your body and whether or not you are consistent. I love doing it!
My cycle has finally straightened itself out (after 14 years on BCP)...so 23 day cycle, 5 day p, O on 13...works for me!

Praying for you! It'll happen....now all I have to come to terms with is that its Gods timing...not mine

Fairy moving is hard enough of a morning let alone hubby pounced! No thermal shift! So we DTD, woop! But I didn't ov. Will give hubs a break tonight and chance to restock then pounce Friday if I ov today we're still in with a chance

Msb hiya! Wow so envious of ladies who know what's gonna happen when, I hate not knowing get bloods back next wed to see if I need any other investigation about PCOs or my thyroid. Took us 9months with DS and we're on month 4 of TTC this one although the first month was NTNP and I've only just started temping again xx

Aww sorry. I won't test early any more cuz the BFN before my period hits is just another punch in the gut for me. So the earliest I test is the day AF is due.

I knew better than to test, but with the drop Im skeptical it will be anything other than AF for me on monday.

I would test the day after missed period.
7dpo is way too early.

Fairy to me TTC is not doing anything to prevent pregnancy and everything to make it happen. We didn't follow any pattern at all when TTC before, here's my chart the cycle I conceived.

As you can see we hadn't DTD for about a week, then twice at the weekend, I had stopped temping, for a few days to have a break and started again on the weds and got a really high temp so put some lower temps in to see if I got crosshairs which I did. And we DTD that night or day too. 2wks later no AF so I tested. It's just that one perfectly timed along with the perfect egg and spermie

Was speaking to hubby earlier, we're TTC now and will be doing the SMEP this cycle. So far so good. Still waiting to ovulate. Wednesdays test was nearly positive. Thursdays was completely negative. Today's test nearly positive again. So fingers crossed I ovulate over the weekend.

Thanks a ton Laura for sharing that chart and for the detailed info.

Red: Thought of trying SMEP this cycle. But got confused with opk as there was no true positive and ovulated late. So we ended up DTD EOD. Hope it works. But SMEP is a good plan and it definitely works it seems. I have joined one SMEP thread and ladies are getting their BFPs.

You both are pretty close in cycle. Hope this thread is going to see some BFP this time. Corny is also fully on the board with NTNP. Good times are coming.

U guys are prob sick of all my bad news- but hubby just got laid off this morning. Hoping this doesn't change our NTNP status.... but seriously, summer 2013 SUCKS. Just one bit of good news... Is that asking too much? Just gotta keep reminding myself, God is in control, and good CAN and WILL come of this. It's just one of those seasons I suppose. :/ prayers are always appreciated. Thanks.
