Mad mad mad mad mad!!

Had a text yeaterday saying our Disney package would be delivered before 9pm by yodel! Last night at around 9:30 hubby went to put the bins out and our parcel was just sitting on door step, we live in an apartment so it's not like it was in the rain but still mad that we were in and they didn't knock or anything!! Anyway, hubby was saying hes going to complain as the orde inside was worth £100 an could easily have been taken! Then I opened in the box....we had ordered the 20 die cast cars set (normally £100 but we gr for £57 due to discounts on here!!) the whole of the box was smashed in, it was the actual plastic that had been broken so there was a huge hole in front of box and sharp plastic poking out!!!! I was soooo mad!! How can warehouse staff think that's an acceptable way to package things!! And the yodel staff think its ok to just leave things outside without knocking!!! What is wrong with people??! I sent an email to Disney complaining last night! x

Omg that's awful hun!
Yodel was in The Sun yesterday as they are well know for throwing parcels over 6ft high fences or just leaving them in bins!
Id complain direct to the company also! It's disgusting.
Do they not realise that people are paying good money for things and there service is to deliver them safely and to the recipient!
I've got orders coming from sports direct and I think that's Yodel so I'm hoping I'm in to receive the parcel as I dread to think what they would do with it if I wasn't x

I've been wanting to complain they always leave my order with different neighbours an never leave a calling card, when I track it, it just says delivered. Yodel have brought other orders and just left one outside with no calling card

I'm sure with Disney store it is supposed to be signed for aswell. Hope you get it sorted

Yodel was on Watchdog daily. The complaint were things getting thrown over fences or not even turning up although it is claim they were delivered. I can't believe they can get away with that kind of service.

Omg that's shocking about fences!!! I remember one years mum had ordered some expensive designer sunglasses from catalogue and on her calling card it said 'left on balcony' we were like 'surely not!!' right enough we checked and the package was on the balcony on 2nd floor of house...either he shimmied up the drain pipe (highly doubt it!!!!!) or more believably he threw it up over the 2nd floor balcony!!!!! It's a miracle they wernt broken!! Can't remember that delivery company but I'm pretty sure these delivery men wouldn't like their parcels being treated like this! X

Im really lucky in that the delivery guys here are brilliant, including the yodel one. But in my old house I HATED anything left by yodel because they left it with neighbours and didn't leave a card to say where it was. Or they just left it at my door where anyone could have lifted it.

Thats awful. Last year I ordered my daughter a couple of items from disney, and had specifically ordered her a special ornament and they sent me the wrong item... instead it was some tinkerbell doll set when I had ordered a snow white ornament!

We live in a house, but I also have parcel leave stuff on our door step. When we ordered our stroller, they left it there to sit all day. It was raining one day and the parcel just left the doll house I ordered my daughter for xmas on the uncovered door step. Ive even had them be sneaky and put it on my back door and I had no idea because its not like I check the back door for parcel. To me, they should at least knock, and if no one comes, leave a note or something... but I hate it when they just leave it assuming someone must be there and know they are magically there.

Oh gosh thats awful, I had a expensive Disney order come today by Yodel allthough they did thankfuly ring the bell. I have had countless times couriers leave things in the garden normalu by Hermes. X

I wouldn't have high hopes for yodal if I was you. From eBay I've had 3 items retuned to sender because they NEVER deliver to my flats. I live in glass flats in the middle of town and they simply refuse to get out the van.

I ordered a toy story bike from disney store and had to have the delivery address changed to my mums house. It got there no problems. And when I had a moan about them failing to deliver the bike to my home address the day before he told me to "get on my bike" And started shouting at me that i was to lazy to comedown stairs & collect my order an they were rining me buzzer for 10mins.....i Was gobsmacked. My mum said she knew the delivery man as he had delivered to her for various companies since I was born (I'm 23) how he hasn't been sacked I don't know x

Hubby's not home until 9ish and the email was sent from his email address so have to wait to see if they've replied!!!! Grrrr!! X

Just checked DH emails, they've replied apologising and asking if we want a refund or replacement for it and want me to send photos to go with it. X

Hate it when couriers do this! I order a few things from republic last week and every time they came (3 deliveries) it was dumped on the doorstep and the courier literally knocked once and walked off, didn't even check to see if I was in?!
