I wouldn't worry. Opks do not always gradually get darker to a positive.

I know, but the crazy thing was I didn't even notice until later on when I was recalling the conversation. I think I have just been so surrounded by those words lately, they don't faze me. Plus I was just so focused on getting through the conversation.

Funniest conversation ever with a boss...who is a man! Can you imagine if he had started using the lingo on these forums? I have a problem that I start talking like I type....I tell my hubby my opk was negative but I need to show him by bbt and purchase some more hpt so I get a bfp...his just stares at me and shakes his head.


Opk status at 3pm = negative, hubby is still really sick so I am going to hold off on starting SMEP until at least tomorrow. I can't risk catching what he has!

This has happened to me a couple of cycles. Sometimes they gradually get dark until a positive. When they get lighter I freak out too but then you take one and it's obviously positive and realize I worried for no reason. Our bodies are weird

Hey guys...so my reading was strange. I am not going to say it was bad, because who knows...everything could make sense one day. So I will skip all the aura & about me stuff...I also had to clarify a few things. So I will post the reading, then my questions, then her response. As I have said before, trying not to read too much in to it...it is for fun. But she has a lot of people swear by her & say the readings made sense after the fact.

MY READING:

With timing, I am being shown the month of June as being significant to this baby. i DO see spring as being very significant, so it could very well be that a cycle that begins in Spring, could bring news of baby in June (summer) r it could be a due date of beginning of June, with birth at the end of may. All of us do not have cycles that begin and end in one month, so anything relating to your cycle of conception (conception, or BFP) can definitely be tied to that month that I see. It can also be birth timing. Please note that my predictions usually are for the current year, or next. I see the number associated with this, which can be that you will ovulate, or find out you're pregnant on this date, or it can be the number of cycles before you’re pregnant. I know that seems like a wide range of things, but numbers are just that-numbers, so it is hard to pinpoint significance with how it will come into play. I do feel you will have a boy.

With pregnancy, I am being shown that this baby will pop in to say hello early. and what I mean by this is that you will show a lot earlier with him than you did with your first. I also see an early onset of symptoms, and that breast tenderness will be something that pops up before you can even test. i also see a lot of burred vision associated with migraines, and that this will be something that really bothers you throughout pregnancy. I also get a message of tingly feet? so perhaps a circulation issue. With birth, the number that I see associated with birth is 7. This can be your due date the date or time you give birth, or the number of hours you labor. I do feel that you will have a natural labor and birth this go around. When it comes to your baby, I am being shown vivid blue eyes, and fine hair at birth, but a lot of it. He will be very keen on being held all the time, and does not like to be left alone for long periods as he is very social.

MY QUESTIONS:

I just had a couple of questions. In the first section after the month prediction you reference a number but I don't see one. You also talk about this pregnancy as if I've been pregnant before. I've never been pregnant.

HER RESPONSE:

I don't know why I typed it like that, lol I honestly don't, I meant that you will show a lot sooner with this baby even though he is your first. in being that you will show sooner with this being your first, almost as if he is not your first baby. Sorry about that. when I do readings, I go on autopilot, so sometimes my thought doesn't come out the way i think it when I type it. I see the number 1 associated with timing. I must not have hit the button hard enough.

On another note, I have not had one good nights sleep since daylight savings...I have also kept having vivid strange dreams. I hope to get some rest this weekend. As for now, it is 2:30...been up since midnight after only sleeping maybe 2-3 hours. I get up for work at 7. Ugh...

Her reading is completely different than the other readings you have had. I think I can remember quite a few saying April? Also it seems like they almost all agree on boy!

I have been out of it since the time change, it has really messed me up. I wake up every day with a killer headache and spend half the day wishing I could go back to bed. I am usually not like that, we get up at 6 for hubby to get to work and I have never had a problem waking up before. It doesn't help that it is dark outside until like 8am in the morning.

Yes she was definitely different. Most of the others focused on the months March/April or Dec/Jan which line up with BFPs then deliveries. She also mentions spring but then says June...I don't see June as Spring...I guess May could be spring & she said I could get pregnant in May, find out in June. But she also said the number 1...so maybe only 1 more cycle. Another way I am looking at it is that the first day of Spring is the 20th which is around testing time for me. I did have mostly people saying boy. But I read a review for her & the woman said nothing made sense until all the events started happening & falling in to place.

I really hope this is it for me though...I just don't want to keep doing this. I am seriously just thinking of going to IVF...but I am being patient, holding out hope, & listening to my doctor.

Not yet...thinking about maybe starting this weekend. But I also wanted to hold out until St Patrick's Day at the earliest. I am having slight cramps & twinges today. I don't really symptom spot as I know nothing really means much of anything. However, my boss said something to me today...& it was really not a big deal & nothing new from things he has said in the past. I told him about a deadline coming up & what we needed. My desk is next to his office so sometimes I just tell him things out of nowhere. And he said let's just talk about that later...not a big deal. I just have to randomly remind them of things. So anyways he said that & I said no problem...just a reminder...and then I had a brief moment where my feelings were hurt & I wanted to cry. So random. But it is probably nothing.

I don't really know why I am thinking about this all of a sudden, but I just feel like I want a plan before this cycle ends. I feel like I need a referral to the RE...and maybe one more cycle with my dr. So if I have the referral, I can start that process while completing my last cycle of IUI. I have not been told I can only do 3 cycles...but I think that was the original plan. I just really feel like getting this going, you know. I think I am just tired from lack of sleep & that just makes you frustrated & tired with everything.

Beagle, I think that is how most psychics work...it seems odd when you look at in in the present time but when it is in the past it sort of all makes sense. I don't think June is the spring either but technically summer doesn't start until June 21st. The 1 could be 1st test or 1 boy or 1 week until you get a bfp? Hoping this is it for you!

floridasian, awesome glad you finally got a + opk! I wish I had kept an accurate chart and tested more frequently with opks before my m/c...I have no clue if my cycle changed when I O'd.

Yeh I love my boss. I think he was pretty excited. He has 2 boys & I can see his face light up when he talks about them. Actually I turned 30 while working with him & I think he is part of the reason I wanted to start trying again. I saw how much he adored them & just knew my husband would be the same.

I am trying not to be negative...but my brain & body are just tired...I think that is why I felt like crying earlier...just exhaustion. Anyways, I talked briefly to my husband. If this cycle doesn't work, I am going to ask my dr how many more she would do...if only one more cycle, I am going to go ahead & ask for the referral. I will still do the 3rd IUI with her, but I want to already be in the door if I need the RE in April.

Please tell me this morning's test was positive. I don't know how much longer I can wait. I told DH last night if I don't o within the next 2-3 days I'm just going to say "F* it" and start trying this cycle. It's dragging on for way too long!
