March...Hoping for some Irish luck to bring us little Charms

So I had my first ultrasound this morning. Got to see the little bean and see the heartbeat. It was 108 bpm and they said anything above 100 is normal so everything seems normal so far! Yay!

Such good news! Congrats again! :happydance:

Congrats!! That's such great news!!

Never tried the traditional Chinese medicine/acupuncture but I've heard of many good things about them. I live in a small town so there's no such option for me to even try. Just make sure they sanitize the needles though (do they reuse them?) I saw it on 20/20 a few weeks ago that some of these places can be quite nasty so it's important to find a reputable one and one who is licensed to do so.

Floridasian, I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you that it's nothing serious!!

Question for the ladies and ladies who have been pregnant before-
My breast did not get tender until yesterday is that normal or should I be counting that as a symptom?
I am asking because I've done a little bit of research and all research has told me that it's normal but typically I either get breast tenderness the day right after ovulation or don't get it at all not six days past ovulation... Speaking of jinxing I think I may be jinxing myself lol

Hello and welcome Suzy!!

Alison I knew everything would be great!! So happy for you and your little bean:)

Savvy the pains could be because you had a large follicle bursting from your ovary. Sometimes the larger the follicle the more ovulation pain you have. Also, I think you O yesterday!

Beaglemom I feel the same way about making plans for my surgery. It's almost like I am not putting any effort into the cycle because I'm about to have the surgery. I started out really good taking my opks and all my pills but fell off the wagon because I thought I wasn't going to ovulate and then my temp is showing me that I did so we'll see I guess...

And hey and good luck to everyone else!!!

I just read some reviews...no reviews on the cheaper guy...but he was nice on the phone. The more expensive person...person who told me a price & that was it...has horrible reviews. Bad attitude, rude...on & on. The middle guy who is oriental (all were oriental except cheaper guy) has great reviews. I also have a co-worker whose wife is a chiropractor & she says the middle guy she heard was good. So I am leaning towards him...just have to deal with the uncomfortableness of a language barrier.

I heard that breast tenderness is from increase in progesterone. So you could ge it anytime...I usually get it mid TWW. BUT as I have said before nothing means anything until it does.

Savvy - I just remembered, the o type pain after you o can be from the corpus luteum when it's working hard to pump out progesterone! I remember googling about this the cycle I got pregnant.

misaacs - I never felt anything in my breasts when I got pregnant, up to the day of my D&C!

Thanks ladies!
I don't know what to think... I guess I will know in about a week. Almost every cycle I think I have symptoms and they turn into a BFN. So I should probably stop but I just can't! I just know that this cycle is different then the last 3 and each cycle I try to keep some hope alive. I really, really want this cycle to be it so I don't have to have surgery. Anytime someone goes under it is scary to me. But I also know that the surgery is necessary of I want to get a BFP. Who knows, maybe both are blocked and that's why I haven't get a +

Misaacs, the only symptom I had was that my boobs hurt, so stay positive! : )

Allison do you remmember on what day they started to hurt? Was it in the two week wait or after you got your positive?

Beaglemom: Are you starting Clomid tomorrow? The advantage of regular cycles is you can start a new round quickly.
Good for you for working out! I hate to get up early as well but I need to start working out. I wanna feel in better shape but I admit I’m lazy 
I think acupuncture is actually a really good idea.

Misaacs117 good luck with the TWW. We’re almost there!

Let me ask you all: when you get your BFP, will tell anyone straight away? I mean apart from your DH / SO. Your mother perhaps? I know my mother can’t wait but I don’t want to jinx anything. I’m not PG btw, just wondering…
Allison have you told anyone?

floridasian I hope the doctor finds it's nothing serious and you can get on with your baby plan. Positive thoughts! :hugs:

I actually started the clomid today after I picked it up. I am going to make an acupuncture appt tomorrow.

I plan on telling the husband & probably my boss. My mom I want to surprise & she does not live nearby...so tell her first chance I can. Not sure who else. No one really knows we are TTC...I just recently told my boss because of all the appts I have.

Misaacs, It was in the TWW, I think like a week or so before I tested. I didn't really think too much about it though bc that was typical for me before AF, but I guess it meant something this time.

Beaglemom, I always wanted to try acupuncture but the places here are sooo expensive! Good luck!

Suzy, I've pretty much told everyone. My mom and 2 best friends knew the day I got my BFP and I told my bosses shortly after that. My husband told everyone the day we found out. The only people who don't know are like Facebook friends that I don't really see. I'll post something about it eventually, but I haven't decided when yet.

My breasts are soooo sore. I never have this symptom. I've started spotting very lightly which is also unusual for me. My period is due Wednesday so I guess time will tell!!

Thanks floridasian...I sure hope that is what is going on here! I keep getting random sharp pains in the same right side. No other symptoms. My opk was still barely + this afternoon (lines were the exact same darkness). I'd love it if my corpus luteum was boosting the progesterone. I am determined to get a bfp this cycle!

No one besides me, DH, 2 doctors and you girls know we are ttc. When I got my bfp in December, we were thinking about telling our parents on Christmas Day and I was not sure if I would make it that long without telling my mom. I had a m/c a week and a half later and never told anyone. Now I kinda wish I had told my mom because it was hard going thru the m/c

When I do get my bfp we will tell my parents first, not sure about the in laws. I will also tell my cousin who I am very close to. Then I am waiting until 16 weeks (I think) to make a cute announcement on facebook. I really wanted to surprise my hubby, but last time I just waved the stick around, shoved it in his face and asked him if it was a faint line...hopefully I will come up with something better this time! :)

Savvy, that's funny. I wanted to surprise my husband too but I was just so in shock I had to tell him. I couldn't help myself, I was shaking so bad, lol.

It's quiet here today.

So I just received my email from my doctors office going over things about my upcoming surgery and they attached some pamphlets for me. I guess I will be having a laparoscopy and a hysteroscopy. Which I did not know. They said they would get me fixed up and they were not lying. But I am really scared. I just wish I did not have to do this or go through this. Makes me upset that I have to, really. I am at work right now and I just want to cry. Why can't I be a normal women and get pregnant on my/our own? I keep thinking this is a natural thing that our bodies are supposed to do. So why is it so difficult?! I'm not saying I think it should be easy but I keep thinking that trying to have a baby should be easier than this.
