march lambs 2010 come on ladies

cocoa, i wouldnt worry about the weight gain so long as she doesnt loose weight its common in heat for them to not want to eat so much and to sleep more ( or less for some babies , EJ sleeps lighter but probably a bit longer with this heat ) and breastfed babies when they start to settle into a routine dont gain weight steady it seems they tend to grow quite a bit then have a break then put on more weight then it slows down for a bit again

Thanks Lynn. I've got to take her to HV on Thursday anyway, so I'll probably take her the following week just to make sure she's not loosing any weight.

ive booked EJ in for his 8wk jabs this afternoon so will get him weighed by the HV at the same time and Nate has a GP appointment for Thursday to see about his Hypospadias and if it needs treatment

lynn-I never even thought of the heat. It has been in the 90's most days, but we tend to keep our house fairly cool. Sometimes it does get a bit warm, so maybe that's it!

For the past couple days, Mika just sits around with his tongue hanging out. He is constantly sticking it out, it cracks me up! I guess he is rediscovering it? (he did this at about 4 weeks old too) Still he looks like a silly little goose.

Tiger: How is Jesse feeling today. I hope much better.

No, Charlotte is not sitting on her own, but loves being propped up to sit. If you had seen the next photo I took of her on the bed you would have seen that she had fallen to the side looking like a drunk. Like others have said what she really likes is to stand! I doubt this means she will be walking any sooner than any other baby, but it is cute.

Blonde: Charlotte sticks her tongue out a lot too. She also drools a ton and has been for about a month now. At first I was thinking maybe she is teething really early, but I haven't seen any sign of a tooth.

Off to the doctor this morning for my pap and to get back on the pill. Being back on the pill means I am done with breastfeeding (though I had been combination feeding for a while now anyway). I did freeze a good amount of EBM so Charlotte will continue to get a bit for another month or so.

It is soo easy to fall behind on here!

I hope everyone is well.

Been busy the last few days, the weather is soo hot it is killing me!

Taking Wren for her follow up hip scan tomorrow, hope all is well.

Emskins i know what you mean somedays you log on and there is loads a pages to catch up on :coffee: hope Wren's scan is fine.

Lynn ahh poor EJ but at least like you said the op sounds simple, and how funny Nate having it and they never noticed, but it's good its not bothered him.

blondeNklutzi i've just got Chase a jumperoo today off ebay, there soo dear no way i'd have got him a brand new one and the one i've got is like new but for half the price  Don't collect it until Sat, can't wait until he is big enough to go in it, hopefully he will love it he is always kicking his legs and pushing to stand up when your holding him, such a fidget bum he is.

Well we've had 3 nights now of waking every hour, he's just not sleeping, don't know whether its the heat or what but i'm sooooo tired he better sleep tonight. On the plus side he's learnt to laugh BUT without noise, so funny. He's really smiley and laughy at the moment. Anyone know when the noise accompanies the laugh?

Jj - I think it's around 4 months that they start giggling

Emskins - hope the scan goes ok x

Mummydee says to say hi to everyone, she hasn't forgotton us- just working hard on Uni stuff and the forum is too much of a distraction!

hey everyone- jesse is alot better today  sohappy i was getting really worried! his temp settled down a bit but he was sill quite grumpy with me n didnt sleep not even 10min in the hole day, he slept ok overnight though which was good slept from midnigt til 5 so im happy. :)

I don't know how you guys manage to stay caught up on the this thread, I always feel like I missed so much whenever I read it.
Tiger- I'm glad Jesse is doing alot better!
Vegasbaby- Why do you have to give up breastfeeding? My doctor said I could breastfeed while on the pill, their only concern is that it might reduce my supply.
I getting a jumperoo this weekend. I am very lucky I have a friend with triplets so she has 3 of everything, and she is giving me one. So far she has given me a bouncer, swing, playmats and so much more. She has all girls so we joke around that Connor can have choice when he gets older.
Here are a couple cute picks of Connor with his many girlfriends!

CUTE pic Lynn!!!
I STILL have not yet managed to catch up on everything!!! How is everyone doing? Is anyone thinking about next baby yet? I am now WTT Jan 2011. :haha: You'd think i would've been put off forever but nope lol

Kel Connor looks like he's standing in the first pic??? Hasn't he got lots of lovely hair!
Lynn, nearly 17lbs that is amazing... Are you and your hubby quite tall? my nephew also only weighed 8kgs at 1 year old, he's a short arse too but then we all are! EJ is such a cutie love the smile.
MM - no way not yet! When Flora is about 2 we'll probably start trying. Hoping to have moved back to Oz for number 2.

Another day without poo yesterday... hoping this doesn't turn into another five-dayer!

MM - yep I think it is

GL - why do you want to move back to Oz? Just curious. Poonami vibes for F!

Lynn - He looks so adorable!

Taking M into the office to meet everyone today. And I'm not sure if we'll have more kids. I always wanted two but I don't think we could afford the childcare TBH. Plus I'm not keen on going through labour again!!

That's what I thought as well at first, then I realised that's not Connor - He's laying down, second child from the left (could be wrong of course, but he looks like him and it seems more age appropriate ;))

Hope Flora won't have to go through discomfort again =(

Eleanor now owns a jumperoo, she doesn't really care for it. She looked at the parrot dangling above her for a little bit, but she's not even glanced at the other toys really. She's not particularly interested in the rainforest bouncer either, but seems quite happy to lay on the 1-2-3 musical gym. Really hope she'll grow into liking the jumperoo soon, she's a bit young for it still I guess =) ... As you can tell, she's much more interested in her hand!

Also added in a photo of tummy time, just because it was on the camera =)

Kel: First, Connor is adorable. Love it that he already has girlfriends, even better that you are getting such awesome hand-me-downs.

Yep, this is the regular pill not the mini pill so my Dr. told me it would dry up my supply. I was going to go back on the regular pill at 6 weeks but was still doing OK with breastfeeding and opted to put it off until my next visit. Long story short my supply has dwindled down to almost nothing since I started combination feeding. But Charlotte is happy and growing like a weed, so I feel comfortable with my decision.

Looks like everyone's babies are growing like weeds. All the new photos and updated weights are amazing!

So my husband's brother and his wife had their baby yesterday, a 9lb boy. My BIL said that they were so tired after being up for over 24 hours with labour and all that he was happy that they were going to finally be able to get some sleep. :haha::haha::haha: Poor guy has no idea :dohh:.
