well it looks like my due day has been and almost gone!! i feel really gutted that i have no real signs of anything happening. Iv been cleaning like mad today trying to keep myself occupied. i know most people go over with thier first but iv had todays date in my head for months and its been so uneventful!!

Getting alot of CM and a few period type pains in tummy but thats it!!

hugs to all the overdue girls....

its my due date today and I am in so much pain I really could cry.... I have sooo much pelvic pressure I can barely walk, actually opening my legs is agony and it even aches like hell just sat still - I dont know if this is maybe the start of SPD or just regular end of the pregnancy pain, but its not been this bad til today - not a happy bunny!

I know exactly how u feel. I couldn't stop crying yeasterday. My OH wanted me to go out with him so I got all ready then just couldn't face it or people. Thought I'd burst out crying in their faces. So he went and I stayed home alone blubbering!!
Feel slightly better today. Been on a cleaning mission to stay busy as I thought way 2 much yesterday. I'm so annoyed 2 have 2 wait a WHOLE week until going in 4 induction tho. I thought I might get a date for this week.
I see u go in on Sat - is that to take the first pessary? I go in on Sun to take 1st one at night, stay ova then another in morning of Mon. I'm scared! Really want him to come naturally b4 then...but no signs yet. SOOOO fed up. Big to you x

I have this off / on too. Sometimes opening my legs is sheer agony I too don't know if it's SPD or just pressure right at end of pg. Think it's the latter. I'm 6 days ova.... ARRRGGGGHHHH!! It all gets a bit too much at this stage doesn't it?! C'MON BABIES.....

Because im already 3cm dilated they are just going to go straight in and break my waters mw said they will leave me 2 hours and if i dont go in labour on my own they will put drip in to start contractions.
Really didnt want to be induced as i have a homebirth booked
looks like baby has made other arrangements tho

I dont no how you have the energy to do lots of cleaning i can barely walk up stairs without needing a lie down

Hopeforamirac, Im the same I have a home birth booked also but it looks like I'm looking at being induced!! Has a sweep last wk MW said she thinks I'll have baby before Monday (doesn't look that way unless he pops out in the next 3 and a half hrs!! I'm gutted, and had braxton hicks for 5 hrs yesterday that dissapeard! having another sweep tomorrow so I really hope it does something this time! I've tried everything to help induce labour and nothing works!! Have to think positive though as I'm 8 days overdue now so at least I know if I have induction on thurs I only have 4 days left til then! Have to think positive don't we lol xxx

Well unless LO comes in the next 3.5 hours- I will be overdue. Which I was fine with, quite prepared to face the prospect of being induced on roughly 13th April. I always had a feeling I'd be really late and have to be induced.

BUT..... Then my Dad turned up as a surprise and is leaving Friday 10th April. So now I really want her here ASAP as I won't be able to afford to go out and see Dad anytime in the next few years and he can't afford to come back.

I'm thinking if asking my MW for a sweep at my next appointment (40+3). But my PCT guidelines are to do the first sweep at 41+2. However, NICE guidelines say sweeps can be done at 40 and 41 weeks. Do you think he'll be nice and give me a sweep early? He seems like someone who is a stickler for the rules (I think someone told me that he used to be in the army)

Arggghhhhh why are things never simple?!?!?

well 54 hours after starting i eventually had zara joanna by emergency c section. It was a very long, painful and scary birth but all is almost forgotton, we're smitten with her!

officially 1 day overdue today by my dates (due tomorrow buy hospital dates but as we only had sex once in several weeks I know my dates are right!) and man did I have a shit nights sleep last night! I had such bad acid that I was throwing it up, and when it did calm down I had some contractions and just couldnt sleep til around 4am. Luckily DD slept til 815am so I have had a bit of sleep, hopefully enough to function today!

Dee- I feel your pain! Slept for about an hour when I went to bed, then woke up at 1am, awake until 5 and the finally drifted off again. Was having those bloody dull achey pains again- I'd like some contractions please!

So far this morning I've only felt one movement, and that was only a slight roll. She's definitely been a lot quieter over the past week or so but has been really quiet since yesterday (although was quite busy so maybe I didn't notice as much?)
I've never gone to the hospital for monitoring due to low movements, I don't want to feel like I'm wasting their time! Might have some lunch and see if that gets her moving.

We have days where baby is very quiet. try getting some sugary drink or something that makes baby move and see if that gets baby shifting, if not may be worth a trip to hopsital just to be checked
