morning boonies!

seriously peeved this morning... started getting contractions about 830pm last night, soon became quite regular lasting around 45sec-1min every 6/8 minutes and semi-painful... got in a clary sage bath and had a couple in there and then they petered off... got out the bath and had a few more but they lost their regularity so stayed up til midnight bouncing on my ball hoping they would regulate again but zilch! had one at 4amish this morning and thats it. woken up with the usual heavy feeling down below, period pains and pelvic aches! meh!

aww gutted hun, next time try just rubbing the clary sage oil mixed with a carrier oil on your tummy and bouncing rather than having a bath,

as you can see im still here the curry didnt send me to the hospital

thats pretty gutting my midwife told me to get in a bath if i thought i was in labour as that determines whether its practise or the real thing!!! bit unfair though with it being painful heavy feeling, period pains and pelvic aches sound promissin though!!! ive gone to not really even feelin pregnant now lol!!! maybe im having a phantom pregnancy and there is nothing really there!!

Im actually quite content for baby not to come today as my husband (who is feeling much better thank god) has his passing out parade today from fireservice!! it is the one thing he has to attend to get a job!!!! yikes!!! hold tight baby

well baby has been moving about all up and down all day so far while ive been bustling about getting things preped geting DS's stuff organized for having babysitters in for the next couple of days since im not going to be around to do the handover from babysitter to babysitter

Still here myself. Had some cramps yesterday, but never got strong enough for me to think that they meant anything. *Sigh*

Dr's appointment in an hour to make sure everything is ok with lo. I suspect that it is, but they want to check my amniotic fluid levels to be sure.

Crossing my fingers that we all go in to labor naturally here soon!

im 5 days over and my stomache is so sore with bab moving, im so tired and started crying over the slightist thing cannot wait for bab to come, roll on hospital monday to see when im getting induced hope your babs comes soon xxxxx

Blahhhhh! Dont think I can take much more. Anyone had a sweep lately? has it worked for anyone? Im booked in for one on tues but im already 8 days over then so think i may as well wait?? x

I've got sweep booked 4 tmrw ...arrgghhh! I'm quite nervous as I know they can b quite painful. I had my last growth scan 2day (as part of a uni research programme i joined) and doc said sweeps are 8-10% effective at starting off contractions. That seems v small amount to me. Anyway, anything that helps i suppose is worth it...

My baby's approx weight is 8lbs 2oz so don't want him 2 stay in too much longer & get much bigger. More to push out -ooowwwwwwww!! Any1 know their baby's approx weight this far along??

they attempted a sweep on me on monday but my cervix high and closed booo

so tomorrow is day 4 overdue!!! all family coming over at weekend, so neeed some labour dustings to give them summing to see lol!!!!

I had one yesterday, it was really painful and I've only lost the tiniest bit of plug but I've been getting contracions all day today that are roughly 8 minutes apart. I've got another sweep tomorrow and will be booking in for an induction then too.

I very much hope that's true!! Have u had any twinges? I get low down period-type cramping when I wake and could feel baby REALLY low down today when walking round town. Other than that no signs of impending labour - v frustrating isn't it?

They are painful, kind of like intense cramps mainly around my pelvis/hip area. They last about 50 seconds at the mo and I can feel that each one is about to start a couple of seconds before they do.

DH is out playing football at the mo, going to get my tens machine out when he gets back to see if that helps!

Hattie had period aches/back pains on tuesday night, every 30 mins, then every 15 mins then every 5 mins, so i had a bath, took two paracetamol and went to bed, woke up in morning and nothing!!! lol a little later on wednesday started getting pains agin so i went for a two hour walk up the hills with my dad and the dogs and the pains went again lol

next time i get them im gonna sit really still being careful not to even blink to much!! lol
