March Mamas 2012 Baby Group (Closed Group)

morning lads.... EMERA!!! OMG! I am excited. And I too, like Cuppie, have tested a couple of times as I've not had a peep from AF...

FT I too am not keen on fart - I much prefer trump and so you can be trump-timer (!) sounds like you've had a few tough days hun :hugs:! N does that latch on and off thingy...sometimes he's just being a bit nosey other times he needs a trump and need the comfort of sucking but bobs on and off = crap feed but gets the trump out.

Cuppie enjoy your first class with R!!

L&L/Mitch great sleeping  and Mitch I'm sure you're more concerned about the new morning nap place than M is!!! She'll be fine! xxx

MsC - ugh MEN! What more can I say. I hear you. We're back on earplugs in this house. :growlmad:

AFM I am bricking it about this bloody work meeting this morning. Butterfly belly. Silly really as I don't *need* to go back and have been offered a part time job at another practice but still scared. Wish me luck lads!

Oh and STTN fairy paid a fleeting visit to us last night... N fed both boobs (new trick) at 7 and then woke at 1.45am! Shame I went to bed at 11 :dohh: but then was up at 4 and 7 so still same number of feeds just a big gap! Yay!

Decided I've given up on the bottle idea. Its too traumatic for us both and unless I'm engorged I can't seem to get more than 2oz out so I'd be pumping forever so sticking with the boobs until he does cup. Still want to do date nights as, like Loo, I think they are really important for us... but am happy to wait til he's doing 7-11 plus consistently before we have a meal out and get someone to babysit.

Right... have fun days lads...keep your fingers crossed for me!!!

xx

Kit Kat Chunkies?! Is she out of her mind???

Why am I being beat up as sHe feeds? She keeps punching my boob over and over.

Skadi, :haha: That boob punching thing always makes me laugh! ;)

FT, F does the pulling off, shouting, feeding again thing, drives me nuts! I think she's hungry, but then its like a massive fight where i end up feeling like i'm forcing her to feed!? Crazy times. I've just started giving up when she gets like that, i figure she'll shout if she's hungry. I'd guess its just a phase.

skadi i get beaten up at feed time as well, though i get a fingered hooked into my nostral and yanked.

walua was about to post a Good luck message for you! hope it goes well for you. Are you taking N with you? if it starts to go bad you can always plan a vomcano with him in advance and just pass him over right before

cuppie and walua are you both ntnp as well? we will have some new babies before we know it!
I'm very excited by this!

M up from her usual 40 min nap and shes fine...all other naps downstairs today

waula...good luck today...i need tips if it goes well x x

to add...its good you have another.option...if they wabt to keep you means they have to.accomodate you which is great...you have options and not just threatening to leave

waula - good luck hun, but relax ... will be fine!

skadi - i know.... so wrong.

on/off feeding lads - thanks for letting me know im not alone in this. he just managed a short feed and is now passed out on me lol x

so lads whove not had an AF...... youve been testing.... mmmm.... maybe i shud too. i just assumed that no AF is due to breastfeeding.

couple of questions for u all.....

do any of you still have SMALL amounts of the thickish yellow d/c we all got after labour - its just now and again i will wipe a little bit away

c section lads.... do any of you NOT have this double bump thing.... im not really sure what it is and im curious as to whether i have one LOL

OH YER.... totally forgot we used condoms when DTD, so maybe i wont test haha. i forgot that u lads are NTNP.... we arent starting that till xmas time LOL

i don't know what a double bump is either FT?
And yes on the discharge. I thought our swamp crotch days where over? It's not all the time just sometimes.

woo on the nap Mitch!!

oh and no swamp crotch here (quite the opposite in fact )

mmmm im not sure what a double bump is.... i just keep hearing people say about their c-sec double bump LOL.... and also their ''overhang'' LOL... but thats a pregnancy thing not a c-sec thing only. think thats wen ur left with lose skin.

all i know is that im verrrry wobbly.... but dont think i have a double bump etc.

its my weigh in day tomo morn.... been so good so hope its another 2 pound loss. if so, then im half a stone lighter than i was at my pregnancy booking in appt... YAY!

just another stone to go..... boo.

cant believe at the height of pregnancy i was over 3 stone heavier than i am now. its amazing to think about dont u think.... i didnt ''feel'' that big at the time - even the day i went into labour.... but i was... i was HUGE!

i know what you mean about not feeling big when pregnant FT, i knew i was but i didn't feel it, We saw a very heavily pregnant lady in town at the weekend and i pointed her out to OH and said she was ready to pop and that i was glad i was never that big, he just looked at my sideways and after i moaned at him to tell me he said i had been bigger than that by the end. Scary stuff.

i to just have the very wobbly belly i think

im not really sure how to tone my tummy. it seems yoga and pilates are best..... but they are not my cup of tea. i like more dance based, fast work outs. but apparently ab crunches can make the abdominal split worse..... its all a bit confusing lol

G is so cute when asleep and doing his thoughtful face lol.... im so tempted to stick a camera in his face hahaha

lads who are taking their LOs swimming.... hows it going..... still unsure whether to star G off in september.

O just sat up by herself! she was sat on my lap leaning against me while i sat on the sofa so was half laying, and suddenly just pushed herself (with a few grunts from the strain) away from me and sat up by herself! it only lasted about 10 seconds and she then fell over sideways off my lap! she's tried to do it again since but can't get the balance right.

i didn't know that about ad crunches ft? is it really bad for you?

The belly does get a bit less wobbly over time lads, but it never fully recovers i'm afraid! and for those of you planning more babies, it doesn't do the same thing second time, it gets worse! Sad but true. I wouldn't swap my babies for a firm tummy though, so its worth it right? :haha:
I felt ginormous at the end this time!!! Seriously like the size of a house! I find it amazing i've lost 30kg (well a bit more now, i'm lazy with weighing!) i still look and feel big, but i'm below my pre-pregnancy weight, so yay!

Ab crunches are really dangerous post partum as they can cause your ab muscles to separate permanently which looks bizarre! However, once they are definitely back together you can do some gentle work to tone up. FT, actually dance style work outs and swimming are really good, as they tend to tone all over, as you use alot of different muscle groups. Its exactly the best way to gain general tone, including to ab area! I had a PT after i had Roh who specialised in PP exercise. She was amazing!! Totally wish i had the time and money to hire her again, i've never been so fit!

Go O! :haha: F tries to sit up too, she's got too many chins to fully manage it, but she tries anyway! :haha: It usually takes a while before they can balance well enough to stay sat up, but you could prop O up with cushions and then she can sit and play with things! :)

Ooooo Emera up the duff again :haha: just kidding  TEST!

Waula - Booooo for work meeting :ignore: you are now here in banned from saying the dreaded 'W' word :haha: please

FT- you've had a crap couple of weeks...hope things improve after Monday :hugs:

Can't remember what anyone else said now as keep getting distracted

I have a feeding cushion which i know is meant to be used to help with sitting as well so will see if that works after her nap :)

Emera do you know how to tell if your ad muscles are back together properly?

L&L the doc would be ablle to tell. Its the middle bit... see this pic for what i mean
