May-be Baby!! Let's get some BFPs ladies!! Newcomers welcome :)

I am kind of a bigger lady so I would hope I wouldnt have to expose my stomach to the acupuncturist. If it helps me get pregnant I guess I'd get over it very quickly though

Aw, sorry you got spotting, Cassidy! :( :hugs: Boo, for the impending witch, boo!

----

Yay for longer LP, Julie! All your nutrition work is paying off :happydance:

So sorry the work situation piled onto TTC is increasing your stress and causing depression :hugs::hugs::hugs: Hang in there! When I feel that way, I've found that doing a project/chore/activity I can control and have some immediate gratification from helps fight the depression.

---

:hugs: Ashlee. I had a pretty low key wedding, and my mom did all the organizing, but it was still a certain amount stressful, so I totally understand feeling freaked.

---

Sorry you are having a hard time, Amanda! :hugs::hugs::hugs: Why's it gotta be so hard sometimes, huh?

FX'd for O!

---

Nichole, when I got to the acupuncturist, I just take off my socks, shoes, and hat, and then lay down and she moves up my shirt to expose my abdomen and rolls up my pant legs to expose my lower legs, and rolls up my sleeves if I'm wearing long sleeves. Probably it varies from place to place, and depends on where the needles are going to be put.

And try not to worry about your tummy, bigger is beautiful too! But I know it's hard not to feel self-conscious when the media presents such a narrow idea of beauty.

---

Rachel, Godspeed! :dust:

---

Good luck, Waves :dust:

AFM: My FS office was closed the whole weekened and memorial day it turns out. Wish they'd warned me they'd be closed, but oh well. They should get my messages and get back to me today.

I thought my spotting was totally gone this morning, but after a last wipe to check CM (which is wet but not EW yet) I got a few teeny orange streaks. But at least it's only enough for a liner. I'm relieved it's stopping.

I have a feeling I'm going to O later than cd15 due to my body being a little traumatized from surgery, but who knows. I've started taking opks to try and catch it (even if I can't try this cycle, I want to keep track). I rather hope I do O later, so maybe I have a chance to try this cycle.

All incisions are hurting less today, yay. :)

Tested this morning with an IC and got a BFN. My temp went up a little though so I'm not going to get too discouraged because I know it could still be early. Just seeing everyone get early faint positives makes me want one so much more lol.

Julie and Amanda, sorry you are both feeling down. Amanda are you using regular opks too??

AFM I got off work 2 hours early which is awesome bc when I got home my opk was nearly positive and I just did another after an hour hold and it's blaring positive. I have cramps too so I'll prob O tonight. DH is home tonight so you know what we'll be doing.......I'm happy I'm still Oing bc I took soy iso this month and I read it can screw up your cycle but so far everything is normal. Hopefully I'll pop out a few eggs from the soy iso! That would be awesome!

yay for having a positive opk and bd'ing! woohoo.

Thanks, ladies! I am feeling much more positive today. I am using CB Digi OPK's. They're working pretty well. We have been BD'ing every day so Im sure we are covering our bases! I am def about to O. Holy EWCM!

Definitely AF- bleeding has gotten heavier although no clots yet. Sure they will come though. Onto cycle 6.
Boooo :? Oh well onto next cycle! Let's prove Suzy right!!

I'm willing to try anything at this point, if someone told me AF would come if I stood on my head and rubbed my stomach I'd be up against a wall rubbing away right now!!
Totally know what you mean. I'd be willing to do a lot of crazy silly things if it meant getting a BFP. Sucks that AF is taking so long to come back :(

I just had a meltdown and had to get sad that im not preggo yet. I hate when that happens.

I definitely have those days :( They are no fun at all. It's especially hard when I think about the fact that I should be about 10 weeks preggo right now :(

I'm trying so hard not to stress but I think it's inevitable lol. Glad to hear that you're healing well and I hope you can get back to TTC soon!

FX for you! I didn't get my very faint positive until 15dpo and I get AF at 16dpo so I know what you mean about wanting that early positive lol. I get so tempted to poas but then I think that it's just going to be a waste since last time it took so long.

u girls have been chatty....wow

Haha the crazy things we do when TTC. Good luck though! I hope Suzy is right! We could definitely use some BFPs on here.

AFM, called the dr this morning and HCG levels from Thursday came back negative :wohoo: Let's hope that's the only time I have to be happy about those results. Also, have found that I have been extra tired the last few days, going to bed at 10-11 waking up between 7-8 like I did when I was preggo in addition to my sporadic nausea and excruciating headaches and gassiness8-[ . FX these are good signs.

Thanks! With my previous pregnancies, I never tested until AF was late. But I want to see how early I could get that faint BFP. Plus I'm impatient and just want to know right away if I've got a little bun in my oven lol. I browsed a lot of charts on FF this morning from women who ovulated on CD 14 like I did to see when they got their BFPs. Many tested early and got negatives but got their BFP around 12-14dpo so I'm using that to boost my confidence lol.

I've been feeling a bit more queasy today than normal. Eating hasn't made it better so I'm hoping that's a good sign. I remember my last pregnancy, I was so nauseous the entire 1st trimester and would throw up if I took a prenatal without eating (I switched to gummy prenatals and that did the trick.) I remember wishing I didn't have to be so nauseous all the time but now? I'm hoping it stays around and progresses a little lol.

FX for you as well. Sounds promising too!

Good luck! I hope you catch the eggy this cycle. I'll be keeping my fingers and toes crossed for you.

AFM- I am trying the parsley tea thing that Kara suggested. It is steeping right now. If it works I will be over the moon. If not oh well, it definitely didn't hurt to try.

Yay for negative blood results, Ashlee! That is great!

Waves, don't get discouraged just yet, its way early! I don't know how you could have waited till AF was late in the past. You have FAR more self control than me!

STG, I'm glad you're feeling better and healing up well :)

Nichole, I have heard of Parlsey tea being used to bring on a miscarraige/abortion on yourself. (like, high school kids) be careful please!

pdx-- Goodluck this cycle! :)

Cassidy, how are you doing?

I'm doing OK! AF is a bitch this month.

DF had his appointment today with the 'lyme literate doctor'. More BS. He doesn't think he has Lyme Disease even though he tested positive for antibodies because he didn't have the bulls-eye rash, which only 80% of people who have Lyme get anyways. So now they're running a million more blood tests on my poor man including many they already have (rheumatoid arthritis for like the third time, lyme, hiv, among many others)... he's getting a CT scan on Thursday, and is going to possibly have a biopsy done on the bump on the back of his head. Blah. Just want answers already! He goes back in two weeks to the specialist to get all of his results. More waiting. Cool.

FS office just called and confirmed that I have to skip this cycle - I'm not cleared to bd, or use tampons, or take a bath (although shower is okay) until after post-op appt. next monday. :nope: And my fasting prolactin was even higher than the initial test (first test was 25.5, fasting test was 33) :( I'm feeling pretty bummed about it.

I was feeling really stressed the day I took the fasting test, so I can't say I eliminated that factor, but now I don't know if they'll want to retest me or put me on drugs for it or whether I'll have nasty side effects if they put me on drugs for it, or if they'll send me for an MRI, or what they will find if they do an MRI. And I don't know if the FS saw those results before surgery and telling my DH that he wanted us to try natural at least one more time and was so hopeful.

I hate that I have to worry about the stupid prolactin now. :sad2:

I'm excited. Glad that the next time I have to have blood drawn it will be for my new FX sticky bean.

I don't usually O until like day 16 :? which means I basically don't test positive until 1-2 before AF. The two week wait sucks for me lol. But your symptoms sound promising so I hope that you see your double lines soon!

Sorry AF is being a bitch, I hate those months. Ugh that's so annoying that they keep giving you guys the run around :? Hopefully they can finally diagnose him after this round of tests.

Sorry you have to skip this cycle and that you have to worry about prolactin :( that's a bummer. Hopefully you get everything figured out soon! :hugs:

Ugh, Cassidy. So sorry to hear that DF is getting the run around. Has he had any new symptoms, or are they still trying to treat the same symptoms from the past? Sorry AF is being a bitch, too!

I went to the doctor this am just because I have had a cold that wont.go.away. They put me on antibiotics a few months ago, no change. Steroids, no change. They finally sent me to get tested for allergies. Results came back-- I am allergic to everything under the sun. All sorts of trees, pollens, dairy, dust, wheat, dogs, rabbits, and cats :( I'm gutted.

Awwwwww Amanda i'm so sorry! I'm assuming that means you won't be adopting the kitties? :( That really sucks for you! I don't think I have any allergies but have seen many who suffer through them. I hope you don't get too bad of reactions :hugs: :hugs:

Still same symptoms as before.. nothing has really changed. He's exhausted all of the time.. passed out on the couch right now. I love him so much and just wish he didn't have to go through all of this.

Cassidy, sorry to hear your DH is still getting run around by the doctors! :( :hugs:

Thanks for the support, Ashlee :hugs::hugs:

Amanda, sorry to hear about all the allergies! :( :hugs:

Ugh that really sucks about the allergies :( DF has them really bad too. Actually he was allergic to cats but I adopted our first one from Cassidy anyway lol now we have 3 and he never gets sneezy or runny nose from them anymore. But pollen and grass, etc are a different story :? The only time I've ever had allergies was when I lived in Davis. Up here in Red Bluff I seem to be fine though.

Poor Kev :( I hope they figure it out soon for both of your sakes. I know it's not easy on either of you :hugs:

Amanda- that sucks about your allergies :( is there any medication you can take to help relieve the symptoms? Do you have any fur babies?

Cassidy- I am so sorry about DF getting the run around. That is the absolute WORST! DH got the run around for a year before we was finally diagnosed. One dumb ass dr said he was just anemic and put him on iron pills for months. By the time they FINALLY figured out DH was in stage 3 almost 4 of Hodgkin lymphoma. As much as all the tests suck, it's a good thing that they are doing everything they can to figure it out. It was when DH got the lump on his neck biopsied that they were finally able to put it all together. Good luck to you guys.

oh gosh... i have the same thing :(.... a cold tht just doesnt go away... sometimes claritin help and other times it doesnt... i just dont want to go on prescription for the allergies as i keep thinking it will interfere with ttc :dohh:
