Mayhem Babies! May 2011 mummies and babies

I have just quite rudely told OH to get his damn plants the hell out of the flat, the kitchen is full of little spiders and they have been living on his plants  I have a bug phobia, this is not good...

This was the newborn T-shirt on Miss Charlotte (My bigger twin) :haha:
She has just now outgrown all the preemie clothes and moved to newborn- Tiny Rochelle on the other hand is SWIMMING in newborn still!
We had a friend drop off a box of clothes yesterday that her girl had outgrown- and I mean a BOX  - I now have enough clothing for 4 babies!!!

Heyy that was really generous of your friend :) Charlotte looks sooo cute!

OK, thats another window in the flat we can never open again along with the bathroom window, OH just let me know where the vile little buggers are coming from  Our bathroom extractor fan doesn't work cos there is TONNES of spiders living in there, we taped it all up from our side, but they are coming from there, along the outside wall and in the windows  OH has been told I will NOT be using the kitchen again until he has totally despidered in there  I fucking hate this flat

Josh has been awake for 5 hours! He will not go to sleep :(

Oh no wiggler that would freak me out!! *shudders*

Meow is Josh grizzly or just awake?

Go to sleep, sir Josh!! It has to be something in the air because Anberlin has only slept for 20 minutes since noon, and it's 5:30pm now.

Wiggler, I'd be disgusted too.

My clogged duct has developed into mastitis. Ugh.

I could not handle the spiders wiggler  you have my sympathy!

Heyy, awwwww! Adorable! Do they seem much bigger to you yet? Eilidh just looks massive compared to when she was like 3 1/2lb:haha:

Meow, have you tried a warm bath and some naked time?:hugs: hopefully when he does sleep it will be for a long stretch!

Aww Meow, I hope Josh gets some sleep soon :hugs:

I am totally freaked out at the moment, OH is ringing the HA in the morning, they need to get pest control out here about that damn fan, when we rang up after the first time the fan broke the repair bloke spent 30 minutes hoovering out all the little buggers he could and told us the spider problem in there is really severe that we should NEVER turn the fan off as they would just come back. We followed his advice... the fan lasted a month, the day it broke I had OH up there taping it up. We never had the spiders coming in like this last year, upstairs have just had a load of work done in their bathroom though so I think its disturbed them  I'm terrified of going in my bathroom as it is since the ceiling was COVERED in spiders, I don't want to be like that about the kitchen too :(

Oh no :( Im hoping mine keeps going down, I had a lump size of well maybe 4cm diameter, but its slwoly reducing with massage, I keep getting lots of little pea sized ones but massage keeps them at bay. will the mastitis cause you feeding problems hun? Ive heard of it, worried about it, but not actually sure what it is.

It shouldn't. I'm to just keep feeding her on that side most often and massage as she feeds. The crappy thing is, because of the clog, she's not feeding as well and always needs a bottle of expressed milk to top her up afterwards. She'll stay there for two hours and still won't get enough. The clog is not as severe anymore, but it's very deep and very large, about the size if a ping pong ball.

Wiggler- Forgot to say glad your OH is ok. Yuck about the spiders! I can cope with one or two but no way could i cope with an infestation.

Josh isn't grizzly he's just awake. You can see he's tired, he keeps nearly nodding off and then he wakes up again. I would try a bath/naked time but he hates them and i think after all the screaming he would just be even more awake! DH is currently upstairs in the dark with him to try and get him to go to sleep.

Im glad it wont effect your feeding. I believe it can be quite painful?? My MW suggested massaging the lumps in warm water and apply the pressure in the direction of the nipple, not in circles. Will it take long to clear up?

Meow, did you do anything to help with hurty boobs while you waited for you milk to go? :( xx

Awww hope he settles hun, maybe a 5 hour awake stint during the day will result in a nice long sleep for mummy and daddy tonight :)

Have you tried cold cabbage leaves? Savoy cabbage in the frisge of freezser, then one leaf inside your bra. Or a cold gel pack.

Mot tried cabbage, but could try some peas? Would they be of any good? xx

never heard of peas, but figure in a bag of some kind anything cold will help hun!

Ouchies Brandi - I hope it clears up soon :hugs:

Well, one good thing has come of the spider problem, OH now realises how bad my spider phobia is and has agreed to take over cleaning the bathroom and will do daily spider checks in the rest of the rooms so I don't spend all day freaking out.

I'm so looking forward to going to bed soon, I hope Bethany sleeps well, I feel like I haven't slept in a week.

I meant a bag of frozen peas for the cold, not just random peas. xx
