George is feeding now and all last nights wind just blasted through his nappy and his whole body and face is so much more relaxed and he is taking his feed well. Its weird how they unsettled at night?? for you and Sam!!

On an up note, weighed myself this morning, another 4lbs off!! Thats 1stone 6lbs (20lbs!!) in the 6 days post delivery!

I sometimes wonder if it is just too quiet so they like to make some trouble, lol!!

you could be on to something there lol Hopefully the roles will reverse the more awake time they have during the day. maybe need to put tv on during night feeds so it all feels normal lol

Leo has had such a windy bum the last 2 days He was asleep earlier and OH picked him up and he made the loudest fart ever OH thought it was great
We got a sofa and tv unit coming to the new house tomorow after we get the keys Also I cant set up gas/electric/water til I get the meter serial numbers as its a new build the house isnt on the system yet so we need the serial numbers So il be on the phone again tomorow. Havent heard form OH's brother yet about helping us move. He did say he would so Im hoping hes just late in replying. He works nights so that might be why he hasnt replied.
Right now Leo is out of it sleeping behind me hes taking 4oz every 3 hours now like a good boy. OH keeps calling him Chubbs cos of his chubby cheeks and how much his appetites improved

George just fed for 58 minutes!! me thinks he now has a nicely filled tummy and he is settled asleep on his pillow. He looks so much happier. Shame I have to disturb him soon for his MW appointment! Has Sam has his heal test yet 24? Hope mummy and sam were brave

Oh Inge sounds like everything is coming together, you must be so excited for next week

My friend called round with her newborn today, he is 15 days old (8 days older than george) and weighs what George weighed at birth BUT he looks well chunkier, but he is shorter lol

MW hasn't been yet, and Sam has now been awake since 7 and is very grumpy!!!! xx

Wow thats a long time! George only stays awake for an hour maybe unless he is screaming the house down lol

Ive got to take George into postnatal clinic for his heal test, suits me as I have a schedules time and if I wanted to do anything this morning I could have, no sitting in waiting

It felt like an eternity, and it was mostly grizzling!! I have snuggled him under my arm on the sofa and he is finally looking relaxed, sleep time now please!!!!! xx

Hope he sleeps hun! I thought George was settled on his pillow so went to do the ironing and he started again! Put him in his swing to watch me, no joys, but Ive just finished the ironing and picked him up and he snuggled into me and is closing his eyes again, think he cried for mummy! Think I'll keep hold of him this time and hope he has some sleep before we go out.

Leo is now awake and grizzly again hes just finishing his 4oz feed so hoping he goes back to a nap as hes looking quite spaced out now cos hes full up

Uneventful night here lol, my son had a constipation issue at his preschool yesterday though, little guy blocked the toilet full of toilet roll and wiped his bum with his shirt More fruit juice...

ARGH, MW just rang and rearranged our appointment til monday I wanted to see how much Bethany had put on. Even more annoying as I have been sat in all day waiting for her!

He has been asleep in my arm for two hours now, but stirring now!! Was hoping MW would be here before he woke and was due feeding again, but it seems not!!

Feel like I'm turning a recovery corner, so will keep resting!!

24/7, glad you're turning that corner, you should start to feel more back to normal soon Yay for little sam getting some rest! Eilidh is currently asleep on her playmat, other 3 causing complete mayhem while hubby trying to clean

What did Leo feed at sam's age Inge? And what's his wright gain please xx

I think he was only have 2oz at the most. He took a while to get his appetite He lost nearly the 20% allowed form his birthweight but hes back to his birthweight now

I hope so mummy - For the first time today I feel like I'm almost ready to venture out, whereas yesterday I would have been in tears at the thought!! I admire all of you who are back being busy so much!!

I was wrong, Sam is still sleeping!! Wooooooo!! xx
