Mayhem Babies! May 2011 mummies and babies

Awww Heyy sounds like you had a crazy, but nice afternoon with your family! It is nice to have someone come to you instead huh? I know when my parents come here its crazy lol but I do like it, its so draining driving for hours to get to them everytime! And its a long drive for the kids! Hows your ickle ladies behaving today? yay for the new cable!!!!

Milos :hugs: I cant imagine how difficult it must be for you hun. I really hope you get a cancellation for the sleep assessment and you dont have to wait until April for it! I think more eating out places should have child facilities with them, it can be so difficult to entertain kids especially if there is a bit of delay with food! I know of only 1 place round here with a play bit attached and thats a 40 minute drive away!!! Back at home there have 'wacky warehouses' attached to many of the eating hosues so they are a bit better, but we have nothing like that over here!

Mummy sounds like you had a lovely day too! How cute is Maddi!!! lol Wonder if dogs can actually communicate to each other? hmmmm lolol Hows Eilidh today hun? On the mend I hope!!

George took ages to get to sleep, but once I got him off we had a good night! I think he has regressed to having some separation issues again since he went back to nursery this week after having almost 2 weeks off! We had combatted this sleep in cot thing once lol Not to worry we'll get there again. He is still not 100% since he got hit with the RSV big back in December. His wheeze comes and goes and he is always rattling and raspy breathing. Dr has checked him and its not getting on his chest so not too concerning, but it does mean he still has this damm cough and isnt feeling well all the time :(

Harvey did you go for your Italian? Hope you enjoyed

Wiggler wtg on the decent wake up times!!! Hope that continues! How they feeling now? Sickness gone?

Okies I got a busy day planned lol.. not sure if I will do it  but I planned it lol so I will make a start lol

:hi:

Mummy- that's great she shouts 'help' for booby lol. Maddi sounds adorable :winkwink:

Heyy- glad you enjoyed your visitors but yeah it's hard work entraining and feeding them:wacko:
Did you tidy your room:shrug::haha:

Milos- hope milo's appt comes through sooner for you.
Lol at Ava and the doggies:cloud9:

Wiggler- never tried venison:nope: not really keen to try it either.
Hope youve finished your packing:shrug: time is running out!

New- :hugs: hope George settles for you soon:flower:
What's your plans for today, tidying? Or are you scared to say in case I set you a time limit

Brandi- those videos are hilarious lol

We ended up going back the Italians we went to shortly after having Aaron and it is sooo good :cloud9: mmmmm but I ate it all mummy, sorry! I felt so stuffed and sick after I couldn't hardly drink my cider n black :nope:

Aaron woke when we came in as our company came back to ours for an hour. Aaron played shy but was tired and all snugly so gave him his bottle and we went to bed when our company left and he slept till 8am:happydance:

I've already made the cheese svaoury and the chicken curry so that's me dine for today:happydance: just :coffee: all day:cloud9:

Aaron's busy running his batteries down playing with the Sunday magazine,
he's so tired but won't give in

:hi: hun!!

We have done Joshua's bedroom! Almost completely we're just popping out now to the shops before they shut! I still have the ironing and kitchen to do, but ironing is a non starter lets get serious :haha: and kitchen will only take 5 minutes I'll do it whilst I cook dinner later lol

Im thinking of selling my (George's lol) Jumperoo! Someone local on FB was asking for one and I found myself thinking George never goes in his now. When he does go in he wants to get out. He likes just sitting on his mat. He doesnt really like being on his feet at all lately. In the Jumperoo he just picks his legs up and swings about and moans after a few minutes to get out! It was awesome when he was little, he loved it but I think its time to say bye bye to it!! :nope:

Im also almost convinced its George's hip causing the moving problems, He has now fully mastered the crawlling position but his affected hip/leg gets stuck under him. He cant pull it out at all, it just stays in the same sitting position so he doesnt get anywhere  He got his assessment soon so we'll soon know  He isnt in any pain, just looks like he cant bring it forward himself  Although when I help he just goes splat lolol

He's got his trainers on today he looks sooooooooooooooo cute!! lol :cloud9:

I got some piccies.. you can see how he sits and tries to crawl... his leg stays the same  This is how he attempts to crawl! And how he doesnt get far because his leg gets in his way lol Silly boy! He's alot more ethusiastic about moving now though, although still wont come to me or Joshua, only to get objects

:hi:

Your on a roll today but yeah I doubt the ironing will get done :nope::haha:

I'd sell your jumperoo if he's not using it, make more space for you and give you some spends:happydance:

Why not buy him a walker? It may encourage his leg movement and maybe build up some strength in his legs, if not at least he can sit upright and feel like a big boy at a higher height. Aaron just sat in his at first but then discovered he could move and get into a whole lot of trouble

He looks so cute in his trainers :cloud9: his outfits lively also:winkwink:

Aaron's wearing his M&S outfit from the penny stall, I think it cost a whole £4 lol. I love that stall, they add more things every hour! I got him a lovely pair of autograph dark grey dress shorts for £3 for the summer! Do you have a M&S penny stall in your Market?

Errrmmmmmmmm, my room? whatever do you mean

I could just strangle my kids and husband- I CLEANED my kitchen yesterday- then fixed dinner (Tidying as I went) and got up this morning thinking I had just the actual dinner dishes to contend with- to find a DESTROYED kitchen :growlmad: Every bowl, cup, mug, glass and fork has been used and all over- there are 4 large empty beer bottles, dirty paper plates, 2 salt containers  sugar spilled all over my stove, 1/2 an apple all brown and slimy- JELLY EVERYWHERE :grr::grr::grr::grr::grr::grr:
I refuse to clean it! [-( They are all getting up and doing their part- enough is f***ing enough! :gun:

Don't have teenagers- start slipping your LOs anti-grow pills NOW, before it's too late!!!!!

Milos- try only taking him places that have more instant gratification with food- soup, etc- and ask your waiter for it immediately when you are sat down- you can also have a "going out bag" of things he likes to play with, but he only gets them when you are out so it makes them special
I don't remember who asked earlier- but yes, my nephew has mild Asperger's Syndrome- We knew something was up with him when he was 18 months old and pulled all his toenails off  He has sensory overload issues and some mild social issues- he's also crazy smart and a brilliant artist- he has had pieces of art in galleries since he was 5 - some of his issues have gotten way better over the years- for example, he no longer vomits when he sees jello or anything else slimy- but he now has some pretty severe facial tics

My Aunt and sister came down for dinner- I made tarragon chicken salad sandwiches, broccoli and cauliflower cheese soup and a BIG salad- I ran around all day trying to get my house in order, etc- made dinner and fed the babas- fed the masses while getting the babas ready for bed and put them down- THEN ate :dohh: I don't know why I thought this would be easier than going to them??? :dohh: :dohh: But it was nice to have them visit- I never get visitors here, so that's part of why I went all bonkers about it

we took his sippy cup and let him drink that while we were waiting. we salad and the garlic biscuits (went to Red Lobster!) he was really good while we were eating. i think its because it was a place that gets packed, so the food takes a little longer to get out to you. we tried letting him color with his crayos, play with car keys, etc. but he just kept tossing them and thrwoing them on the floor :dohh:
Milo loves to "draw". we have the Crayola magic wonder metallic paper (it shows up shiney). he LOVES it. i've kept all of his scribbles. lol. Milo totally hates his toe nails being clipped. his finger nails he's gotten used to me doing. but i still can not for the life of me get good toe nail clippings.
glad to hear your dinner didn't go to bad :hugs: we never have visitors either :nope: then again, i'm not sure if i'm ready for that yet. :haha:

 I just made the girlies a tomato and cheese omelet with oregano and pepper- they are sitting here meticulously picking out the tomato bits before they eat it :dohh: I'm guessing hot tomatoes goes in the "NO" column! :haha:

Remember that room where your bed is that you never get to have a sleep in

:growlmad: that must be so annoying!! I'd definately let the culprit tidy up:winkwink: well they wind get fed if they've used all the cutlery will they?!
Just ensure you and the girlies get fed:winkwink::haha:
How's hubby's :laundry: going? He must be going comando by now

new- that's good to hear that George slept for you. hope his wheezes dont come back. for a really long time Ava had a stuffy nose after her last cold. poor babies  love the piccies of George and his shoes. i hope his doc can give you some insight about him not pulling himself. but i'm sure they'd see it as an improvement since last time he was still the lazy baby  i agree with Harvey. maybe he'll like a walker? Ava hated the thing :haha:

harvey- glad that you enjoyed your Italian  8 am?! that's great! Ava slept until 8 too

heyy- dont clean the kitchen! i cleaned the house yesterday and within 15 minutes of it being done, Milo was ransacking the house again :dohh:

If he likes to draw, you might try an etch-a-sketch or a magnadoodle for his special going out to dinner toy :) I carried a mini etch-a-sketch on my keyring for years for my nephew- worked like a charm! It also came in handy entertaining other kids a few times

he got a magnadoodle for christmas. lol. he did love it. but it was a cheapie and it broke already :dohh:

Harvey- I caved on the laundry- it was spilling out of my laundry room and into my kitchen  Also- he did himself a "load" of laundry- he washed A SHIRT for work :growlmad: We can't afford for me to be stubborn and him to be lazy! Although, Bethy tells me he did that on purpose so that I would take over again  Anyway- I got the last of it done about 7 last night- and I see from here there is already a load in front of the dryer again! :dohh:

Milos- I don't mind when it's the girls making a mess- it's the ones who are fully capable of throwing their trash away or grabbing the sponge and wiping up what they've spilled that piss me off!

I LOVE that it's lazy day Sunday and my Aaron is home today :cloud9: will be snuggling on the couch with all 4 of my babas and watching movies :cloud9: I think I might make some curry for lunch :munch: or maybe just Dagwood sandwiches :munch: :munch: But not 'til AFTER they clean the kitchen! :grr: :haha:

:happydance: Ava 8am wake up:thumbup: it's lovely to get a lie in:cloud9:

If milo loves his magna doodle I'd get him a good one, worth every penny if they enjoy something:winkwink:

heyy- lol, yeah. i hate the fact that i cant get upset at Milo yet for making a mess as i clean  hope you guys enjoy your sunday. after i eat i need to shower, get the kids ready then going to Sears to do some clothes shopping for the kids

harvey- looks like i'll have to invest in a new one! lol. but we dont take him out much :nope: so hopefully he wont ruin it at home. its something that can definitely keep his attention for a good half hour

Milos, as a last resort and only if you know he wont last long, let the restaurant know as you go in that he has these issues and apologise ahead of time. Lol we've found that makes your food come in record time!! Yay for ava sleeping so well:happydance:

Wtg getting the cleaning done new:thumbup: George's hip could be the cause, he'd have to work much harder than the other babies to move:hugs: He is getting there though hun! Sooooooo cute too:cloud9:

Harvey, glad you had fun, :nope: for not saving me some! Aarons funny, whats he doing with the sunday magazine hun?

Heyy, your nephew sounds alot like Ruaridh:hugs: Is his dx aspergers or autism? We have ASD so autism on Ruaridhs reports but his developmental pedi says its aspergers, here you dont qualify for the assistance programmes if dx is aspergers but you do for autism, even high functioning which is the same as aspergers:dohh: The tics are a normal part of autism, Ruaridh has a fair few verbal tics which his regular pedi said could be something called tourettes, I was giving new earache about this:blush: but the developmental pedi said its all part of autism. Anyways, lovely to hear how well your nephew is doing and how smart he is:hugs: Sorry you caved on the washing, lol I do it here too:haha: Whats a dagwood sandwich? 4 snuggly kids:cloud9:

Wiggler, hows LOs and OH today?

Brandi, how're you guys doing?

Were heading out soon and there's talk of IHOP:happydance:

LOL- Dagwood is/was a comic strip character who made jumbo sandwiches and now they even have restaurants that special in them
https://www.dagwoods-sandwiches.com/

Nicky is dx aspergers- they were hesitant to even put that down, as it is really mild- but we (Sister, BIL, my mom and I) kept pushing for a different specialist - once we got one she spent 15 minutes with him and was "oh yeah, no doubt" The first guy was trying to tell us it's normal for a 3 year old to be terrified by slippers and puke when someone else in a restaurant has custard  He's 11 now, and my sister (his mom) was telling me last night that his newest tick is driving her bonkers- he Hums- kindof- it's real high pitched and in short bursts, over and over again- she said she feels so sorry for her youngest (5) because she has taken to wearing her Ipod headphones constantly just so she doesn't yell at Nicky :dohh:

mummy- hope you enjoy your IHOP  :munch: when Milo was 12 months i started to google tourettes in infants/toddlers. that's when he would shake his head repeatedly and it looked involuntary  it lasted from about 12-20 months!

i just had Milo lying on me to get him down for his nap. and he kept "repeating" something. but since his "talk" is just high-pitched squeaking, he was doing the same pitch change over and over while he kept turning his hand in and out (back of hand facing him, then not, then again, then not. lol) i already know that when he starts talking he's going to be repeating a lot

OH is still in a lot of pain today, he is supposed to be avoiding fizzy drinks as they contain something which sets him off, and then he expects sympathy! :dohh: Dylan is really upset OH can't cuddle him properly, I keep telling oh to ust sit with him and talk to him, but the ignorant git won't. He has been doing loads better with Dylan recently though so I will let him off today. I hate it when he does it though, Dylan has been tantruming all bloody day!

Bethany is doing amazing today, standing on her own lots and really smiley and happy :cloud9: She has been tying to eat Dylans toes which he isn't too happy about
