Mayhem Babies! May 2011 mummies and babies

She was so brave  I bet she enjoyed her kfc:cloud9:
:hugs: will it affect her at some time in the future?

He thinks the chances are very slim that will affect her badly but he couldn't tell me for sure as he hadn't personally seen the scan
I have a good feeling that she will be absolutely fine she is to carry on doing everything she normally would.

I'm hoping they re scan her to look for any changes just for peace of mind, if they just leave it i'll always worry, but you can't spend life worrying about the what ifs i suppose x

Kind of brought it all back from when she was poorly  it came out of no where she couldn't walk, bend or do anything she was immobile we were in the same hospital as where i was having my 20 week scan with Livi the next day & i overheard a phone call that i thought was about Ashten saying that they had found high white blood cells (if i remember correctly in her blood) & i went home & googled spent all night awake crying thinking my little girl had cancer  but they must have been talking about some other poor soul doesn't bare thinking about  we need to be so grateful for our childrens health

I actually think I know what you're talking about with the first one (But will refrain from using the word :winkwink: ) but the second part about something being outside that should be inside confuses me? Glad to hear it's not currently causing her any discomfort! My son has two extra ribheads in his spine, it makes it VERY uncomfortable for him at times- :nope: If it causes her pain in the future will you reconsider the surgery option?

Check you out so organised 24!!! cant believe we got our first Mayhem birthday tomorrow :nope: time is going just too fast!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

wud so glad the appointment went well for Ashton sounds like she has been through ernough already :hugs:

Heyy that sounds like a lovely service. I wanted Joshua to play a part in Joshua's but int he traditional catholic badtism there isnt a role for him but our priest got him to help with a few things at the font and witht he candle etc

Ok definitely going to tidy up now, got to find somewhere for the ironing - and Im told this sofa bed is a doube futon.. ffs i swear its not what a futon is in my head  lololol I cant take it upstairs until my parents get here, so i wont know till then if they are sleeping in my room or Joshua's or which room I can use to dump and hide the crap in??? I so should have tided up weeks ago huh! lol

Oh balls its school run time now lol .... maybe Joshua will help me tidy up if I pay him lololol

Arghh advice needed ladies!!

George has been unwell for a week or so now yes? Temp peaking at 39+ although for last 5-7 days this has been high but normal/high... but now he has developed cold like symptoms, his appetite is low and he is VERY irritable.. anyways.. my friends little boy started being ill the same ish time and it also still ill with similar symptoms only he got a rash from no where and has been diagnosed with measles  I read on line and george has all the symptoms except the rash, and it says if measles is suspected they should see a doctor .... do you think i should ring and get advice or will they think Im just being one of those high-rate mothers taking a LO to the doctors for a common cold (which i thought it was!)

When it comes to something like the measles, BE one of those high-rate mothers! Call the advice nurse, hon! Has George been around your friend's LO at all?

Well done Ashten for being so brave! :hugs:

Just ordered all Sam's birthday presents as I was emailed a 20% off code for ELC, so feeling poor now. Just got to buy his little smart trike, an england kit and a couple of Mickey Mouse bits and hes done! xx

What did you get Sam fir his birthday at the ELC? I fancy getting Aaron a smart trike:thumbup:

I can always send my mam by courrier (non returnable though )

Ring new! :hugs:

Sam is having a smart trike, a bubble bouncer trampoline, wooden activity cube, bath toys, click clack caterpillar, a puzzle, wooden blocks, spinning gears and cogs, bubbles and a rainmaker. :D Well thats what I've ordered anyway - All my family have been asking what to get, and now its simple as I have bought it all and can distribute it between them all. And it means I know he is getting what he will like too. xx

Take him to the walk in centre new:thumbup: better to be safe than sorry and nip it in the bud now rather than worse later :flower:

He's going to love his presents

I was thinking of asking people to give him mothercare vouchers for his trike, is that cheeky:shrug: Aaron has loads and some just don't get played with, so I'd rather he gets a trike than toys that stay in he corner

Anyone tried the tommee tippee teething dummies? I got Aaron some when he was 4 month old and hes now just chewing on the sides with them:dohh:

Thats exactly why I wanted to pick his birthday presents. We got quite a few odd christmas presents and they just don't get used! Ask for vouchers harvey.

We are getting this trike.... https://www.toysrus.co.uk/Toys-R-Us/Bikes-and-Rideons/Trikes/Smart-Trike-Fresh-in-Marine(0083681) xx

Nice trike:thumbup:

I'm going to ask for vouchers and if they dont want to then so be it

I rang, doctor told me to take him straight there. He has all text book symptoms except the rash (and temp but that comes and goes). he said if it is measles there will be a rash and that will come with a very high fever, if that happens he's to see dr again. he is going to inform health board that is suspected measles and they'll probably want a swob of his cheek. he said there is no need to keep him isolated at this time unless he gets really unwell, and measles or not its viral so no treatment.

got back police lady on my doorstep - she pissed off she was knocking ages apparently! oops! Of course i opens front door to invite her in and she is greeted by the flipping sofa bed :dohh: then living room has a chair piled up with ironing :dohh; i must have looked like a right slob lol Then George wanted feeding (thats what we doing now) I have tiddled the kitchen, and Joshua is moving the landing crap from my room to his :dohh: oh and I carried the sofa bed upstairs on my own, jeepers bit heavier than I thought but deciding that half way up the stairs was a bad move!

Karate in 15 minutes, need to iron, george still feeding :dohh: ironing needs moving... erm might text mummy see if she has set off yet, if not gives me about an hour after karate to ship ironing upstairs :haha:

:happydance: just rang home, mum is chatting on the phone which means they not in their car on the way ha ha ha okies I think that gives me an extra hour to play with I hope

george still feeding.... this is slowing proceedings down :dohh: lol

Poor George! A lady in my journal
Took her baby to hospital earlier in the week and wards are full with measles! xx

Fingers crossed George doesn't get measles, has Joshua had them yet?

Aarons  I'm :coffee: with my Ferrero rochers :munch: :cloud9: me mam is a bad influence for buying them for me:blush:

What's everyone up to tomorrow? (except mummy who will be a very proud mammy on eilidh's 1st birthday :happydance:)

We are going to our local park which specialises in babies and disabled kids and Aaron loves the swing! (weather permitting) I've just seen a gritter :argh:

new- lol, sorry Joshua didn't leave his room. hope the cops can help about his bike. kids did not stay asleep :nope: Ava woke up a little after 1 and was up until about 3 :dohh: Milo woke up once, but he went straight back to sleep. both slept until almost 7. they're napping now  hope George feels better soon.

wud- its good to hear you found out :hugs: wtg Ashten for being a brave little girl  and enjoying KFC! i havent had any in months.

harvey- how is Aaron doing?

cant believe Eilidh is going to be turning 1 already :yipee: we've all come so long in the last year. on another May board we had our first 1st bday yesterday. and next month, the twins

harvey- how is Aaron doing?
:

He's doing great thanks! He's more mobile now so by 6pm he's knackered and he's normally asleep by 7pm, may wake about 11pm but then goes over till 6/7am, so all good (for now)

He's getting a little anxiety, but if no one crowds him he's okay:dohh:

How's ava's walking, or should I say running by now lol. Can't believe she could stand/walk so early:thumbup:
