Moms of April/May/June 2010 babies thread! :)

Emera great bump shot, she has definitely dropped! I saw a post on FB the other day it was a picture of a woman with stretch marks and the slogan 'your body is not ruined, you are a goddam tiger who earnt her stripes' Will you post a picture of the blanket when it's finished? I'd love to see it.

L-C That's really cute you got a good report and that Will loves swimming. Is it a swimming class you go to?

Mork Do you have a feeling either way as to what you are having? I thought boy all the way through first time round and was right and this time I kept changing my mind but am now thinking girl. We are going to be team yellow too.

Modo hope the antibiotics are working and you are starting to feel better.

Maybebaby That's great Owen's sleep has got loads better, you must notice a massive difference.

Sarah that car is lovely. I'd be driving round in it all day long as I'd love one of those! Maybe the garage can keep your car for a bit longer?

Amy :hugs: hope you are doing ok. What a big step forward with your divorce. Here if you need to talk.

That OBEM was awful, I was crying so much. That poor woman am so glad her baby girl was ok but that 5 minutes must have seemed like hours to her.

As for us Oliver is asleep and so is his friend who comes to play two days a week. I have been looking at slings as we don't think we need to buy very much for this baby, so I am thinking it's a good excuse to buy a new sling! My justification is that the Close Baby Carrier I had from first time round the material on it is just to thick to use witha summer baby. I like the look of Ergos, Mei Tais...that sort of carrier.

Hi

Wow emera she really has dropped!!

Maybe - It's friday woop woop, hope you have a nice weekend :happydance:

Sarah - did you get more snow, we had warnings in the morning briefing and then nothing lol, always the way here :dohh:

Muddles - I'm getting a new sling too, my friend has one she never used and so I think I'll buy it from her, I have the baby bjorn, but want a wrap one to keep baby snuggly so I can move more with Will. It's a toddler swimming class we've been doing, as Will was very timid and me and DH are pretty good swimmers and swore we'd have a water baby. They start proper lessons at 3 so I want to get him climatised now. Seems to be working he's come on loads in three weeks.

Amy - :hugs: that's a big step, I hope it goes smoothly now hun. Glad you are enjoying work. Love the pics on FB!

Modo - Hope you are starting to feel better xx

Mork - I was a mess through OBEM, don't think I drew a breath, only watched it last night and it's been on my mind all day, it's really scary!

I'm pooped and am working 7 -5's this weekend :nope: it's going to be a killer. Will was up four times last night, which is unusual but becoming more often. Good preparation for the baby I guess.

Hope you all have a good weekend in case I don't get on xxxxx

LC shift work whilst pregnant sounds hard!

Muddles - I agree a new sling is a good idea ;)

Am having a stab at making strawberry jam now and tonight going to a linen at home party at my friends house! :)

Party cancelled as her granny is sick :( was really looking forward to a night out! Dan did an early shift 7am-2pm today and has been in bed since 3 napping! Its niw 5.20 :grr: Owen is super clingy and Erin is driving me crazy! Thankfully Dylan is being good! I've been awake with kids since 6.30am and get no nap :growlmad:

Maybe: sorry the party got cancelled hon :hugs:

LC: That's really great that Will is enjoying swimming! Sorry about your work hours and Will's wake ups :hugs:

Muddles: good luck finding a carrier you like :)

My cold is a lot better so thank you for asking girls. I saw a physio today which really helped with the spd pain that has started recently. Going to take Boo up to bed soon as he outright rejected his nap today.

Hi all -

Hope everyone is ok - I have been super naughty and bought a new pushchair today! It was an ex display in mothercare and the offer was too good to resist and Dave said if we change our minds we could always pop it on Ebay and get the money back!

I am shattered Amy has been up since 5 and is still awake - am going to attempt to put her to bed again soon as I would like to go to bed myself!

Oh dear maybe, shame about your party :( howd did the jam turn out???
Modo - your physio 'adventure' better have helped after all that too-ing and fro-ing!
Muddles - i too want a sling - one i can hopefully breastfeed in, am thinking the moby, any ideas/thoughts on this one? I think this baby is a boy, but then i thought that with t lol!!! hows it going now?
L-C- Bet you are one proud mummy :)
Amy-One big step starting proceedings, i hope that you are starting to see some light at the end of the tunnel - we are all here for you, big hugs xxxx
Sarah-hows the snazzy car?
We had an awful night with T last night :( it took 2 hours for her to go to sleep and then we had wakings all through the night with her waking fully at 5am :( Touch wood tonight she has gone down ok and is currently asleep. We think its a tooth - front lower incisor.
Hope you are all having a good weekend xx

Maybe - :hugs: Sorry you didn't get your night out and that Dan is making you feel murderous! :hugs:

Mork - Might be a weird question for some people, but do you have a preference, boy or girl? Obviously either will be ace, but just wondering? I wanted this to be a girl as i have a boy and i figured they won't fight quite so much physically when they get older. Boys can be rough and tumble! Then again another boy would have been lovely too, as growing up with a brother, they would have been able to do stuff together as they got to being older, like teen years, where as a boy and girl will want to do really different stuff by then. So yeah, just interested! ;)

Muddles - I'm thinking of getting a stretchy wrap, or making one as the Ergo is brill, but something more stretchy might be nice for round the house. Got to look into prices though, likely i won't be able to afford one unless i don't go for a twin stroller.

H&F - Yay for naughty pushchair purchases!!! :)

Modo - I really hope the physio will help you alot! I was told i'd be rushed through for an appointment, but after a useless initial consultation i got a letter saying my next app. is in May!?! :dohh: Stupid people!! Ah well, hopefully it will all resolve itself after the birth!!

Amy - :hugs: It must be so hard and emotional at the moment. Hope you and Alex and the girls are all well and coping. Thinking of you :hugs:

L-C - Glad Will is coming on with his swimming! :) Its the one regret i have that Roh hardly ever gets to go swimming, although when we go he's very enthusiastic and terrifyingly brave! We just flat can't afford any of the different extortionate classes that are available. I've not found anything round here that's less than £10 a session. Actually really annoys me!

I avoided watching OBEM this last week, as i missed it when it was on, then decided i don't really need anything negative in my head at this point!

Well, hurrah! I finished the blanket i've been making for bumpy! Just in time, i'm 37 weeks tomorrow! :) Here are some pictures! Its full of mistakes, as i've never knitted before this, so it was a learning experience! :haha: But it took ages (like since the start of December ages!) so i'm proud its done, and its made with love! :cloud9: Can't wait to snuggle my little girl in it :baby:

Emera I LOVE your blanket!! Absolutely gorgeous!! You're so clever! Love your bump too!

Maybe I'm sorry Dan has been pissing you off and that your party got cancelled :hugs:

Mork I hope you have a better night tonight!

Modo I hope your SPD isn't so bad :hugs:

L-C the swimming sounds great! I should really take Oliver swimming but I hate it, I really need to get over that though :dohh:

My 'new' car is lush :haha: It should be too, its less than 6 months old, has just over 2k miles on the clock and cost almost twenty eight grand new   It gas all kinds of gadgets, most of which I have no idea how to work :haha: It has things like a six speed gear box (six forward gears!) and no key, the poor bloke had to explain everything to me twice when he delivered it

Jam was yummy but it didn't set too well so is more like strawberries in syrup but tasted great on toast! Also imagine that it'd be a great topper for ice cream and good in pancakes come shrove Tuesday :)

Mork - hope you got a better night! We had rubbish nights with the incisors coming through, they have all cut now but not fully out yet! Only the 2yr molars to go!

H&f hope that Amy went to bed quickly! I was up with Dylan til almost 11pm! He was lying with me on the sofa! I put him to bed in the end and went to bed myself so no 'me' time! Again!

Sarah the new car sounds great :) bet you don't want the old one back now!!!

Emera - love the blanket! Re boys and girls physically fighting well d and e play wrestling :haha:

How come he went to bed at 10 and gets a lie in (as usual) its gone 10am here! I have been up in the night and been up since 7.15 with the kids and sorting laundry and doing housework etc! He doesn't lift a finger as far as daily chores are concerned :( DIY he does but that is once in a blue moon! I need help with the daily stuff :(

Hi

Maybe he really needs a kick up the arse.... I'm doing the same job 30 hrs a week, up all night and all the housework!!! Makes me mad for you, I've not had a lay in for two years! Glad your jam was tasty.

Emera -the blanket is grogeous! I wonder if sh'll know and make an appearance now? Our lessons are £4.80 a session so not bad, would be more if I took him seperately as I'd then have to pay for me too. We don't pay out for any others so I don't mind at all.

H&F Hope you got to bed. What pushchair did you go for?? My britax b dual arrives tomorrow, I'm so excited! Hope it's as they said x

Modo - glad you are feeling better. I had spd for the last two weeks with Will and suffered on and off after, think iut's starting to ache again. Rest was the only thing that worked, pushing a pushchair really didn't help.

Mork - urggh those teeth were the worst. hope she settles down soon for you. We were up at 5 am again today, I was in work for 7 pm and am shatterted! Roll on 5 pm. Maybe are the 2 yr molars awful? Think that's what Will is getting now.....

Sarah - the car sounds lush, enjoy!! Do you still have snow?

Have a good day xxx

Maybe seriously just stop letting him get away with it and drag his ass out of bed! :grr: you work too now he needs to pitch in!

Maybe: Seriously. He needs to get out of bed :hissy:

Sarah: Wow the car sounds great!

Emera: that blanket is LUSH!!! Well done you :D

LC: Thanks hon :hugs:

Physio has def helped. He said that a bunch of my muscles were stiff and gave me a ouchy (in a good way) stretches which I think have made a difference. He also gave me a lot of advice on how to roll out of bed, sit, stand, walk and climb stairs. I def feel better today and will probably see him regularly. He is going have me fitted for a belt that should also help.

Been a crappy day :( been really teary and Erin and Owen been driving me mad! Thankfully Dylan has behaved relatively well! Danny has taken him out to morissons whilst I struggle on with the other 2! Dan says he's not feeling well! He had a nap this afternoon even though he had a long lie in! I believe he's not 100% but neither am I! When he went back to bed I asked him why and he said well what do you want to do out there? And I said that to forget it if he even had to ask the question! He doesn't seem to get there are things that need to be done every day! He's like f*** it, sit on the sofa! I said that what does he think that the fairies will iron his shirts or load the dishwasher or clean the kitchen! AGH!!!!!!! He really doesn't see why he should do anything! He doesn't even put his dirty dish in the dishwasher! Agh! Grr! Rant over!
