Mucinex?

Has anyone tried mucinex instead of EPO to help with cm? I read about it on another board that popped up when I googled something. I read it works best taking 200mg 3x daily around the time of ovulation but I have 400mg tablets. I figured I'd take one in the morning and one at night when I get close to o'ing.

I don't check my cm (how do you ladies reach in far enough to touch your cervix?! LOL) but I want to do as much as I can to help get that BFP!

I used guafesin, the active ingredient in Mucinex. I just took my dosage in the AM/PM. I did it right around ovulation to help thin out my CM. I know when I ovulate as I have the Clear Blue Fertility Monitor, so not much help on checking CM!

I have heard using mucinex, as long as there is not an antihistamine it should be fine. Any meds that will thin mucous will help.

I took it 2 cycles bck, but only cos I had a cough, and knew it could help tcc. This it did, lots of good cm. No BFP though.
