ok your gonna shot me for this but hear goes

This thread was set up in 3rd tri and was titled would you park in these spaces if you were expecting.

Why has it been taken over by people who have already had there babies

Perhaps because we can tell both sides of the story, being an expectant mother then being a mother.

If we all just stuck to our present relevant forums then how could we pass on advice and views?

Thats like saying none of us here couldn't advise in TTC.

Erm, because the forum is open to everyone, you don't have to only post in 3rd tri y'know.

Patronising. I understand what babies are toddlers are like - just because I dont have my own doesnt mean I dont understand. Im not saying mothers dont need them ofcourse they do - Im saying women who are going through a difficult pregnancy need them to. Thats all! jeez

So you dont think all you mummies has caused a very heated thread and scared the poor poster away

They cant 'debate' with themselves, it is both sides that have got heated not just the one.

Maybe I would have had this arguement when I was pregnant, maybe I would agree with the OP I dunno. Just being honest there.

But as a mum now I look back and think, "nooooo". And that's my opinion. I've learnt that pregnancy is breeze compared to the hurdles and things we have to learn with a child in tow.

lol the sad poster has been here all day trying to defend the pregnant ladies!

Tanay knew it would open a debate after seeing similar in another forum. I doubt she's scared, shes just expressing her own opinion, like everyone else. We cant all agree, but we can agree that everyone has a right to an opinion.

How is that fair? Like most first time moms, I *need* to hear from those who have already finished 3rd tri and can help me understand what is happening/what is going to happen???? We need those women in here!

Yeah I was going to say - havent you SEEN my replies?! Obviously trying to stick it out but got tired hours ago. and bored.

Yes you are right, I am bowing out now. Night Ladies

Tanay, I only saw that thread you posted ages ago about hoping this was a friendly forum

Where I live we a few places that have "expectant and new mothers" parks, and some that just have "parents with prams".

I never used to park in any of them until a couple of weeks ago, I would just park normally. So I went shopping, got back to the car and two twits had parked so close on both sides I could not fit into my car. After waiting AN HOUR for these twits to get back and move I finally had to ask some random to please back my car out for me.

So now, yes, I park in the expectant mothers parks, and also in the parents with prams ones if I had to.

If people could park properly (and NZ didn't try and cram too many parks in one area) I wouldn't have to.

Yup, there wouldn't be sooo many people viewing this thread if it was just "yep, I park there", "me too".

And obviously just because some people have been in both situations still doesn't mean we have the same view.

I actually got stuck between my car and the car next to it once  kind of misjudged the space! DH was pissing himself.

So maybe what this thread shows is that we should all be petitioning shops for expectant mums spaces?
Or you lot should anyway, I'm only in the UK for about 3 weeks per year, don't know why I'm getting my knickers in a twist
