Naughties by Nature

well the bloody swimming didnt happen, after 50 mins crawling in traffic to get there they tell us the ssmall pool is closed cos they change the times during half term.

well that wasnt on the bloody website, im fuming!!!

sucks about swimming Beth

well, the HV wasn't told about about the MC, got a letter through with them wanting to come out to see me, thought it was a bit early so phoned them and went from there

My old MW phoned me back though, 18 days after leaving a message, but not about that, cos I was causign stink about the HV not being informed, feeling back at square one again on the whole confidence point when I have had a fab few weeks

Hi all, lovin our new home and name.

Sorry i've not been on for a whie but it's been a rough couple of weeks, where do I begin, I won't bore you with non baby stuff so I shall begin with last Thursday.

I went to work as normal and on my home I noticed my stomach was feeling not quite right (thought I needed a number 2 or something, sorry TMI), anyway got back and went to the loo and there was loads of bright red blood in my knickers and a blood clot about the size of a 10p as you can imagine I completely panicked, phoned the hospital and they told me to get there straight away, my parents came with me as Russell works in London now so he was trying to get the train home so he could meet us there, I was hooked up to drips and monitors and it was soooo scary, they found my baby's heartbeat straight away and gave me an internal (how horrible are they?) examination, they could see I was losing blood but weren't sure where from, anyway they kept me in till Saturday as I passed loads more on the Friday morning, I had a scan to make sure all is well and because I had a low placenta on my last scan, luckily that went fine and my placenta has moved up. They have given me the steriods to develop his/her lungs as they don't know if this could cause problems to my due date, they have no idea why I've bled and I was in overnight again on Monday as it started again. NIGHTMARE!!! Anyway everything seems fine at the moment so I'm keeping my fingers crossed it stays that way because I don't want work to put me on early mat leave just yet. PHEWW think that's it.

Anyway hugs to everyone, and come on Samzi and Msmith we need more naughty babies. xx

glad all is ok hun, must have been so scary :hugs:

sounds scary pip, glad all is ok at the minute though :hugs:

how u getting on Samzi?

sounds scary pip, glad all is ok for now though, im sure they will monitor you very closley and its good that you have had the steroids, if little one does make an early apperence s/he should be fine.

mum2be time for a doppler moment i think. :hugs:

sounds really scary pipkin. make sure you rest as much as poss.

Beth - how annoying about the swimming :hissy: i can deffo see you in Callum.

had my best night ever last night. Leo slept in his moses basket from 10pm until 3:20, had a quick 10 min feed and went back down until 7am. i feel like a new woman today! the only thing is that he will only sleep on his front. i know the advice is to only put them down on their back but what do you do if your baby won't sleep on their back?

if that is the only way that he sleeps then let him flower (it never did me any harm) :hugs:
what about investing in a sensor alarm though to put ur mind at rest?

Hi girlies, long time no see!:flower:

Sorry it's been so long, I just don't know where the days are going...
Will start with all of you...

Samzi, hang in there hunny, being overdue must stink (I wouldn't know, but can imagine). At least you know your bean will be fully cooked!:happydance:

Pip, so sorry you had to go through that, it must have been awful! At least the bean is okay, hopefully all will go well until your due date!:hugs:

Blondie, I am glad they are being cautious with Zara, and that she's getting back to normal. Your facebook pics are so cute, I wish we lived near each other and our babies could play! What happened with the ttcing this month?? (I'm nosy, can't help it).

Beth, you and Callum are sooo alike, I am jealous, Harper looks just like her Daddy, my family calls her "liitle Chris". Good thing I love him so much, eh?:dohh: So cool that Callum already has sibs, and that you are trying again so soon!

Mum2be, I am sooo glad things are ging well. Don't feel bad, hunny, I just know this one is not just going to stick, but will be perfect. Have faith, my love.:hugs:

Tori, hope all is well!:hugs:

My apologies to anyone I've missed. Love you all!:hugs:

Now for a quick update on me....

I am back at work, and missing Harper terribly, but also enjoying having an adult life back (which makes me feel guilty, there's no way to win:wacko:). Chris and I have decided to put our house on the market to get a bigger one, so am currently trying to pack up any un-needed junk and get the place ready to show (I am nuts, this is sooo overwhelming).:dohh:

Harper is doing well, she'll be 16 weeks old on Sunday. She smiles and laughs all the time now, and weighs 14 lbs 5 oz as of Tuesday....she jumped from 50th percentile to 80th in 6 weeks, so clearly has no issue in the food department!!:dohh: The nurse was laughing when she weighed her. She still wakes up once a night to feed, can't wait until she sleeps through. But I can't complain, she is generally a very happy and content baby, and we are so blessed.:cloud9:

Hope all of you are well, and I will try to get onto BnB more....love and hugs to you all!:hugs:

Hey Caitlen - good to see you!
Sounds like you all are doing great. :) How long have you been back at work? It's hard, huh? I went back when Freya was about 4 months, and will only get about 14 weeks this time. :( It's just not long enough, is it?

Wow, Pipkin, that sounds so scary! I'm so glad you're OK. I'm sure they'll be taking good care of you. Not too long to go now. Are you feeling ready?

How is everyone else doing?

I'm feeling so much better now. Working from home 3 days a week, which is making things so much easier on me. Stinky has been SO active. Sometimes I'd swear he was trying to claw his way out of there!
Things are still pretty tough, with OH being out of work. He's applied for a bunch of jobs, but has not heard back about any of them. So rude, isn't it? I mean, I know they are getting a ridiculous number of applicants for jobs these days, but to just not contact people? I think it's wrong.
Fingers crossed he finds something soon or my maternity leave will be reduced to about a week! Hmmm... Maybe I could work from home full time, and take Stinky with me if I need to go in sometimes...
Like I'd get anything done working from home with a new baby around to stare at!!

Freyasmum, that is so difficult having your hubby be out of work. Unfortunately I know so many people going through the same thing right now. Fingers Xed he finds something soon hun.:hugs:

Samzi, you must be getting so frustrated!!! Come on lil' bean, we want to see you!!:happydance:

Any news from MsSmith???

booked in for an induction on 28th (9 days time) lets hope she comes before on her own accord though!

Hi Ladies

Well Z went back to docs yesterday and her urine test came back clear so this UTI is gone but we are still on antibiotics until further tests have been done.

Ive had the MIL up this week which has almost caused me and DH to get a divorce but no she has gone I think me and DH are recovering slightly :) TTC is off the cards this month as problems with :sex: but hopefully some time soon - I'm so fustrated as really want to get pregnant again but I'm trying to hide it from DH and not put pressure on him. :(

Caitlen - I so wish you lived nearer :( Maybe the bigger house you are planning on buying should be in NE England

Samzi - I popped on exactly 41 weeks, just when I had resigned myself to having an induction - you have plenty of time yet :hugs: - make the most of any sleep you can get now though  because if you think now is bad just wait until baby is here :)

Glad everyone else is ok - sorry I haven't got time to reply to everyone as we are off out to MOthercare to buy a bath support thing for the proper bath as Z has outgrown the baby bath

Hay ladies,

I hope you all well and for samzi and msmith i'm keeping my fingers tightly crossed you will go into labour soon!

Has anyone heard from msmith at all?

Caitlenc you little one sound so sweet i can't wait for orry to gain a belly laugh (he's nearly there with his giggles so i'm sure it wont be long) at the moment i'm debating wether to take the addtional 3 months unpaid leave to make it 12 months i know its nothing compared to the short time you were allowed but i'm sure it's still going to be hard when the day come to leaving him.

Blondie I'm so glad your zara is getting better and the test are coming back in her favour she had us all worried there for a second, getting over the 1 stone mark is amazing she must love her food!
and don't let your MIL get in the way of your happiness i'm sure as hell not letting mine, but i still dread the day she comes to visit :growlmad:

Beth did your callum know how to swim as i've been reading they go back to there natural reaction to swimming when they hit the water and know how to hold there breath under it as well.

Mum2be it's time to use that heart monitor i hpe by now you feel reasured each time you use it! and yay you for the progress of little un'

Freyasmum, it must be hard with you DH being out of work it hard, i was in work the other week and they where saying they had 75% more response to applications then any other time just for 1 job, hang in there hunny it will all come right in the end!

Pip send all my love to you chick hun it must pof been awful for you, but looking on the bright side you little one is still fighting away in there and i can't wait to see him when he/she is fully cooked!

to all you ladies I haven't managed to fit in i'm so sorry but my brain is a little low on memory today.

****MY UPDATE****

Well orry is thriving he now measure in at 13lb 2oz and is a little sunshine every single min of the day, even when he's hitting high pitched crying if you smile at him he'll brake out with a hugh smile but will then regain his crying!

He's also noticed his feet and is fascinated by them he shows this by kicking crap out of the monkey on his playmat :winkwink:, But i think he's trying to get himself in the guniess book of records for the longest time feeding as today he was on me for a whopping 7 hours (broken with breaks) but this is the way he feeds and i'm use to it now and my nipples have submitted to his demands.

My DD has started to settle down again now and has stopped the back answering and stomps it was really hard not to react to her behavour over the last couple of weeks but my HV said to ignore them and in time she will understand it's not working, so this is what i did but also asked every couple of days ft there was anything she wanted to talk about just so she knew i was still her mum and could come to me anytime. it only took 5 weeks but she has appologised and has opened up about loving orry but also feared i loved him more it broke my heart to think she would think this but i think it's just because she has never had to share me before.

Well orry's awake again so i must see to him

speak soon

xx
