Another thread got me thinking... DH and I are getting ready to do Christmas cards, and I'd like to include our news in our yearly letter.
In the other thread, mrsnewbury needed some ideas to tell Gramma and Grandpa on Christmas This is what tinytoes came up with:
(HAH! Would you do a variation of that poem you did for mrsnewbury for DH and I to put in our Christmas cards to family and friends this year?)
DH and I were married (engaged in June with date on Nov 10) and we found out we were pregnant the end of September... oops
DH is worried about people wondering about the 'dates', but as I'm obviously showing now, people are gonna figure it out. LOL Plus it's a pretty big bit of news for our family
I'm not as concerned about the 'dating' thing... The baby is due the end of May/ first part of June and there's really no way of getting around it. I guess I could just say "we're due this spring" and keep it vague...
Any suggestions?

Merry christmas mum and Dad!
We hope you'll be glad
of the gift we've got you
let me give you a clue..
It's small and it's pink
and occasionally can stink
It can cry and giggle
or sleep or wriggle
Merry Christmas Grandma!
Merry Christmas Grandpa!
ok...it's terrible I'll admit.
Seems I'm not a poet either!heheh
