Not Knowing Whether I'm Ovulating or Not is so Frustrating :'(

I don't have a job right now and money is sometimes tight but that isn't important to us. Money isn't everything and we have a happy and comfortable life syle even with the money we do have. Ameeann I don't think you're crazy for having this baby in a tight money situation. What matters is whether or not you have the love and time for your child. Money comes and goes but your family will be there forever in your heart. It's always there in the back of my head when I think about being able to afford the baby but I just remind myself money is a fleeting thing.

this is EXACTLY what I mean!!


I used to be anal about planning, make sure we could afford everything etc etc but then we realized, if we never just go for it, we'll always find a reason not to! we always talk ourselves out of things . . . too late now! mowahahaha!! hehe no actually this is the only thing we've never talked ourselves out of! lol

Jsh is very right. And cmarie decide what is best for you, ya know? If you see benefit in waiting to get your raise, GREAT! If you decide to go ahead and keep trying regardless, Good! Do what makes you happy!

You're all right! Our financial situation isn't amazing but we pay the bills and mortgage every month. If I don't get a definate answer then we'll carry on ttc. Ameeann I think you've told me your reasons and I agree completely with you.
Mrs jsh my mum took 6 years to have me! So maybe I won't stop ttc! I know we'd manage whatever happens. Thanks ladies! xx

Wow Ameeann I am soooooooo pleased for you. Congratulations.

Cmarie - as I work in school I know what you men, however I would not put TTC on hold especially if it is not a signed contract. Also, having just stepped up for the last year sometimes it is not worth the hassle and the stress levels might not help ttc. I wish I hadn't taken on the responsibility and had concentrated on other things. Its just really hard as everyone needs some extra cash. I actullay worked out the difference it made to my weekly pay after tax and it is very little!!! At the end of the day you have to do what is right for you and your situation.
Sorry - I hope that all makes sense.

I have started to temp this month and will still do OPKs - hopefully I will OV this month. It should be about xmas if I do.

It does work out not to be much money at all for all the extra hassle. Its only the last few months that I have finally realised what is more important to me. Had always been so career driven but now I am more about the family!! Its strange how things can change so much so quickly!!

I'm ok hon. Just feeling a bit low - festive season is not much fun without DH around. Been a bit bah humbug!!! I am hoping that we have more luck with the next cycle but to be honest I think I am putting too much pressure on myself - see it as a way of leaving job, starting family and going to live where DH works!!! I don;t think anyone can be that lucky!

So glad there is only one more get up - poor kids, I think my patience has well and truly gone and it can;t be fun having a very unfestive teacher!!! lol.

ermm the only thing that's noticeable atm, is needing a wee every two minutes!! It's realllyyyy annoying! ha then when you go, barely anything is there! lol
ohh and mind cramps lower down!

I had a few "symptoms" before I knew I was pg: a bit sicky, food aversion a bit, cervix pain like a shooting pain! ermmm hot flushes! ohhh they were the worst, I honestly thought I had the flu! it is horrible! lol I also got a cold!


hmmm can't think what else, tbh, just the weeing thing atm! so annoying!! lol

So your ticker says you are about three weeks along? And when did you get your first bfp? Did you ovulate around the 20th of Nov then?

erm I got my BFP at 11dpo, which was yesterday! lol

and I ovulated around the 5th of December, I think!

I'm not sure how it's worked out tbh, but thats how far fertility friend said I am!! lol

Ok. yeah that's the baby's cycle age I guess. They count from the beginning of the cycle. Wow, 11dpo, that's an early one. I wonder what day I ov'd? Around the same time as you or a few days later I'm guessing. Because if I got my bloodwork on the 10th and if I did in fact ovulate then it was approx early Dec through the 10th at the latest. It really depends on when I get af that will give me a better approx date (though not exact because I don't know how long my luteal phase is). I wish I knew but I had totally given up on this cycle by the time I ov'd. I hope I know either way soon. It's driving me nutty!

hmm well I'm at the doctor on monday, so I'm gonna ask her what she think's as to how far on I am!!!

and yeah I know hun, it's so frustrating I very nearly gave up on it, like 2 days before I ovulated, but a lady on here convinced me not too!!
I reaalllyyy would recommend using OPK's and temping next month if I were you, it relaxed me so much more than what I would have been if I hadn't been doing anything!

I hope you get your BFP soon hun!!!

Thanks ameeann, so do I! And I hope you have a great doctors appointment! How exciting! I already have opks and a basal thermom along with preseed and I've been taking my vitamins so I'm prepared for whenever this cycle finally ends. I can't wait until my wait is over!

Hi Cmarie, can't believe you have to keep going to Tues, but I suppose you'll go back later than us -we're back in on the 3rd. DH will be home on Xmas Eve and doesn't go back until 2nd so it'll be brilliant to spend some time together.
We are trying to relocate. He spent a year looking for a job and finally got one in the summer but unfortunatley we haven't managed to sell the house here yet and I still haven't found a job. So in the meantime we are only seeing each other at weekends. Hey ho - it'll be worth it in the long run. I just relly hope that I do Ov this month and it is next weekend when he is bck!! lol. I hope you find your Ov day too. Is your DH off in teh gap between?

Ameeann - did you do a digi test? Have you doen one that tells you how far along you are? I think I might create an account on Fertility Friend this month - I started temping on Monday so we'll see how it pans out.

I JUST did one now!!! haha it says 1-2 weeks so in UK doctors terms 3 - 4 weeks!! woop omg I ACTUALLY believe it now!!
