November '10 buddies thread

Yep definitely a guy thing bless em!

I'm feeling alot better today, I'm supposed to be going to a hen night tonight and I was really looking forward to it (already paid deposit) so I've decided that this afternoon I'm going to have a snooze to make sure that I'm fully alert and hopefully ok for tonight!

Just had 3 slices of toast for breakkie (was REALLY hungry) and now going to go for a walk up to my friends house for a squash as I can't drink tea and coffee at the moment!

Hope you all have a nice weekend xxx

Hi ladies, hope you've all had a good weekend - well 1/2 of it!

We went to the Zoo today which was good. Emma seemed to love it, she got a bit tired and didn't want to go to sleep (which is amazing...explain why in a sec..) so she was a bit teary towards the end but we carried her round and she was perfectly happy.

Last night, worse night we've had with Emma - I can't complain cos she's such a good sleeper so to get to virtually 10 months, we're v.lucky! But she kept waking up - she'd pooed twice on the run so she must have had a poorly tummy, she had a temp of 38.5 too :( She kept falling asleep then waking up 10 mins later screaming. She finally went off to sleep at 2am...and got up at 6am! I think it's her teeth coming through making her feel worse, hope she gets better soon.

Does anyone else already have a bump?! I'm not even 10 weeks but I swear, my 'bump' (bloat!) is bigger now than when I was 20 weeks with Emma - I'll have to take a pic!!!

Aww, hope Emma starts to feel better soon, must be so hard to have a poorly LO-I'm bad enough if my animals are ill. :dohh:
I've done nothing today apart from laundry and a bit of housework, can't wait to stop feeling so tired. Everyone keeps telling me it'll pass soon so finger crossed!
Hope everyone has been enjoying the good weather, hope it stays like this for tomorrow.

Thanks hun. Fingers crossed a good nights sleep will make her better :)

I'm hoping the weather stays too....although we're getting spoilt with such nice weather, everyone (inc me) is expecting a gorgeous summer but it wouldn't suprise me if it ends up that THIS was our summer, lol. I hope not!!

I know it's very early on but do you have any 'feeling' whether you're having a boy or a girl? OH is convinced girl and TBH I am too - but that's only because I read online something about how 'girl' sperm lasts longer than 'boy' sperm, and I know that there must have been a 4-5 day gap between when we DTD and I ovulated, ha ha ha!! Plus I just see us with two girls, I'll be amazed if we have a boy!!!! xxxxxxx

Whenever I think about what it will be like when the baby's here or even in the dreams I've had since being pregnant, baby is always a girl! No idea why, although I would love a little girl, a little boy would be just as amazing. I have no idea about when I O'd-bubba was a surprise and I've never really got to grips with my cycles which have always been all over the place

Oh, hope Emma feels better soon :(
My OH and I haven't really done anything this weekend. We went to the library and then dinner, and that was it.
He seems to think we're having a little girl, but in all of my dreams and things, the baby has always been a boy :)
Hope you all are doing ok

Hi girls

How are you all today? I'm feeling a lot better lately - less tired & less sick, long may it continue! I'm also on :cloud9: today because I found beanie's heart with the doppler I'd hired, I'd found it at 9 weeks but only very briefly and couldn't find it again, but today I found it and I managed to record it too so OH can listen tonight :cloud9:

I've uploaded it here if anyone wants a listen - excuse my bear leg though, lol!!!!! https://tinypic.com/r/20a8l1z/5

Hope everyone has a good day - when Emma gets up & we've had lunch I think I might take her to a farm.....we've not been before but it's meant to be great for little ones and she looked the zoo at the weekend so it's worth a shot! x

Oh my goodness! I'm excited! I have my first appointment with my ob-gyn on monday, and my hubby's work is letting him go.

Sam1-that heartbeat recording is fab! I haven't heard baby's hb yet, can't wait to! Hope you had fun at the farm?
Msmissa- hope your appt goes well hun!

Had a few stressful days, my little puppy needs major surgery to repair a big hernia. It can't be done at the practice I work at so we've been to Chester to see the specialist today. Unbelievably glad we have insurance for her, the quote is £1,500-£2000
Lots of sleepless nights checking on her and topping up her pain relief until she goes back for the op on Tuesday.
Still feeling very sick and counting down the days until my scan!

pinklizzy: Thank you. Hope your puppy gets better :( that's heartbreaking. My pregnant friend just had to take her puppy in for surgery to remove cancerous tumors. Again, best wishes and big :hugs:

Here's my little baby, hate her being poorly :nope:

Msmissa: Great news about your appt! Let us know how you get on! :happydance:

Pinklizzy: Your poor puppy! I'm sure everything will go ok on Tuesday...is she on any medication or anything until then??

Went away for the night yesterday as my parents were staying at my auntie's caravan near Bangor, so me and Emma went down as OH was working yesterday and today and had football last night. Had a really nice time, went to Llandudno which she loved and got some cracking photos, I'll post a few later.

Realllllly want my scan now.......2 weeks yesterday, still seems ages off though!!!! :dohh: :dohh:

Aww, I love going to Llandudno!
Pup is just on antibiotics and pain relief at the moment. Had to take her into work with me today, we were there for 12 hours and totally knackered now. Watching the amazing Ashes to Ashes then bed, work again tomorrow.

Well, enjoying the long weekend here, OH is working though so I've started a new knitting project to keep myself amused. Knitting a little cardigan for the bean!
Hope everyone is enjoying themselves and not getting too wet-typical bank holiday weather here!

Awwww, what colour are you doing it, cream or white? Before I knew Emma was a girl, I hated the thought of anything lemon 'I'm finding out the sex, I don't want a wardrobe full of lemon for her!!' - then actually, the few bits she did get in lemon, I really liked, LOL!

OH is off today but he's going to a BBQ - he's only just started a new job and the MD is having a BBQ at his house so OH is invited & has to go to look willing, lol. Bit peeved off as he may as well be at work for how much I'll see him but oh well!

Said I'd post some pics from Llandudno so here we are:

Hey everyone

Found this thread from the one posted in first tri, hope you don't mind me joining.

Had an early scan a few weeks ago and bubs was measuring 7+2 giving me an EDD of 25th November. Will try and post a pic if I can work out how to get the scanner working!

Anna, up until last summer I lived in Romsey for 16 years, now living in Eastleigh so not far from you!

Lovely photos Sam! Your little one is such a cutie pie!
The wool I'm using is a sort of cream colour, a bit warmer than white but like you I didn't want to do it in yellow or green :dohh: I can't wait to have a scan picture, they didn't give me one at my early scan.
Hope your appt goes well msmissa, let us know how you get on!
