~~~November Sparklers 2010 mummies and daddies thread ~~~~
I am no way weaning yet, just bought the spoons to be prepared :haha: I would like to hold off until the 6 month mark...but I have a feeling she will be ready sooner, I think I started with Reagan at about 5 months actual age.
Oooohhhh, good luck to your sister Sophie!! 33 weeks is a pretty good gestation for twins, so hopefully if they come now their hospital stay won't be too long...did she find out the genders?
Hope the snow isn't too bad Silas.
My mum has just left...the minute she picked Amber up she started screaming...and carried on and on...until I stepped in and cuddled her :nope: my baby just seems to be pretty clingy to me and doesn't much like anyone else, she was the exact same with my Nan and cousin last week...I think I will start baby and toddler group with her after half term to socialise her a bit more, otherwise at this rate she is going to turn into a right hermit baby!! :haha:
Governor has issued a State of Emergency for Missouri, and we are expected to be getting 1 in per hour, 2 in per hour in some places.
I am sure we will be fine, my main worry is power going out. Really hope that does not happen!
Silas I hope your power doesnt go out, no matter what happens stay home and stay safe. Driving in snow storms is never a good idea!
Thank you hon! No worries, we aren't going anywhere lol. I can't even see hardly anything out of my balcony door lol.
Good luck with the snow, keep safe!
My sis is back home, Contractions registered on the CTG but they weren't very regular and then they stopped. So you ladies who had natural births could it be soon???
I really depends Soph. When I was pregnant with Joseph I had contractions for a certain amount of time, back to back, almost every day towards the end. And he was born at 38wks. It didn't happen as much with Madelyn. :shrug: Everyone is different.
i have bought weaning stuff too in the asda baby event but just cos its cheap
hows lib in the bumbo? evan is liking it, sat in it in the bathroom while i showered :haha:
my contractions were pretty irregular all the way through - got to 8cm then told i needed a section :dohh:
I joined another site, not sure I am allowed to mention the name on here?
Only joined tonight...and so far I have managed to get:
A bumbo ~ 4 miles away for £10 ~picked it up tonight, Amber loves it!!
And tomorrow I am picking up a brand new in the box Lamaze spin and explore, 2 miles away for a tenner!!
:happydance:
haha now you're part of the spin and explore group :haha: you'll just laugh when you see your LO on it
:haha: Did you take a piccie of pixie on hers yet?
I am a bit gutted, things like the bumbo I had with Reagan, then sold them as I never wanted any more babies after the scare with her being early...and now I am going out and buying it all again!!!
Lesson learnt this time though, I have kept it all so far and put it in the loft for baby number 3 :winkwink:
My OH is dumb :dohh: Thinks he needs foil sooooo bad. Whatever. He already threatened to go to his brother's house because he is "bored" wtf you idiot? :haha:
Anyhow, told him what do you do with your family? You stay at home and be bored!! Jeesh!
Idk how much snow we have, just know I AM NOT getting out in it. OH got off early today and is off tomorrow due to snow and all. So, great! Extra family days!! :D
OH she loves it too.
Did I forget to mention I won a spin and explore on ebay? lol
libby's in bed! :D took a while but ahhh peace x
Right I am on the look out for a spin and explore. I WANT ONE :haha:
Dani, I looked on "That" site too have been a member for ages :)
I really want a bumbo. Someone on here is selling one but she wants £27 (Inc p&p) which I think is too much for 2nd hand. Does this website begin with an N?
Leo has been a monster tonight. Faffed and faffed at the breast and eventually refused it altogether but took 4oz of formula - little sod!!
I know that the important thing is that he's been fed but I cant help feeling like he has rejected me :(
I'm also getting him weighed tomorrow so am feeling nervous about that!!
Silas I hope you can pursued your daft hubby to stay in the house and that the storms pass soon.
Jo xx
Evan glugged nearly 7oz of formula before bed :rofl:
I think £27 is way too much! I am sure they are only £25 new. My friend gave me hers, the bottom is split but its still fine :)
Edit: Jo yes it does begin with N :)
Toys r us have them for £37 inc the tray. I was gonna get an Asda's own but I quite like the tray.
Gonna look on the other site now though.
